Okay, let me defend her..... Xaden calling her violence was kinda cute in the beginning but yeah at times it was a too much...BUT it makes sense bcz xaden keeps saying to violet that " You are going to be the death of me " and in the last chapter when he makes his confession about how he was not sure when or how he fell for violet makes it clear that she basically wrecked all his defenses Secondly riders falling of the back of dragons was the whole point of selecting the best soilders... since a dragons life depend on his riders life , the dragons really have to choose the fittest... It is literally stated in the book that dragons think the riders can't stay on dragons back are not worth bonding with....this is why they don't use a saddle And Violet fell that many times bcz she was never trained to be a rider and she lacked physical strength NOT TO MENTION that her dragon was giving her a hard time on purpose

Does no one remember that she didn’t want to go to War college? She literally spent her life training to be a scribe in a library, where it’s silent, and that her mother forced her into that way of life?!??
She had every opportunity to go to the scribe quadrant, even with a plan to go & not get kicked back to the riders quadrant. But she stayed. I think the person who posted this video has a valid point.
The thing about “I don’t want to kill anyone” I get that, but she trained to be a scribe not a warrior. She ended up there, she didn’t ever want to kill. See what I mean? It makes sense someone who’s never trained for that would have an easy time killing (not that it’s easy for anyone I’m sure).
When it comes to her not wanting to kill people: it's not a pet peeve of mine, cause you have to remember she NEVER WANTED to be a rider and she was FORCED to become one thanks to her mom - she then worked with her situation and is learning to adapt

The way you present your case made my day 😂❤️ absolutely love your energy.
The only reason Violet did not want to take a life is because she was trained for the scribe quadrant and not the rider’s quadrant. Her reluctance to take a life is what makes it so realistic.
And then also the part of them killing the the rider it's pretty much what they do in war the only difference is in military human war is that they destroy the mentally we're here they try to build them up mentally and physically and if they're not capable then they just let them die which isn't the best but being as though this is a fantasy book I understand it
Omg finally someone said it! I agree with you so much on this, it was so annoying how dramatic she was about killing people
It’s not that saddles arnt invented it’s that the dragons believe if u can’t stay on u don’t deserve to be on. Violets dragon just made an exception for her 😊
I haven’t even read Fourth Wing, but you falling killed me🤣🤣🤣
More like 3 dozen times PER LESSON!!!!!
The end got me 💀😂😂😂
same... like WHY are you letting people kill your dragon riders for shits and giggles... you already dont have enough soldiers.... let them live for christ sake... and let the other be ground soldiers.
THIS!!! exactly this omg
Okay, let me defend her..... Xaden calling her violence was kinda cute in the beginning but yeah at times it was a too much...BUT it makes sense bcz xaden keeps saying to violet that " You are going to be the death of me " and in the last chapter when he makes his confession about how he was not sure when or how he fell for violet makes it clear that she basically wrecked all his defenses
Secondly riders falling of the back of dragons was the whole point of selecting the best soilders... since a dragons life depend on his riders life , the dragons really have to choose the fittest... It is literally stated in the book that dragons think the riders can't stay on dragons back are not worth bonding with....this is why they don't use a saddle
And Violet fell that many times bcz she was never trained to be a rider and she lacked physical strength NOT TO MENTION that her dragon was giving her a hard time on purpose
Yall when she said “The high lord of the night court is here”,
I died ✋🏼💀😭😂
What she mean by this sentence is that in ACOTAR (also a book series) the ml can wield shadow like Xaden. Also his name is RHYSAND✨
😂the falling made me laugh out loud
gale hawthorne had me cracking up
I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO SAW DAIN AS GALE HAWTHORN LIKE THATS EXACTLY HOW I PICTURED HIM
I loved that you pointed this out. Please do iron flame too
the girl killing trope I mean her mom sent her there so she didnt have a choice. She wanted to b a scribe which they dont kill
Thank you for the visual demonstration, I can't stop laughing
Xaden is extremely Azriel coded.
he’s like a mix between rhysand and azriel
i gotta read this just for the falling😂
I hate how many times they have to mention how delicate and fragile she is
The thing about “I don’t want to kill anyone” I get that, but she trained to be a scribe not a warrior. She ended up there, she didn’t ever want to kill. See what I mean? It makes sense someone who’s never trained for that would have an easy time killing (not that it’s easy for anyone I’m sure).
girl you are hilarious i literally cackled at the visual demonstration
Agreed! And the sigh of utter relief when Violet is more tolerable in Iron Flame
When it comes to her not wanting to kill people: it's not a pet peeve of mine, cause you have to remember she NEVER WANTED to be a rider and she was FORCED to become one thanks to her mom - she then worked with her situation and is learning to adapt
What I didn't like was how everytime Xaden and Violet kept getting interrupted whenever they were "doing it" HAHA LIKE PLS LET THEM FINISH THEIR ROUNDS PLEASE!
