I am unbelievably proud of Devyn and Jordan for not only planning this adventure together, but also filming and editing the entire video. Excited to see them do more of this!
Worst case, at least there is one Jeep among them to rectify any issues 🤣😂Not a ruby but at least a Willys so not all is lost and one is a service member. He did at least choose a Yota n not some Bronco, ha must respect. Much to be proud of for sure.
Remember when it was a one man show and now the whole family is in. From another military guy, I can only hope to have something like this in the future when my service is up. Doing things with the ones you love is what it’s all about. Glad to see the guys getting in on the action some more. Devyn, you crack me up dude and I love my Cafe Bustelo in the morning too
@@overland_dadsfl If we are basing the decision on cooking and coffee making skills, I would say neither is Marco 😂. Just kidding guys. I liked the video!
This looks like an absolute blast! It’s easy to get caught up in mods, gear, complexity, ect…. This video is a perfect reminder that all you need is a vehicle to get you out there and good company while you’re getting there and back! Great job with the filming too!
Really liking the additional dimensions to the TrailRecon channel over the past few months. With Regina sharing more and now your children getting some time the channel is growing in a way a lot of other channels aren’t able to. I’m particularly liking the Gucci vs. Walmart contrast to the outdoor experience. Although it does seem the build budget for these 20 somethings is a bit higher than most, it’s clear there’s going to be more content for the beginner.
GLADIATOR! I knew I liked Devyn! Hands down the best movie of all time. The dialog, the story, the music, everything. Well chosen. I love this episode. You guys are amazing. I've had to add a couple more overlanding items to my wish list. I love how humble these guys are. Dad's done well. First, the sausage is trying to jump ship then the handle. Lol, many creators would have edited those out. Well done, guys. I'm looking forward to more of these videos.
Gentlemen you did great. Like the truthfulness and seeing the meat almost drop our of your hand and burning the handle. 😂Keep this stuff in the videos since it inspires all of us who are just starting and don’t have a clue of simple camping. Love to see more of you two gents, and bring dad along once in a while.
Love this. Seeing them at the beginning of their camping adventures and stock vehicles makes me more confident to want to go out and do this. Cant wait to see more of them!
The mistakes and hiccups are great to see guys. Way to get out there without dads help and make a really solid video from video to narration you guys did a great job.
Awesome to be able to get to instill good morals and values in your children that's the reason I got my Jeep to be able to have those moments with my son. You guys ever think about doing an outing for veterans being in San Diego I think you would get a lot of volunteers. Keep up the great work.
They do sell a large hot plate for the small Moka pots. It is literally just a larger metal disk with a metal handle, not too expensive. It does have a large range of uses, I also use it for smaller pots and pans. Just an FYI.
Great video. I know Brad and Regina are super proud. Thanks for showing the hiccups as well as the good. Looking forward to many more videos from you guys.
Having 2 kids of my own this video was very special. Happy for your family to expand your adventures to the next generation. I also use that espresso pot and stove. Pick up a Ilsa Gas Ring Reducer, 4.75-Inch, Cast Iron from Amazon. Works very well!
Great video gentlemen, job well done. Most importantly, you all had some down time, time to relax and enjoy life. It's not about the destination, but rather the journey. At least you have the peace and solitude of the desert. Here in Hawaii, we are mostly relegated to camping down by the beach. Looking forward to seeing more of your great videos in the future. Aloha.
Awesome video love seeing how much this channel that has given us so much knowledge and happiness is growing .... nothing better than family Enjoy guys ! Great rigs !
I must say, I loved the content. Good ole overlanding, nice narration of the trail and good cooking. Perfect!!! Looking forward to more of this same content!!!!!
Great job on sharing the start of your journey & love for Mother Earth's creation, as this generation, rtning home to nature, is the GUARDIAN keepers generation to make the world a better place again. Love it, keep it coming Devin/Jordan. ♥
This is awesome content. Great change of pace. You don’t need 100k in your rig, half the Apple Store, and a Michelin star to have a good time. Some beers, brothers, and brats is all you need!
Fun video! I had to chuckle at Jordan driving over a rock at 2:20. I did the same thing after parking on Oyster Shell Wash. The only difference is my rock was a bit taller and I ended up pinned with the top of the rock between the 2 crossmembers. Took a bottle jack and a traction board to get back over it. :)
I saw that coffee pot incident coming, but you learn something new every time you go out on the trail. Looks like they did their share of learning last weekend. Great job boys....you can't become pros right away. Keep it going.
Amazing video. Great video makers just like there dad. Would love to go wheeling with you guys one day. Would be a dream came true. Keep up the great work love the whole family and energy.
It’s really good to see the younger generation out camping and exploring. A while back, my daughter went out with 5 others for an over-nighter. She was the only one who had camped before. I am looking for y’all’s next trip.
Great video, Devyn and Jordan! You captured the beauty and essence of Fish Creek and did it with a real and raw approach… The crowd factor, stuff falling during meal prep, self deprecating on tent set up, melted a coffee pot handle, and all with a refreshing sense of humor. So great to see your generation following in the footsteps… I mean Tire Tracks, of Brad and Regina and enjoying the great outdoors. Can’t wait for the next video!
Awesome job guys. My dad also got me into camping and off-roading. I'm 40 now but probably have more in common with Devyn and Jordan than their pops lol so this was a fun view.
This was great! I love watching you with your family, the way you all interact with one another. It was cool to see the boys alone on their own adventure, but can definitely see your influence. Great job! ♥
Such a fun episode! Nice to be able to raid mom and dads gear stash. Just snagged a early 70’s backpacking stove from mine, lol. Refreshing to see an video presented with an everyday “civilian” feel. The honesty and humility really came across. ✌🏼❤️😊
This was so great!! My wife kept looking at me while I was lol at this video. Not because I was thinking these kids like she thought I was but because it was a great reminder of how I was when I started doing these things. I would have totally melted the cappuccino makers handle. Great to see the boys out and I can see so much of you two in the boys. Good job you two for getting out there and having some fun.
14:46 I had that Coleman stove before upgrading to the JetBoil… highly recommend getting “304 stainless steel 9.85 inch grill rack” on Amazon. Not only will it hold your Moka pot better it brings the cookware MUCH closer to the flame so it’s more efficient. You can also still fold the stove up with the grills inside.
This was an outstanding video, and I love that y'all kept mistakes you made in the final video. We've all been there! It's also great to see stock-ish vehicles out on adventures!
I am unbelievably proud of Devyn and Jordan for not only planning this adventure together, but also filming and editing the entire video. Excited to see them do more of this!

