It was her long lost daughter whom she gave up for adoption, and didn't want to acknowledge when she reached out. Can't say I didn't feel bad for the daughter; she just wanted to be loved.
Chrissie was murdered by the daughter she had given up for adoption when she was very young. Before her modeling career took off, Chrissie supported herself by working as a high-end prostitute for wealthy men. One of those men got her pregnant. Years later the daughter tracked Chrissie down and inquired about her father. Chrissie told her who he was and that he was extremely wealthy. The daughter decided she wanted her cut of her recently deceased father's estate, but she needed Chrissie to sign an affidavit attesting to their affair so that she could get a DNA test to prove paternity. However Chrissie had another child, a estranged son, with her loser ex-rock star ex-husband, and she was ashamed of her hooker past and didn't want him to know about it. She refused to sign and then told her daughter to leave and not to contact her again. This sent the daughter into a rage and she killed Chrissie. The daughter was very sympathetic. She had been rejected all her life but this was also about the daughter wanting her millions. It turns out that the rich man really was the girl's father and she got tens of millions of dollars from his estate. Chances are she'll never see much or any of it when she gets out of prison as Jack McCoy sent her confession to Chrissie's son and encouraged him to sue his half-sister for the wrongful death of their mother.
These episodes are only just showing on my recommendations 2 years on. Interesting episode, cringing at the stereotyping epilepsy symptoms which could give others wrong info regarding epilepsy (am epileptic and my type of seizures differ from what they explained happens during seizures). Apart from that I really enjoyed this episode
Those who know the episode's whole story: I still felt bad for Christine. She was struggling to get her life back together, reconnect with her son, and put all of the pain in her past behind her. Yeah, she was mean to her long-lost illegitimate daughter, but I think she would've reacted differently if there was a desire for emotional connection there. Sonja only sought her out because she wanted her biological father's inheritance and needed an affidavit from Christine to validate her claim. Sonja didn't want to know her, she just needed something from her for monetary gain.
I haven’t seen this episode before but ducky seems a little sus if you ask me 😂🤔 it’s probably not him but the way he talks in some scenes just makes me a little suspicious

I think he made movies in England, too
