I’m probably gonna do this but instead of streaming I’m going to use the replay buffer feature and make the clip hotkey something easy like the space key.
Keep in mind that using this method, you can keep variable refresh rate enabled on the Xbox. If you are using a capture card, this unfortunately needs to be disabled.
Hello, I have a question. I used this method and my video frames were dropping alot when I capture it and I saw the usage and found that OBS was using 70 to 80% of CPU and GPU. So if we would use capture card do we still need high end graphic card to download it though Obs or steam labs ? Thanks.

Yo man, everything works great and I’m happy with it, just wanting to know one thing. To have my mic pick up on stream I need to connect my headset to the laptop right. But then the audio for the game will be from the game stream and not from the tv. Am I getting that right?
does this capture in game voice chat as well?
I tried doing kind of same like using the Xbox app but I got lag issues on the "stream" which made the move inputs from controller absolutely unplayable, even though I am using Ethernet Cables from both pc both Xbox to do so, they are connected to a network switch using 2 ports just to extend the original Ethernet cable from router, any idea for this ?
ok being really dumb here but i understand how to setup on obs but do you connect xbox to your pc or do you connect xbox to tv? if to tv how do you get xbox gameplay to show on obs and your pc??

The input lag and the frame rate is not that bad. However the resolution is at least 360p and the colors are kinda distorted from time to time.idk if I will take streaming seriously to ever buy a capture card. Ig I am stuck with this for now

The only way I found to solve the issue was to create a in source and select Game Capture.
Tho the OBS display screen goes black randomly.

Hey thank you for the information I am new to the whole streaming/recording gameplay but I do have a couple of questions. When you remote connect to your xb is it on? Meaning is your controller linked to your Xbox or is it linked to your PC? And second I tried to connect to it but it wouldn't connect now I have fiber internet and a good connection I wanted to know if there is a step I'm missing, I followed your steps in your video. I need some help!🙏🏼 so I’m streaming from my Xbox series S to my Mac mini M1. Yes I figure that out 😂via the o cast app, but now I’m trying to figure out how to get it to record game chat. (Scratching my head) I have everything on my Xbox setup as far as settings go but when I start recording I hear no game chat on obs studio. Unfortunately not since the Xbox app is native to Windows. I suppose you could theoretically use Boot Camp, however. 🤔

You need a stream key from TikTok to put into OBS. They have to provide you one, I don't think you can just check settings and pull one.
So my stream in keeps replaying the xbox on sound And it gets progressively louder

@@MissLibra94 Hi there! Unfortunately the most I could come up with is actually having my sound on my monitor to capture on my external mic. But I did find using a capture card was the easier and more effective way of doing this and literally cost me about $20 on Amazon and it was a less hassle with audio interference and echo.
@@MissLibra94 I also did not end up using this specific method due it it messing up my frame rate on my stream (had Ethernet connection and very fast internet, still lagged) I have a two monitor set up, one would be for my gaming on Xbox and then the other for my pc. Hope this helps!

You plug in your webcam and "add video capture device" from the source plus sign (+)

Could be a network issue. If everything's configured the way it should be, the next thing I'd try is reinstalling the Xbox app. Hope this helps.
can i play games on the console. whilst not having any latency on the computer? i want to record halo infinite. but if it gives me latency i dont want to mess with it
If you use the TV the console is connected to, no latency. If you look at the computer monitor, some latency is a certainty. Wouldn't recommend looking at the monitor for a game like Halo.

You're welcome! Use the Game Bar(Windows key + G) or Discord to talk to your friends. Plug your headset into your computer instead of the controller or the Xbox.

The computer. Only thing you're doing is bypassing the need for a capture card.

Without OBS or some other broadcasting software, you don't have the ability to control your camera, audio, alerts, browser sources, scenes, chat, filters, and countless other features that are standard to a modern live stream. I've also made a video as to why streaming in 1080 60 is actually detrimental to your growth.

Can you get in game party audio when doing this?
Yeah there's a microphone you can unmute in the window. Just use your headset in your computer and not in your xbox/controller. Windows key + G will open up the game bar menu if you wanna do party chat.

The only bad part is that the new xbox app does not give you the option to chose the stream quality like the coampanion app used to

If you tried game capture, try window capture. If that doesn't work. Try the multi-adapter compatibility checkbox in the window capture properties

If you're looking at your TV, yeah. Pretty sure the app itself will max out at 60fps.

Try Game Capture. Sometimes that works instead.

@@StreamerSchool Watching the stream now and it wasn't super loud, it sounds like a softly growling dog or like there's a bee stuck in my mic. I tried the noise suppressor filter but it didn't help unfortunately.

How do you record audio for the game you and your friends in a party
You can just hit the Windows key + G and use game bar to talk to them instead of through the Xbox itself. You'd plug your headset into the computer.

Found this on Google. Try it out. I would restart my computer too, just to cover all the bases.
Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the Pair button and the Eject button on the console, and then press the Xbox button on the console.

So I have done those steps and it shows on my xbox that im playing remotely as well as showing my mic for my pc.
On my pc it shows black screen or says disconnected from cloud gaming and says try again later.

Yes. Use the headset in your PC though, not the controller. There's mic options within the app.
