I recently purchased Hinoki as a blind buy after watching one of your previous videos on it. I find it very refreshing and relaxing. For context, I was hesitant since I have Polo green, so I was worried they would be similar, but it's a lot more layered and not as sharp.
Sugi is beautiful but is gone from my skin in less than an hour so I can't justify buying it. My favorite is probably Laurel as a warm weather scent. I do want to sample Hinoki again, though. It had an interesting sharpness in the opening that I remember working well in winter.
Glad to see you back. I really enjoyed hinoki and I’ll have to try the rest of the line. Thanks bro 🍻

Yeah they are not very similar.
OMG nobody ever speaks of these fragrances, I love Hinoki and Tsugi. they are so beautiful.

Thank you for sharing. Finally a perfume channel not about the trend following herd.
Blind bought Laurel a year ago and still no regrets. Kinda similar to ELDO Eloge du traitre.
Really appreciate the overview!! Sugi does sound a bit weird. 😊
How you compare it with Aesop's Hwyl?
I got the original batch of Hinoki and it used to be more sappy and camphorous compared to the thing I sampled today.
unfortunately this is 100% true. very different compared to the old version, and much weaker too for that matter
So handsome.
