WARNINGS:
1. Make sure you have someone to help.
2. Buy a quality part, I bought a cheap part and had to replace it again.
3. Always use caution and be aware when working on cars.
Step by Step Instructions:
1. Take off your door panel
2. Take off the foam insulation
3. Separate window from regulator (USE BUDDY)
4. Remove window regulator assembly
5. Replace new regulator on old motor
6. Rivet new assembly in
7. Realign window with regulator
8. Press new joints into the window and track and clip in
9. Put door handle back on
10. Put door panel back on.

This isn't nearly as easy as it looks on this video but the video itself is well put together.

Very good and informative video! I bought a new regulator with a motor and i will try to replace it myself.
The rivets were used at the factory for speed on installation. Go with short bolts and nuts if you want to make it easier for the next time the regulator needs to come out such as for the window motor replacement.
Really nice clear job on the DIY, here's a tip, take it or leave it. If a project is more than 5 steps, don't call out the steps up to like 10, too many, nobody cares what step it is at that point, it's irrelevant and distracting but not totally bad just annoying ... other than that to, awesome, thanks just what I needed crisp and to the point.

Turns out that the absolute monster rivets they use out of Factory isn't the hardest part, the worst part is if the door panels are bend, here you're looking at some work

Excellent job explaining. I have a convertible and when I shut my door, the window comes buck to the top and doesn't stay secure and comes down a quarter inch. What is broken?
If you haven't figured it out what's broken is a bushing in the window motor on the regulator easiest way to fix is to get a new motor for the regulator or take apart your motor and buy the bushing to fix it but ur better off just getting a new regulator with the motor on it tbh
how do you pop out the ball joints in the window? been stuck for a minute!
any possible idea as to y my regulator broke again? i installed a brand new one for it to break on me just 3 days later
What do you do if the window is stuck down and it won't move with the button ?
