Solo # 2: represents how deeply the death of Cliff Burton has affected them. 5. On the return of the heavy part, they pay tribute to Cliff by reading the poem, his last composition, and continue with the tribute doing just what Cliff would have expected of them, to move forward with the music. 6. Upon reaching the end, the song returns to the classic style of the introduction, symbolizing the memory of Cliff, which will never end. The final riff is suddenly interrupted, symbolizing the end of Cliff's life, cut short by death at such a young age.

This song was meant to be an emotional roller coaster, it is meant to represent the emotions felt during the loss of a loved one. One moment they are here, the next their gone. And secondly: I recommend you check out Deep Purple - Highway Star (if you want some high energy, unbelievably catchy guitar solos) or Deep Purple - Child in Time (if you’re more in the mood for a long ride with variety of cool instrumentation). You reacted to Sabbath and Zeppelin, two of the biggest pillars of modern hard rock and metal but you haven’t yet reacted to Deep Purple which is the third of those old, hugely influential bands. Cheers!

RIP Cliff Burton, also check out Harvester Of Sorrow off the same album ;)
This song is a tribute to Metallica's bassist who died just a few years before this was recorded. You can really hear the guys pouring their hearts out through the music. :'(
Sobrotha You need to let that shit go. Jason has. If it were so bad for him, he wouldn't have stayed 14 years, period.
A really good interview.
Very poignant @9:55 ua-cam.com/video/GFiTkWPZ8xU/v-deo.html
He gets it.
I used to listen to this solo every night driving home from work thinking about my son.he was just born.had to pull over a few times.beautiful.
This instrumental always makes me tear up and the first few times I heard it, I cried, still do when it really gets to me. A dedication to their friend and brother. May he rest in eternal peace. We love you, Cliff! Never forgotten! Generations to come will know your name and legacy!
💖.Oh my god.. Best song ever wrote! (so Sad and agressive at the same i can not hold my tears almost each time i hear it..) when Metallica was on the top of the world.. Gargage sound don't give a shit about artificial stuff. Crazy mathematic compositions. A beautiful tribute to Cliff Burton. Rest in peace brother we ll never forget you... Sorry for my English

