Great video! I watched it twice and then used it as reference during the install that took me about 3 1/2 hours. I moved the thermostat pin so that gravity couldn't pull it out (I thought this was kind of weak.), but after reading the comments I am going to go pull it out. Can't wait to monitor temps the next time I pull our travel trailer. Guessing I won't see 263 F again!
Super job on this video. I purchased a 21 - had to go to Kansa to get the one I wanted - I'm in Texas. I'm in the big city and we must have theft protection for the catalytic converters - two were stolen in our church parking lot in the middle of the day a week ago. Both vehicles were Toyota's with a higher profile. I purchased the theft protection plate from KW at Offroad Desert Eagle - he has sold many of these over the last 12 years. KW did let me know that he has done all he can to give good ventilation for the catalytic converters but....there would be higher temps experienced and that could impact transmission oil temps - especially in Texas. I will be towing a 4.5K trailer with the Tundra and decided with the trailer towing and "cat" protection - the installation of the transmission cooler is a good idea. I wish I would have found your video sooner - I had already purchase several items from Sparks and a Hayden cooler from Parts Geek. The kit would have saved me from finding these parts! Still having a problem finding the right "hard line" set. Of course - I must choose a 2018 part as the 21 does not have it on the truck but it appears there are at least two choices of hard lines. If you have a part number or someone does - I would appreciate it. Thanks again - very informative.
Thanks Jim, I appreciate that!…adding the cooler is 💯 worth it, temps are MUCH better!…shoot Nick (the guy who sells these kits) an email, I’m sure he’d be happy to help ya with the part number, he’s a great guy to work with!…I’m not sure of it so unfortunately I’m no help there, I’m sorry!

