It was 1989, I was 16, my boyfriend was 19. He was working far away & I didn’t know if I’d see him again, I’d lay there with my little self, crying listening to this on repeat. Fast forward to 2024, we’ve been married 34 years & we have 5 beautiful children. We’ve been through lots of ups and downs but in the end, I was with him, & it was so worth it. I have this assurance, because I have accepted Jesus Christ as my savior. He died for my wife and my sins. I will be reunited one day for all of eternity with her, because of what Jesus did for all of us. Everybody out there can have that same assurance. I still cry a lot, cause I miss her so. But that assurance of seeing her again, comforts me.