Great reaction video...as usual👌...my man...Metallica did a concert in Seattle in 1989..the WHOLE CONCERT IS AMAZING...they were at there prime..I know u would be all about it
“When a man lies, he murders part of the world” Epic song Preston! I want to see you do “Whiplash”! 🤟🔥🤟
you know Preston, I've listened to these songs hundreds of times (pretty much everything in metal u've covered so far) but watching your reactions really makes me happy. Welcome to our metalhead community and I haven't seen you covering the song that gives the title of this album so do And justice for all also soon :) Needless to say that I also, after all this time, still get goosebumps while listening... this was my youth.. late 80's, early 90's.
Definitely one of my favorite reaction pages. I visit daily to make sure I catch one or two
07:45 solo guitar by James hetfield.
May God bless you more and more on this journey of reactions, metal lovers of Metallica and Clift Burton thank you for the respect with the memories and deeds of this boy, hugs from Brazil.
Preston the next we want
Trivium krisute gomen.
Man I almost teared up when you saluted Cliff. That shows some respect!
That quiet riff in the middle is my favorite part.
Hey man, this comments probably gonna get lost in all of them but first of all: greetings from Poland, I love your energy when listening to new music. I really hope your channel continues to grow.
Cheers!
Kuba Mateusiak is it true you guys don’t know the recipe for ice?
@@jarrodderrtake a break from being an ass.
Sorry my dad jokes have taken over my primary attention.
@@jarrodderr Poland needs no ice bro
I just watched yo last couple reactions not even an hour ago and here we go again. Keep grindin bro!
It's fu,*kin cool that you rewind the stand out moments of the songs, love it!
I have been lurking around your channel for about a week now. It has been quite an experience hearing some of the music I really enjoyed growing up and seeing you react to many of my favorite songs of all time. I love how you are down to earth and go into each song with an open mind, allowing the music to work it's magic on you.
I would love to see you react to Mudvayne. Specifically the song Dig. The first time I saw the music video on MTV it totally blew my mind and opened me up to a whole new world of music.
Keep up the good work man!
Been trying to watch this since yesterday,,,,, great video as always.
Metallica- Blackened. It’s a must bro. Much love
P, this is the one song that makes me cry. I was born a year after the death of Cliff. it was a beautiful tribute to Ciff, and I'm happy that you feel what we all feel with this song.
Yep I teared up big time I meet cliff I was still in high school at the time but I would go watch the local bands play here in Detroit. When I heard the news that he passed away,, I was in shock for a while,,,when they got Jason and this album came out,, when I heard this song for the first time I cried,,,miss you cliff,, we all do,,RIP,, salute.
metallicas best album in my opinion. this whole album is just on point. lars drumming and james vocals are at their best on this album
Yeah, it's definitely their peak. The heavy/fast riffs, the metallic and dry almost "industrial" sound from the production (which I hated first but now I love), James' voice, the agressive and progressive vibe of the whole album...it's majestic!
Love watching your reactions, my man. Killing it.
With your love for melodic metal, you really should react to "Awakening" by Unleash the Archers. You'll be sweating by the end of it... but feeling completely uplifted.
Man this is brilliant, I really like the way you do these. I might come here every time I wanna hear this song from now on!
I always hit the like button as soon as I play ur videos and not once have I been disappointed. Ur reactions are genuine. I dig it. Metallica is glorious
Your my fav reaction channel, person, dude lol. Reactions are real and funny.. hold on Brahhhhhh is my favorite :-) Keep it up and good luck to you sugar!!
IMHO, Metallica is a Pink Floyd of our 80s 90s metal... They ARE an experience, there IS a story. some of us get a buzz on and chill...
This song and Orion and Chutulu are my favorite Metallica songs. So glad you reacted to it!!!
I'm glad to see how Emotionaly moved you are by these guys.
Best reaction channel? Most likely yes
Now you gotta do Cliff's solo - "Anesthesia/Pulling Teeth"
Agreed most definitely. One of the most incredible bass solos ever
As a matter of fact other bassists Inculding Trujillo and Newsted attempted it and haven't come close. I have never seen anyone who could do what Cliff could do on a bass 🎸.
One of the greatest losses of talent in my lifetime.
Even after hearing the song a hundred times or more, I still get chills every time I hear that transition at 6:20
Well done Preston. This is one hell of a song to react to. Usually, only long time Metallica fans are aware of this song.
PanterA - This love ' this song the first part it's same the last part i know you love solo
Pisssst.... war nerve
Fucking great song
I love it! You deserve more subs and you're gonna have them for sure 😃 You should react to Metallica - The Day That Never Comes. Who's with me?
King ktf I just wanna say I love watching your reaction to these vids .and appreciate your diversity in music
I love your reaction videos your are genuine, I've loved Metallica since the 80s and it is so cool to see you enjoy these songs as much as I do!!
6:22 gets me every time it’s like they calling out to cliff
Now it’s time to find out why Cliff was such a big deal. Listen to “Anesthesia pulling teeth”. His live bass solo. I use the live version from 1983 in Chicago
Man, when i was listening the first time metal bands like metallica, slipknot and few more with my BF when we was chilling in the basement at age of 16/17 i think, he was smiling every time hearing the high rifts and solos... exactly like u bruuuh and i was like "yeah i told u for years bruuh, this is dooope"! U make me feelin like 17 man, thats a great channel! :D
Finally the video I've been waiting for! Never seen you so quiet during a reaction lol Absolutely love the channel and proud to be a part of the KTF family
Great choice man. Haven't heard about Patricia lately.
Symphony and Metallica "Bleeding me" "outlaw torn" or "-Human"
4x4rambam All S&M is great. Not a bad one on that album. Still one of my favs.
Studio version of bleeding me is way better
4x4rambam outlaw torn is a very rarely acknowledged song. Love that solo myself.
His face was the same as mine the first time I listened to this song; totally encapsulated in the raw power and diversity in this song
There are so many incredible songs out there and this is most definitely one of them.
Orion is their best instrumental by a landslide.
Brian Corsetti nahhh not by a landslide, all their instrumentals are pure masterpieces but I agree lol Orion is my FAVOURITE but not the best
You need to react to Metallica Battery live in seattle 1989. The greatest piece ever
Emotion of pain through music!! The best instrumental song!!
Dude, it's time to start watching their live performances. They're top notch.
Led Zeppelin - Stairway to heaven
Iron Maiden - Run to the hills
Metallica - fuel
Pantera- Floods
Pantera- hollow
Metallica- the unforgiven
Metallica- escape
Just keep these bangers in mind
One of the best reviewers on the Tube. I just subscribed thought i already did. Keep it coming!!
I’ve def cried listening to this song... u can really feel the love and sadness in the guitar harmonies... this was one of cliffs bass creations and was the bands way of sending him home... I love ur vids man... u get it...
The only reason I really watch his vids is so I can here “hold on bra” “HOLD ON BRAAAAAA”
you'd like "Bury Me In Smoke" by Down
Hell yeah! I swear you choose the best songs to react too. I haven't watched the video and I already liked it and know know you're going to love this song!
You straight up need to do an ENTIRE album cover, of and justice for all Preston. It is ALL on fire.
Lesser known artists this channel would love. Mainly instrumental 🤘🏻
Plini- scale the summit- delicious death
Khruangbin- Umphreys McGee- and not to mention the golden era of racer X, Steve vai, joe satriani and yngwie malmsteen. Every artist has a plethora of outstanding music. My vote is for mystical potato head groove thing by joe satriani. I guarantee you’ll have to throw in a whoopsie/ finish him in the first minute ❤️
Thanks bro!
Bells of Lal, pt 2 is also badass (Satriani)
It’s toasty
From mortal kombat
About time, lol. Good choice. I can tell the song really grabbed you and sucked you in. That version of this song has been altered, this version sounds like they put reverb in it. That isn't what the studio version sounds like.
Brandon Trau I agree.
Brandon Trau I think it’s his radio. Maybe a setting, like concert or stadium. I hear the same reverb/echo in all his videos.
Yes man best channel ever! You really understand the work behind each song... You're a metal head right now 🎸🤟
great reaction, bro.
I could see ir your eyes every state the music took you, including the "sadness" part.
keep it up!
