That rubbish pile behind that person's 5th wheel, or whatever it was, looks horrendous! I hope they do something with it soon! As far as your motorhome goes, I suggest taking it home; if winds get high enough (which looks likely), then you want to protect it from getting ruined as much as you can, and that goes for rubbish being flown around.
We just ordered ours and will be here in Oct. The RV lot we have secured has rules about "junk" that is left outside the RV spot. Nothing can be left out. Can you complain to the owner of the RV lot? Also, we bought a fancy cover with cushion for ours to protect it. Maybe you can consider that to protect it a bit more.
Lol , I am no expert on insurance but my wife is if it's in storage the part where they all state there not responsible by signing that they become responsible. I have more coverage on my Airstream then what yours cost NEW & that is so if it gets damaged I can have it rebuilt
Have you considered takjng your Airstream out for a little trip out of harms way? I'd go to Kentucky or somewhere inland or search for an indoor storage place for just the time of the storm. Even if premium $ charged it would be worth it.
A couple tips for you (from an AI and Mavic owner): 1. Learn how to climb on the AI's roof. I open the rear passenger door fully which gives a couple steps to the roof. This enables me to clean the solar panel to improve charge when boondocking. 2. The Mavic's gimbal is very fragile (sent mine in for service) so buy a one piece cover that also has a gimbal lock. You'll know what I mean the next time you forget to remove the gimbal lock. Also, learn to hand launch and catch your Mavic as it's the least traumatic to the gimbal (my gimbal broke from a hard landing). Love your vids!!
Bring that Airstream home for a week or two. Your uptight neighbors are just going to have to put up with it. I'd call the owner of the storage yard and complain about the junk pile too.
It's a real shame that you pay good money to store your Airstream and the other site is so detrimental. They should be fined & evicted. Incredible how inconsiderate people can be. Good luck thru Irma.

I'd review my insurance policies on the RV and find out where the best place to keep it based on who is covering what in case of any damage.

As someone who does not mince words...screw the HOA and err on the side of caution. It is only for a few days anyway...
Mmmm IN-N-OUT burger! Lol. I hope Irma will keep your Interstate alone.

Uber to Airstream and bring it home
That person should pick up all his trash the wind might hurl it into your beautiful rig
Hope you and your rig stay safe
Agreed. It's pretty crappy that all that stuff is back there.

Isn’t the Interstate small enough to park in your driveway or on the street?
Move the RV to your driveway, the garbage behind your neighbors trailer is unacceptable and possibly dangerous. Good luck.
i think u will b just fine at the storage facility,it looks like irma has a new destination!lol,
Hopefully she'll wither away and leave us all alone!

How long have you been growing that beard? It's super hot!
Long enough to hide my fat face! Haha.
Leave your SUV there and use your Airstream, I would not leave a $150 K RV next to that pile of junk !