Wow Brad! Now you're out of a job. 😂
LOL! Jordan love his truck, but we do give him a good razzing about it not being a Jeep!
Time for my second retirement! LOL!

The brothers with cooking are like a young version of Brad and Marco! TrailRecon gen 2!
Which one is Marcos 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍👍👍

As someone who’s closer in age to these two, I’m super stoked they’ve decided to give it a go! Great video and hope there’s more to come!!
This is the most adorable video ever. I thoroughly enjoyed the innocence of it all. Keep up the good work.

I hope to see more from you both!

Sorry did not mean to exclude Mom, bring her also and brush up on more cooking expertise.
Love this. Seeing them at the beginning of their camping adventures and stock vehicles makes me more confident to want to go out and do this. Cant wait to see more of them!
Great to see the boys following in your footsteps. Great job raising your boys.
You might not realize it but you are peak happiness. Enjoy it.
I loved this! You can see both of their parents in them expressed in different ways. Can't wait to watch more adventures. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Usually, Brad gets all the credit (even though I did all the work), so I appreciate you saying "both of their parents!" 😊
Cool to see the boys taking the reins Brad.
This gave me good 2015 vibes. I love to see the multi generational aspect of TR. I enjoyed it thanks.
I like how you guys melted the handle. Keepin' it real is the way to go!
Keeping it intact would have been preferred haha
Did anyone notice how jordan just send his taco in the middle of the rock? 2:24 mins😂 great vd guys

Nice job guys. And Jordan, thank you for your service. I'm a retired PO1. Keep up the good work.
Pretty cool to see Jr and Mom Jr hitting trails together... keep it up boys.
Melting the coffee pot handle was great. Glad you guys kept the little moments in there
Omg. No offense to Brad, but i’ve been looking forward to a video like this forever! Can’t wait to watch.
Haha appreciate it!

