No lead, no steel in plaswad, shooting is getting out of the range of the ordinary man again. Landed gentry, rich folk and invited guests for publicity. I think I've shot my last game day.
Have used bio ammo and steel cartridges @ mountgarret and its as good as lead , very little difference in price, some good shooting clubs that give lessons
Game shooting has always been very expensive. The idea that it has somehow become hugely more expensive because you need to use steel cartridges with biowads is abject nonsense. Putting aside for one moment that a slab of such cartridges compared to top end lead cartridges is very little, if you are ‘the ordinary man’ you’re not going to be shooting 400 bird days at Warter Priory, you’re likely shooting 40 to 60 bird days on a syndicate and the odd 120 bird day as a treat. Unless you’re a greedy or an inept gun (or both) you shouldn’t be firing more than about 15 cartridges on the syndicate day and 40 on your 120 bird day. Four syndicate days and a treat day means you’ve shot 100 cartridges all season. That’s about £65 worth of top end eco wad steel, like Eley. The same number of a top end game load in lead, like Gamebore black gold dark storm, will cost you about £62 for the same amount of cartridges. Are you really saying that you can’t shoot anymore for the sake of another £3?
Good shooting by all looked a fantastic day and weather being on your side keep up the good work and keep them vids coming 👍

Get a better job.
Sorry chaps, can't get excited about over and unders.
Agree. always been a 'from behind' man myself!
Can't get excited about people using Kreighoff trap guns for game, big loads and dressed like clayshooters!
King George VI would turn in his grave.
32g 3 on partridge 🤡
The guns were using steel shot all day and many drives had a mixture of ducks in too.
