What an onboard. RIP Craig Breen
This is amazing, the pedal cam really shows the commitment of the driver. Fantastic
Smoothest roads in the world, top class driver and absolute monster of a car. Perfect rally video
The pace notes were soooo fast I could barely keep up. It explains a lot about why rallying is such a great sport and is so exciting. All I can say is WOW!
Yep, it's best to have pace notes read a couple corners ahead of where you are so you know where to put the car so you don't end up going into a hairpin at 120 km/h. Plus it's kind of a mental mapping concept of imagining what the road will look like ahead of you based on what pace notes you hear. =)
@@nightowlrally Its hard to keep all that in mind, while driving at top speed through the corners.
The amount of focus going on is incomprehensible.
Watching this again to reference for some lines for the EA WRC game. Craig we miss you.
It’s teaching me how to drive tarmac better hahah
My God, that is a great demo of a Driver and his Co working flat out to get thru a mass of pace notes. They earned their money on that stage, and they can't do it alone!
Paul did everything perfectly, keeping just the right distance ahead with the notes, being clear and calm with language, and verifying position visually throughout. May his retirement days ahead be just as perfect for him!
Proud to be Irish. We done Paul on an amazing adventure that you made a career out of. You will be missed. 👍👊
What does lid or lips or lids mean? Or nips? I've never heard those.
@@mobucks555 Hi , Paul is saying , "NIPS" it means that the corner tightens half a grade / angle on exit of the corner
@@tiaanddona thanks!
Honestly one of the greatest onboard videos, thank you Craig Breen, RIP.
and this it's time for you breen thank you so much
Just brilliant, amazing teamwork, co drivers need more recognition!
Paul Nagle I understood every word of your pace notes, Great team work.
Da fuqs a nips and a titans five plus a short six titans to forty nips ?
@@petedandrea8463 HAHAHHAHAA
One of the best voices in WRC ever.
This was amazing.
Loved the camera angles, specially including the pedals
The car is just and extension of him at this point. This was truly spectacular to watch. The communication is brilliant.
What an incredible driving!
Thank you WRC. Only thing missing is the telemetry
Awesome stage, awesome footage! We need more of this!
What a legend! Thank you Paul.
I feel mentally depleted after watching this this display of perfection
Incredible!! Excellent job, both of you!!
Always a professional. Thankfully Craig didn't wave to him a goodbye with an exit 😂
Breathtaking video. Simply amazing
Oh god PAUL what can the world say about you! You're The BOSS and I have been following your career for many many years your voice will be dearly missed. Love NEW ZEALAND xxxxx
most beautiful video that I see this month
Magnificent driving, absolutely hypnotizing.
Amazing footage and driving skills.
How many times we can watch this and discover some new thing? this is gold.
I love that "Don't Cut" is just shortened to "Don't" and "Like, Really, Don't Cut" is "BIG Don't"
Thank you!!!
Incredible stage.
Can we convert google maps directions into pace notes
Gracias!
"opens tightens" and "don't" are my favourite pace notes
is don't short for don't cut?
Thanks ☘.
THIS IS THERAPY. THANKS🥰
Purely epic ..amazing driving amazing copilot..it was entertaining and amazing to watch 🥰🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😎
Very enjoyable!!
That is so awesome!!! 😃
Congrats dude!!
Maquinaaaa👏👏👏
that was intense, i can feel it in my bones
plus de vidéo comme ça 😍
the pedal angle is amazing, good learning material for amateur like me
What an emotional finish
Oh my god!!! What a talent!
if only my passengers talk like this instead of telling me how to drive 😅
That is beautiful
You can play the full stage on DiRT Rally 3 when it comes out!
what a mental stretch of road !! fair play to them o/
Without a doubt, the best rallysport drivers are in the WRC. Unreal.
Impresionante
Rest in peace Craig 🇮🇪🖤
the footcam is very impressive seeing him working with the shifting weight in curves
I can't focus on 1 line someone tells me , let alone all those pace notes being read out. Credit to all Rally drivers and co pilots. Co pilots are so brave too
I feel sad he is leaving. Will miss him so! Great champ right there.
Miss him🎉
here again after he's passed away :( he'll always be missed on and off stage!
Loved the Irish flags along the route.
My head is still spinning 🤯
finally full on board dor paul and craig
Those rally boys sure do earn their money. Wow!!
Harika kamera açıları.
2:30 he took a glance at the rally fans... quite sure he wanted to remember that scene
What a Pro Naggle!!!
Now THIS is how you do an onboard video. No music, no flashy cuts that change every three seconds; just the raw session that allows you to immerse yourself in whatever view you want. Only complaint I have is that the forward-facing camera had a weird field of view that destroyed any sense of speed; it was pretty weird to listen to the car blast through the gears while the perception of that speed just wasn't conveyed haha
A normal day in the refinement of Perfection.
how he gets the direction from his co driver, amazes me...
The reading looks even more exhausting than driving!
The gutter technique is use well here
RIP Craig 😭 legend.
Lots of titans
modern WRC cars on tarmac are incredible.
Descansa en paz craigg
This very legendary from craig breen tribute
Get it bra!
I actually watched this hum rally car video I want to learn this skill one day.
Rest In Peace Craig Breen..
It would be better if we can also see the speedometer guys. Thanks a lot.
Great footage! But is it just me or is the camera slightly angled to the left? It makes the experience kind of jarring as left-hand turns feel sharper than right-hand turns. It also feels like the car is turning while going straight. I wish they would put cameras in the middle of the car instead of on top of the wheel arches.
My kind of road.
definitely this is better than F1 😁😁
I can’t read in a car at any speed without getting extremely car sick 🤢 amazing
Spain have nice Touges👌
RIP Craig Breen
every gutter is very satisfying, i think initial D referenced to this...
🕊️🕊️🕊️
Where is this amazing road? Name??
Good bye Paul! ❤
how does it feel braking with the left foot ??
Good bye Paul 🙂😢👍🥇🏆💪👏👏
🏁🏁🏁🏁👏👏👏👏
Wow amazing BMW, see you. Thank you👍🎁💯🤗🌞
What happened in the roundabout? Did he miss it the first round?
It’s hypnotizing to watch the rhythm they’re in, love the pedal cam.
Only thing I don’t get it is I much prefer when doing sims to have shift paddles on steering wheel so don’t have to take hands off wheel unless ebrake. Is there some rule now maybe?
think some drivers (eg. ken block) prefer the lever over the paddles. I think I saw paddles in this car, but I don't know if they were for gears?
@@jsleeio They do have a paddle on the left-hand side of the steering wheel, but it's for the wipers. Gearchange paddles are banned again [1] since this year in order to reduce costs - back in 2014, when everybody was using the lever, Robert Kubica needed the gearchange paddle on the left-hand side of the steering wheel due to his limitations on his right arm, and it costed around £10,000; don't know how much they cost now. Sure the paddle itself is cheap, but not the gearchange system. They also banned the active center differential, and combined with the removal of the paddle, they were able to also remove the hydraulic system which both things were using, again to save costs.
[1] Previously, it got banned for the 2011 season and got reintroduced for the 2015 season, although they weren't using it during the first rallies.
These cars seem so easy vs old classics
2:30 an bonus round on the roundabout
Watching this, just says to me, F1 is just a driving school.
