Bro! That was Awesome! Glad Howie got to cruise in his 55. I could almost feel the smile on his face when you broke the tires loose 😊😊 Thanks for this video.
Thank you Gorni! I wished I had the second half of that video where we went through the gears in it on an empty 4 lane street! Big smiles from Howie that day! Thanks for watching!
Thanks Scott! It was a great day and my Dad really enjoyed it! His sister hadn't ridden in the '55 since the 60's so, she enjoyed riding in it again too! Thanks for watching!
Very touching video Jeff, best Father’s Day gift ever to be able to go for a drive in his car again. You’re a good son to get it all fixed up for him again, beautiful car, got it shined up really nice for him! I’m sure Howie enjoyed the ride!
He did! His compliment at the end of the video telling me that I did a really nice job on the car was his seal of approval for me. Thank you Raymond and thanks for watching!
Cool Video Jeff! Howie is a treasure and it was cool to take a ride along with you all. I sure do love that 55 Hardtop it's a looker. I know I've asked before but was that a original Gypsy red car? Hope you all had a great Father's Day. Later man 👊
Thanks Don! Yep, Howie is the reason I am into cars and this was the car that started the tri five journey for me! Yes, this was an original Janesville V-8 car with a Gypsy Red/Shorline Biege paint combo. I think it was always Earl Sheib Red for the years that my Dad has owned it dating back to 1963. When he did the frame off in about 2000, it was painted Corvette Torch Red. I hope to do a walk around on the car soon. Thanks for watching Don and hope you guys are enjoying the first weekend of Summer!
@DesertRatFabrication Yes, I may go get it today and do a video on repairing it. I will do the repair video on it. It has been some time since cracking one open! The last one I did was for a '66 Bug I had owned.
@DesertRatFabrication It will probably be my next video. If not, it will be out the following Saturday. I need to do the one in my '67 Bug too! It will be a memory jogger for me for sure!
Nice video...A good Father's Day...Tri-Fives forever!...Thanks for the share!
Thank you Wayne, I hope it was a good Father's Day for you too! Thanks for watching!
