Call me crazy but i ran 14 wides and 35’s on a 4” lift, had to break out the sledge hammer to make em fit 😆
I’m running 14 wides on a 2001 2500hd Chevy with just a level kit no cab trimming but it rubs past 60% crank

If you got a leveled Chevy 35s on 20x10s with +18 offset will fit. I’m running them on mine you can turn full lock with zero rubbing
I'm having trouble finding the 3.5 level lift for my 2002 Silverado 1500 z71. I only find it for 2500 Silverado. Can this kit still my 1500? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

sooo....... these are all 12 wides, if you run a 10 or 9 wide, you can run 35s with a little plastic trimming, thats what i see on their website.....

I like how y’all skipped the 2.5in true leveling kit for 4wd. The 3.5in is only for a 2wd.
Jacob Nichols Yes, they do have a kit that is 3.5 in, but it’s only for 2WD trucks. If you have a 4WD the only offering really found for a leveling kit is 2-2.5 in
Jacob Nichols RC leveling keys will only bring the front end of a 99-06 Chevy 1500 4wd up 2in - max 2.5in if you like your truck riding like a dump truck. If you’re putting 3.5in keys in your truck you will face major front end problems soon down the road. Probably after the install it will not even be able to get properly aligned again.

Jacob Nichols it’s actually a 2in leveling kit (RC) and 1.5in body lift (ZONE). The bolts could actually fall out not cracked at all.

I got 265/75/r16 federals on my 2wd work truck model silverado and they dont rub surprisingly lol. The stock tire size is little 235/70/16.

I’m running 33x12.50R15s with 2” spacers, on a Rough Country leveling kit. 1.5” keys in front and 2” blocks in back, On my 2001 Z71 1500. With a little trimming it clears just barely!

Gotta have the 35s if your running 33s you want 35s. If your running 31s you want 33s. It's never ending.
Im happy with my stock 17's and 33's. a solid lift might make me wish for a little more tire though....
A review on 99-06 gmt800 where the goal is to get taller tires without the wide stance with the same lift categories as this review. 20" 8.5 - 10" wide wheel with offsets that pull outside of the tire closer to flush to fenders. offsets at +12, + 18 etc... with the goal of 35" +
Even if the tire is a 35, 36, 37 x 11.5" wide - lets figure out what fits! thanks

I had a 04 z71 and had a 3in body lift did a little trim and ran 315/75/16 on a 10 wide wheel and didn't scrub.
Same information for 2004,2005,2006 GMC Yukon XL 2500 or Suburban 2500...thanks.

I’m running a 6 inch fabtech lift and 35x12.5s and I have no rubbing issues at all, and have not trimmed anything at all
2004 suburban 1500. I want a 4 inch lift with factory stock wheels and tire size and no wheel spacers! Non torsion bar drop would be nice too. Is there such a setup?

34s (275/65 R20) work fine on a small (approx. 3 inch) lift.

I don't really understand I have 3 in leveling in the front and I'm running 35x12.50r20 toyo AT never cut or trimmed (no sway bar) and at full turn just kisses the valence, I will be pushing to 37s this year on my leveling kit and then hopefully "40s no lift" mod

You can get the 3.5" lift and add arms separately Cameron! that way you can get the best of both!

cameron 556 Most people are getting rough country leveling kits and adding control arms. Just get rough country keys, if you need shocks they have a kit for $200. Then get aftermarket control arms or cut your bumpstops like I did.

Does the 2500hd sit higher? I have an 04 2500hd with 20x10 on 35 but want to move up to 37 tires wondering if i could get away with it. I have a 6 inch lift and did the norcal mod before i lifted it which rubbed like crazy
yes they sit about 2" higher then 1500's

I'm running 33x11s on stock avalanche, can make full turns with no rubbing and didn't trim nothing
i will bet you have stock offset . when you change the offset is when the trouble starts. 🙂

I did 35x12.50x17 on my 2000 Z71 Silverado. I’m not sure of the wheel offset though. It’s a RCD lift with 2500 torsion bars it sits just a little bit higher in the front

Is it normal for a truck 14 or so years old to have a hard time turning big wheels and tires like 20x12s and 35s? I have an 03 f150 with 20x12s and 35s and if I’m just sitting in park with it on and try turning the wheels it’s really tough too is that normal?
Well yes and no. The thing is the motor is old and not as strong as it use to be. Another is those stock gears were never meant for a heavy ass set up like that. If you regear it itll be able to turn those tires a lot easier, which means better gas

Krypticate, the I believe 97-03(IIRC) F150's and F250's all shared the same powersteering pump. The pumps work well while moving to help with steering. But sitting still they struggle after a few years. I had a '01 7.3L CCSB with 305/70's and it didn't like turning those below 10mph Made backing into tight area's a night mare!
Redhead makes a steering setup to replace them and gives it ALOT more power to help turn them!
Custom Offsets yea it’s fine while driving I just hoped by forcing it to turn with all the grip the new tires were making I wasn’t breaking anything

It could vary between truck size and brand as well. There are also a few other reasons that the lift sizes could be inconsistent, but they are all 6" kits.
The gmc is cold and I flooded it trying for it to start how long do I let it sit before trying again
Buddy of mine has 22x14s on 37s with a 6" lift and 1.5" body lift

You can fit 33 12.5 mts on stock 18s I did it
Running 37x12.5r17's on a 6" full suspension lift on my 01 silverado. ( 35s and 33s looked like a big girl in heels). Only barely rubs at full turn. Almost doesnt even need a norcal. But maybe im doing something wrong. 🤔👍

Square wheel well isnt the issue, its just a small wheel well. A square with a 36” side is just as wide as a circle that has a 36” diameter. Look at where the tires always hit the fender/bumper, at the bottom. 2015+ 2500/3500 fit 35s on stock suspension and they have square wheel wells..