As father of 2 daughters, I cried. This moment of proud seems unable to find in my whole life. Keep going kids, big world out there...go explore!
2:19.....whoopsi daisy. Love the stock vehicles on the channel
2:19 the rock gets trimmed by the Taco skids. Classic guy stuff.
👍👍 new headlights on the truck. Excellent video guys😊, liked Devyn’s commentary, seems like a fun guy to hang out with.

Love seeing the reality of how things don’t always go perfect, but you make the best of it.
Yes, UA-camrs should always show things going wrong.
Then we learn how to avoid them!!

Devyn, I have that exact same LZ tee shirt. Always love jeeping around in it.
The greatest band of all time.
Been longtime supporter of TrailRecon since the beginnings…
Really awesome seeing Devyn & Jordan bring even more content and family fun!
Thank you so much for following our adventures!

Good times ! We all learn something every time we head out . Good stuff!
Makin Memories, what life’s about.
Great job guys. Gonna be nice to watch you two in the future.
Good job kids! Milk crates, and those type of plastic crates are always good for inexpensive gear packing in the small Jeep.
Good job lads defo made me smile .looking forward to seeing you guys build your machines and tackle some technical and challenging trails .
Great video. Like them leaving in the coffee pot mistake. Now I want to see all the footage of setting up the tent..😂
How fun! Great vid guys! U gotta do more!
GREAT JOB GUYS. Very much enjoyed this video with my ☕️ this morning. I know we have a very proud poppa 😊. PS love the new headlights, they look great
At least one of the brother has Medical Experience what can go wrong !!!! LOL Can't wait for the adventure !!!
Jordan’s gotten so much better on camera and Devon is great as well.
This channel just grew in content for years to come. Go NAVY
Chips off the ole block! This is awesome. And, the dog is adorable.
Pretty proud of all my boys, hopefully they can get their other brother Justin out next time!
I saw that coffee pot incident coming, but you learn something new every time you go out on the trail. Looks like they did their share of learning last weekend. Great job boys....you can't become pros right away. Keep it going.
I use a similar coffee pot with the same problem. I got a small wire rack for cooling baking and sit it on top of the stove grate
No comment......
Such a shame... Those little Italian expresso perks are awesome
I can remember being a young adventurer myself.
You've gotta be proud parents!
We are! 😊
Ok that was hysterical! 😂 This is exactly what by brother and I are like when we camp. More of these adventures please 😅
Good job guys!!! Can't wait to see both rigs get built and more videos like this with just them.
👍👍 I loved this video, not scripted, just out having fun and how things really happen. I hope to see more of your adventures.
Great job guys! Jordan hit that rock pretty good in the beginning!
Amazing video. Great video makers just like there dad. Would love to go wheeling with you guys one day. Would be a dream came true. Keep up the great work love the whole family and energy.
So fun to see your Sons on a solo adventure. They did great, and cracked me up! Way to go guys!
Enjoyed your easy going style. Just keep doin' what you're doin'.
Great video awesome job Devyn on the narration. Really enjoyed it looking forward to more or just the brothers
This is Great! As an x Army guy who did medical stuff I love seeing the kids get out and about! You Guys Go!
Love seeing the mishaps. Adds some humor into the video.

Cool watching your mistakes. Happens to the best of us. That;s the best way to learn
As a parent, you can sit back and look at this and just smile in silent and humble satisfaction.
Awesome content as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along
You must be so proud of your boys. Their relationship with each other is a testament to the type of man you are and who you raised them to be.
Hilarious! Well done, boys. Thank you all for your service.
Out with the old! All jokes, I swear! In all seriousness, it was cool seeing more of the Trail Recon family out on the trail 🤘
I absolutely loved it!
Great video and really good narration.
Now let's get that Tacoma build going!
This is great!
