✅ Today's tutorial I show you how to stream on twitch using your Xbox and windows PC or Laptop WITHOUT needing a capture card! We'll be using the Xbox app and OBS Studio in order to start streaming to Twitch. That way you can have more control over your livestream and add alerts, overlays, chat and more! This works for Xbox One, Series S & Series X consoles.

My xbox app doesnt open when i get to the step of lauching the app of download

Can I use the mic from my xbox headset to use for the stream as well?
You might be able to, I'm just not 100% sure on how the setup would change for that
How is input delay determined? Is it possible to reduce it? Could I theoretically have it pass through to pc but still play through xbox to stream it but play with no delay?

Simply add the capture card to obs by adding a new video capture device source and selecting the capture card :D
Hey I have a question. Can you use your xbox mic through your xbox consle and still have people hear it?
Not 100% sure on the setup for that, but as an alternative you can have a separate mic for your pc

I'd recommend using an ethernet cord to connect both your xbox and computer to the same router
Ok so I at the moment only have one monitor since I use my laptop how do I use Obs as primary once all is said and done so it stops saying click or tap here to continue without swapping off Obs to the Xbox app?
Add the source as a game capture instead of window capture
If you're using 1 monitor, you'll want to keep the game as the primary until you get 2 monitors

So this is all through remote play on your pc entirely? Is there any way to do this while physically playing the xbox and streaming through computer/OBS without a capture card?
Yeah you can play on your TV like normal with this method. It just also allows you to play through your pc if you want
@@CpawsMusic I tried this just now, and found that my Xbox wouldn’t take my controller inputs because it wanted to do it though the remote play. Unless I’m missing something and you don’t need to remote play to stream the Xbox capture and I’m just stupid haha

Mac doesn't have the xbox app, so no I don't think so. With mac you will need a capture card :(

Nice tutorial man helping a lot but there is an issue when I click away from the Xbox app or the screen it’s say “click or tab here to continue playing “ how do you remove that ?
Just make sure to have the xbox app as the main thing that's opened after you're done making changes etc, so alt tab back into it or click the continue playing button or whatever it says on the app :D

As soon as i click elsewhere on my pc to swap scenes etc it says click here to continue playing on the xbox app and also shows on screen which doesnt allow me to control the stream at the same time. any idea how to fix
I'd recommend settings hotkeys inside obs to switch scenes and whatever else you'd like to change on the fly
Instead of using window capture… use game capture… you have to do specific window ( I think that’s the name) and select Xbox. Once you click back to obs that message should be gone. Let me know how you make out.

@@MattyGzzly I'd recommend using your mic with your computer instead if you can, I think you should be able to join the party chat via that xbox app but I haven't tried it myself so I can't say for sure. I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I just don't know it right now haha - optionally you could use a 2nd mic plugged into your pc just for your stream audio in obs
I’ve done all of this , but remote play is very grainy . Having issues making it look as it should .
Also I’m on Ethernet , pc is good . Internet is also good .

Followed everything you said so once i connect everything and click remote play my laptop screen turns and stays black and says disconnected from cloud gaming session

This clears temporary cache data related to cloud gaming, potentially resolving connectivity issues. 7. Check for updates: Make sure your Xbox Series S is running the latest software update. But then i hear the game in my laptop for a min screen still black and this is disconnects completely 🤷🏽♂️

Weird. Not sure why that would be. I didn't run into any issues
@@CpawsMusic So if you’re playing on a regular tv then change your display setting resolution from 720p to 1080p on your xbox settings. I did this and the game appeared on my laptop with audio as well.
Hoping someone can help me. For some reason when I try to make a new source the xbox app is not showing up in the list of sources to choose from. Not sure why this is but if anyone has any recommendations to fix this I'd appreciate it.

Not 100% sure, but I'd recommend using a Display capture instead since it'll force it to capture everything on your monitor

I have a MacBook that has obs and using my iMac desktop to virtually connect to my Xbox/fortnite. In obs the iMac desktop doesn’t appear in drop down for window capture or display capture.

Unfortunately you can't use this method with 360 or OG Xbox :( You'd need a capture card for those
