But if the sound quality is not up to the standard of being among the best, paying $450 USD would be a waste of cash, for real.

Sony XM3 and XM4 owner here, they are amazing. For the Sonos Ace my friend has them and I didn't like it at all. But for him they are good because he upgraded from 20$ Earbuds, end of the story; I made him send that back and get XM5 which are way better and still saved alot of money.

Assuming you're referring to the Space Ones, they're feature packed, but they SUCK at what they're made for: sound quality. They sound canny, muffled, and lack impact. The soundstage is pretty terrible as well. Tried them out once, never again. Sennheiser Momentum 4's are my go to closed-back bluetooth headphones. The sound on these is better than the XM5s.
That's why I always stick with Sony even though they have the most weirdest model name 😂. Z1R for IEM, wh-1000xm5, and studio headphone for editing from Sony too
