What a fantastic opener for your season Dave! That estate has to rank right up there with the best, and they really seem to be true patrons of the sport. A sky full of birds, a pair of 12's and lots of sporty people enjoying the beautiful day, it does not get much better than that. Thanks and best regards.

Lets hope Corbyn's lot never get the opportunity to ruin this greatest of English sporting pastimes. I have enjoyed shooting for over 40 years and my son has followed suit. Belvoir must rank among the icons of sporting estates. Long may it continue. Enjoy your shooting videos Dave and keep up the good work spreading the word on the positive aspects of shooting providing a major benefit to conservation and remote communities that rely on what is a major "industry" in the countryside.

Dave, I know you and I have touched swords before. I love your films, hate your acuracy, but admire what you do. As I may have said, I come from Suffolk years ago. Lots of family days, mostly wild game. My question is, how do we get these monied commercial guns back into the realms of appreciating the sport rather than the numbers? Back in Soffolk in 1975/76 we had fowl pest that virtually wiped out pheasants and partyridges. Yet, on 7 or 8 occasions, I shot on farms or small estates where 7 or 8 of us turned up in tweeds and had days where we were told, no pheasant or partridge. A crack at the odd duck, a pigeon, a rabbit, a fox 'please, if you can'. We had lunch, a few bevies, great company and tipped the part time keeper. My game book for one day. 8 guns. 2 pheasants (Err dogs?) 4 pigeons, 2 woodcock, 1 teal. But, god we had fun. Sorry! and good luck to you!
