Vanilles character brings everything to life, and that's why I love her! I know the noises she does are very strange... but still, she's very enthusiastic and tries to cheer everyone up, I think she's a great character
I love the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy and the first Final Fantasy XIII game in the trilogy is my favorite one ever! I love Lightning as a character because she always does whatever she can to protect her younger sister Serah so that nobody ever hurts her too! I also love how she comes to care for Hope as a protector and a mother figure for him as well!
Game intros should be a promise of what the entire experience can be, and Final Fantasy is usually strong in that regard (Looking at 2 and 10 specifically). This cutscene stunned me and while it was a false promise about what this game and the trilogy as a whole would be, to me it was a promise of what the series could be. And so now, thanks to this cutscene, almost 4 years later, I'm a huge Final Fantasy nerd.
Thank you for doing this! I was playing the game but I hadn't made it to the end, and I'm glad someone decided to post the movie. To me, the movies are the best part of the game.
I believe, that this story, this music, these characters, this art, has been better than any other final fantasy game. It feels so empowering, so fun. I want to see this world and feel it, all over and over again. Final fantasy has changed my perspective of fantasy forever. My opinion is the only one that matters to me. Even if an army of trolls rages on, my heart will stay empowered beyond the end of time. The people in this game aren't real, but the words they say are... over and out....Right
While I haven't played FFX, I can honestly say that I loved the characters of FFXIII. I found them endearing, diverse and lovable. I can't understand why people seem to think that better graphics = worse everything else.
I love you! Okay, I sub you. This is the first time I've seen such a nicely edited, hi res full movie version of the story. Lightning's famous squint? I didn't know she was squinting at that scorpion robot thing! This is great-thx.
The Chocobo chick is officially the best character in the game, and dare I say in any FF game. Thank you for your effort in making these movie videos! I don't own the new consoles, and I'm mainly interested in the story, so these movie vids are fantastic for me. The only thing that could make this even better is if it was japanese audio with english subtitles, but that's just my personal preference.
Love the game, enjoyed the experience and amazed at the production value and not to mention the time and effort that Square Enix put to made this RPG a reality. Thank you so much for the upload, appreciate it very much :D
This was also the game that made a big turning point for the FF franchise between old and new generation. I mean they were bound to make some things we will all hate about it. that's where the differences come in.
Is this series suitable for someone who hasn't played the game? Specifically, is there important content in the gameplay that I'd miss by watching the cinematics only?
Zero Gunz on PC? It's 60gb because it has japanese audio and lip synced cutscenes too. Requirements arent bad because it runs natively at 720p. But if you use something to downsample obviously the requirements will be higher. This game doesnt stress GPU's much.

I just beat 8 (Was never able to get to disc 3 due to breaking discs and brother's deleting my game) and wanted another FF story pronto. FF is the only video game series I'm actually into, I would play every game if I had the time and money, but this game took all the fun away for me...
Ok I've been playing Ffx for sometime but I still don't understand the stories. With tifa and cloud then yuna and tidus and now this. Can anyone please explain the relation between all these different stories and how it's linked together?? Or is it not suppose to have anything to do with each other??
Okay so I've seen the movies and played FF7 and FF10. I never became a fan of FF until I played FF13. Why? 1) The graphics are spectacular! Seriously this would be a better anime than a game. 2) You kind of grow a soft spot for the characters, you want to see them succeed and its hard not to get involved 3) I absolutely love the story behind the game. I'm still not a fan of the command controls but hey dansg08 thanks for this, this is pretty badass =)

After a month I decided to check if someone answered my comment(I should´ve checked earlier,sorry)well I´ve read the comments and I should say that FFX was my first Final, and maybe because I only read comments online saying it was bad because it was linear I assumed that every hater? had the same opinion, all of you have good points of view, maybe it wasn´t a fantastic game and I over praised it,though I still like it and will eventually keep playing it, but you gave me a more objective view :)

I'm in the Fal Cie' and I can't wait to star using paradigms. I like snow fang and lightning. I just wish someone would make this in real life so I can have a really interesting adventure. FF X is one of my fav games ever and I played it during a particular point in my life were it left a huge impression on me so I'm probably biased to say X is my fav but honestly I loved both X and XIII. They felt a bit similar to me too. X was very linear as well. Both cast of characters I found to be very engaging and I love the two different battle systems. Most FF fans get heated and angry over which FF they like but overall the entire FF series I find beatiful and emotional.

i think if this was the first game they ever made, people wouldnt hate it, but i grew up with final fantasy x and it is way different, dont get me wrong, i do like this game but, its kinda like playing a movie. theres nowhere to go or explore, its just a track the entire time. in ffx it was so excititing! because you got to go places and do side missions, and then you got the airship and could go back and do more side missions and find things that could help you like celestial weapons. cant here
Tell me about it man. I believe that unlike Mass Effect, Final Fantasy is not a story driven franchise, it's driven by it's variety of gameplay & just getting sucked into the creation & traveling of the fictional worlds we get to explore.
Saying that you haven't played FFX just means that you may haven't played the rest of the FF titles. Many of the negative reviews of FFXIII are coming from loyal FF gamers on their late 20's to early 30's. Early FF games were very well known for its engaging story which was the series core and soul. While 13 had a lot character confrontations there was little background to share. The game's development focused more on graphics and gameplay and left the heart of the series aside.
im with you, its sad i couldn't play this game, but i cant dislike any FF game they are just individual masterpieces, personally I love VII, probably because it was my first game with a deep story and character development and its graphics were OMG compared to what was there pre FFVII but i cant say i haven't fall in love with each FF game i have played :). lets hope SQUARENIX can overcome their actual crisis and their games keep coming ^^

i'm wondering why the FXIII movie version has a much better video quality than FXIII-LR movie version lol. Even the HD quality of FXIII is way better than FXIII-LR 1080p..
It's to do with the linearity of the game. Since FFXIII is all corridors, they can afford to keep the quality very high. FFXIII-3 is an open world game, and they can't keep the same high quality so they have to sacrifice some. FFXIII also has more pre-rendered FMV's. They were both recorded with the same device and rendered with the same settings, so it's not anything that I have done on my behalf.

Just as a suggestion try adding a little game play like some combat or walking so it dosent look like the enemies just died of a heart attack or something.

I found the linear gameplay boring so I stopped playing it. Linearity isn't necessarily bad, but this game did a shitty job at it.

KH is Kingdom Hearts. It's a video game that is Disney crossed with Final Fantasy, and features many Final Fantasy characters.