Thanks for the feedback Mark!!...and I totally agree, I would rather have peace of mind especially when towing...if ya need anything with the install, don’t be afraid to reach out to me, thanks for watching!!
Wow you really put this together well. I got a 2020 Tundra and plan to add this after my warranty is up . I'm not towing anything at the moment but want the transmission to go the distance running cooler not frying up components.
This is seriously one of the most informative videos I’ve seen on any install of any part on any vehicle. Do you think this would be an upgrade on my 2017 tundra or does the OEM cooler work just as well?
Thank you, I appreciate that!!...and honestly I think you’re ok with the OEM piece on yours...I have no clue why Toyota removed these on the 2019-present Tundras after including it all those years....if you want to be sure, you can get the OBD2 scanner that I mentioned and linked below video and watch your temps...if they run high then I would consider upgrading to this kit, but you should be good with the OEM one... thanks for watching!
Great video Sir! I just installed my kit from Nick today. Very easy and straightforward after watching your video. Keep up the awesome content! Thanks for sharing.
I got a 19 Tundra and I’m going to do this. Its funny this is in my feed when for the last 2 weeks iv been looking into what is the best ones. So thank you for the website cause I’m defiantly going to look into this.
Yea no prob!…I highly recommend it, my temps are MUCH better since the install…especially with towing…if ya need any help just say the word, thanks for watching!
I have a 2010 Tundra 4.6 4x4 I noticed transmission temperatures as high as 260 degrees while towing small boat and averaged 215 -225 degrees during regular driving around town by myself. I added a thermostat with aftermarket cooler high temp lines. The thermostat opens at 185 degrees and while towing it gets no higher and 188 degrees. I should’ve installed one long ago, Toyota kept telling me it could not be done. If you tow or carry heavy loads it’s well worth it.
Love video. I done same setup as your. I highly recommended put electric fan mount transmission cooler front. I put fan switch and scanguage2 monitor temp. This has help when I'm pulling my RV trailer.
Or if you know you're going to be in hot weather and towing heavy ...just pin the thermostat open and your temps will never go above 200...I watch a video of a guy to left his pinned open in hot weather and it stayed at 165.
Needed the same thing, went a different direction to achieve similar result. Running 35” tires so I re-geared to 5.29 Nitro Gears. Now I can turn these tires like they are stock size and my transmission stays much cooler due to gear difference. OBDII shows consistently low transmission temps even while towing. Obviously this costs a lot more money, but I took care of two issues at once. Great video!
Great video. Very informative. I'm not sure (yet) if I need the transmission cooler. I did purchase an OBD scanner ( Veepeak) and the OBD fusion app.I followed your instructions for the ATF Pan and Torque Converter, so I will be able to monitor their temps going forward. Thanks for making it so easy to set up. I got temps for both immediately.
thank you!!...yea keep an eye on em, it's highly debated on whether it's needed or not, but most feel it's better to be safe than sorry...especially if towing...let me know how you make out, and thanks for watching!!
TFL tested the Tundra transmission without the cooler on the IKE gauntlet (long uphill section of freeway near Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado). They concluded that transmission temperature rose to high levels, but never exceeded maximum design temperature.
yes sir, I saw that video...I'm just not comfortable with the temps I have been seeing, and I've already heard several cases of people getting warnings due to it...I just figured better safe than sorry, especially since I tow alot!...thanks for watching!!
I saw that same video and they did that test on a fall day in Colorado maybe 50-60 degrees max. I’d have to imagine the transmission temps would be higher on a 80-90 degree day.
Thanks Rick!...and I totally agree, it’s crazy to me that they removed this after all the years of including it...makes no sense...thanks for watching!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Oh it makes sense to the accountants running Toyota. Multiply the cost of all those coolers being deleted and add that to all the transmissions they will get to repair =$$$$$$$
That’s a very short term outlook coming from a brand with a long pedigree of reliability. Doing what’s best for the consumer will work out best in the end, but I tend to agree with it being a short term financial decision based on how many consumers will actually cause failures. I’m glad my 2017 has a cooler, that’s for sure.
You are unbelievable doing all that! Very nice and informative video. I was trying to see what kind of running boards do you have in your truck .. thanks
Thanks man, I appreciate it!…love these projects, I’m always messing with something when I have some free time…haha…my running boards are actually from eBay, got em for $150 but honestly don’t recommend them…they’re rusting real bad and I’m about to swap em…for the price I guess I got my moneys worth, but they don’t hold up like the higher end brands!
Thanks Nitro!!! I am shopping for a used Tundra now… was going to try and stay at ‘18 or older for this reason but this gives me confidence to look newer and get this corrected. One question though… is there a way to have a permanent gauge that is hard wired in and mounted on my dashboard? Do you ( or anyone know what I would need to do for that?) I would like to keep constant monitoring without taking over my phone…. Just wondering? Thanks again for such an informative video!!! And… fish on!!!
Hey Danny!...thank you, I appreciate the feedback!...that's an excellent question, and I'm honestly not sure...hopefully someone can chime in for ya...I would imagine there would be a way to rig one up but that's something I never even thought of!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Hey maybe Nick might know … oh and how does your phone through the app actually “pick up” the temperature? I can’t figure that one out.
I towed 6k the other day for 45 minutes in the transmission temp was 238. Outside temperature was in low 60’s, so I’m sure it would be over 250 in the summer. Just ordered and will do transmission fluid change with AMSOIL ATF.
Amsoil is some top shelf oils, I’ve been using it in lawn equipment and my diesel and gas trucks. Here’s how good amsoil synthetic is, I bought a new blower and it wants me to run 32:1 mix ratio, with amsoil Sabre I’m mixing 100:1, 1.5 ounces of oil per gallon.
Howdy. I'm in the middle of my install. I'm probably over thinking this. I assume the cooler is itself doesn't have a flow direction. Meaning. Fluid coming in and Fluid coming out could go either way. I'm pondering something.
Thanks so much for a well made video. I would have never figured out setting up the PID's. One question someone may be able to help me with. How can I adjust the voltage readout? It's off by a full volt and I have verified this by three different meters.
Hey Aaron, glad the video helped out!…my pan temps never get over 200, even when towing…such an awesome improvement over what I was seeing before install!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Success! Installed today. Twisting the hard line into place just took a few minutes but your video was clear and really helped explain that part. Good Morning about to order a kit, how has the temps been now that the kit has been installed and your towing? Also would the temperature drop to low during the cold winter months when not towing?
Hello!…temps are much improved, way better…even with towing they’re 20-30+ degrees cooler than what I was seeing before the install…I’m going to do a follow up video in the near future showing the temps while I’m towing the boat, I’m 100% satisfied and definitely happy I installed this kit!…hope that helps!
I commend you on your amazing tutorial! Well done! I'm debating on purchasing a Toyota Tundra and was concerned about the new models not having a transmission cooler. One question, does your trans. Temp get up to design specs? I have talked with a few Toyota master mechanics, they stressed it is important to get the transmission temp up to temp.
Thanks Jason, I appreciate that!…pan temps get up to low-mid 190’s, but haven’t gone over 200 once that I’ve noticed...so they’re just about perfect for me...thanks for watching!

Great Video. It was only now that I realized there is NO trans cooler on my 2020 Toyota Tundra. My Q is I'm about to buy a Supercharger and the intercooler has to be mounted in the area where the trans cooler is, can this be accomplished? I realize my mechanic and I will have to get really creative. What are your thoughts on this???
Thanks Louis, I appreciate that!...and that’s a great question, I’m honestly not sure...I’m also considering a SC and never thought of that, if you don’t mind, keep me posted on how you make out with that...I’d love to hear how you mount the intercooler!... thanks for watching!
I wonder if you could have filled the cooler with ATF before you connected the hoses, i thought you needed to connect the lines facing sideways. i wonder if the position of the lines in matters ? nice video thanks !
Thank you!...I’m not sure about filling it before connecting hoses, I’ve never seen that done before...and for the position, you may be able to go sideways as well, most mount them in this orientation though...thanks for watching!
@@NitroZ18Fishing yeah it sorta primes it so you don't have to add as much to the tranny to fill it, i ordered the OEM Toyota cooler part just now, with tranny fluid it was $300 and another $100 for hose and Hayden #689 cooler so my total was $400 to do the job, of course i don't have hard lines, grommets and abrasion sleeves but for a few more bucks i can buy that stuff too and be under $ 700, got a 2020 crew max

