I am far from a SU die hard, but I have to give credit where it is due. I would not want to stand across the field for too much of this. It's not that the arrangement is a masterpiece. It is just well executed. This tune is groovy, different, to the point, and powerful. Of course you have to play back, but with what? Whoever came up with the idea to play the theme from Nightmare on Elm Street was on some other stuff but it flatout works.
The song was meant to have the trumpets hang over because those were the "screams" (meaning screech, yell, noise made when frighten..etc). If someone is scared they don't scream to a beat and then cut off at the quarter note....dayum people...use common sense. Thinking is still free. As for JSU's trumpets...they've made a sport out of hanging over and having 5 taps at the end of every song "S" 2000