Clarification please. What cycles the fluid into the cooler and where is the air going? Is that what is pushing out the excess fluid when you are draining at the end, as the air comes back front the cooler? It's then a closed system again once you pull the pin till it reaches what temp for the thermostat to open? Great video by the way. Looks like my brother and I could tackle this project on my 2019 TRD.
Hey Sean!… yes sir, that is the very last step that you do… After checking for leaks and everything… I apologize, I should have shown that in the video but I made a note of it in the information section below… Hope that helps!

Great video love your Tundra, I just subscribe and like your video. I have a question which one is the cooler line that goes back to the transmission is at the bottom of the radiator
This was an excellent video. Great job! Is there any advantage to filling the cooler with fluid prior to connecting the hoses? Might fill the system with fluid faster?
Thank you, I appreciate that!!...yea you can definitely do that, I just tried to follow the instructions given with the kit so it didn’t get confusing for anyone who purchases it...but that would absolutely work!
Yes sir, that’s the very last thing you should do...I pulled mine after testing it for leaks, so it was literally the very last step I took...should have shown that on the video, I apologize!
Great video. Thanks for taking your time and being very detailed. Probably going to order a kit in the spring. What were your transmission temps before and after install. Thanks.
Thank you!...before install I would see temps as high as 230+ in the pan when towing...now I haven’t seen anything above 205-210, when I’m not towing the pan never goes over 195...huge improvement...thanks for watching!
Excellent video Instruction sir. Were there 12 mm flange bolts in those 2 spots that can be reused to secure the hard lines or just empty threaded points? I've seen others that said they did it for only $400.00. Do you know if Toyota started using a better gasket sealant for the Cam Housing/Cam Towers on the 2019+ models. Many owners of older models are reporting leaks in those areas and I'm trying to find out if they have corrected the gasket maker in our models so that we don't have to worry about it down the road.
Thanks Dale, I appreciate it!...those 2 spots were just empty threaded holes, the flange bolts come in the kit from Nick...and yea there may be cheaper ways to do it, but his kits are worth every penny...the thermostat and Hayden 778 HD are $300 alone, not counting any other parts...love the fact that he uses as many OEM pieces as he does, and that Hayden is a great cooler!...I’m not too sure about those gaskets unfortunately, I’m sorry I can’t get ya an answer there!...thanks for watching!

I moved the thermostat pin so that gravity couldn't pull it out (I thought this was kind of weak.), but after reading the comments I am going to go pull it out. Can't wait to monitor temps the next time I pull our travel trailer. Guessing I won't see 263 F again!
Thanks Bryan, much appreciated!!...yea this kit makes a TON of difference in temps...I haven’t seen a pan temp above 200 yet, crazy what a difference!
Watched the video for the upgrade, subbed for you rescuing old blue 👍🏼
Thank you for the support, I appreciate it!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Nick got right back with me. If I would have found him sooner - no doubt I would have purchased the kit. I will get the price down a little but he has done all the homework and has quality parts and support. He is a sharp fella. Thanks, Jim
Yea he’s a great guy to work with, knows his stuff for sure!
Nitro, that was so detailed and informative, even I can do it. which I will, I ordered the kit this morning. I also tow a bass boat and other heavy things. peace of mind in these hot Alabama summers. Thank You very much for your time making this video.
Thanks for the feedback Mark!!...and I totally agree, I would rather have peace of mind especially when towing...if ya need anything with the install, don’t be afraid to reach out to me, thanks for watching!!
Thanks for the video - was very helpful and well done. Putting the hoses on the thermostat before installing it was a very good tip.
Thanks Scott!...yea that definitely makes life a lot easier, thanks for watching!
That is a professional install! Nice work.
Wow you really put this together well. I got a 2020 Tundra and plan to add this after my warranty is up . I'm not towing anything at the moment but want the transmission to go the distance running cooler not frying up components.
thanks Joe, much appreciated!!...thanks for watching!!
When you put transmission cooler, does it increase your car oil transmission consumption? ? How many litres increase when you re-fill?
Great video Sir! I just installed my kit from Nick today. Very easy and straightforward after watching your video. Keep up the awesome content! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the feedback Ken!…glad it helped ya out!
Really well done video. Thanks for putting this together!
thanks Steve, I appreciate it!!...thanks for watching!!
I've got the Stillen Kit. With the Stillen kit you can run the cooler hoses through the cut out. That's what I did with mine.
I actually thought about doing that, it’s a great idea!… Thanks for watching!
Tundra specific kit?
Awesome step-by-step instructions!!!! Very honest and knowledgeable guy!!!!!
Thank you, I greatly appreciate that!!
I just bought a 2020 platinum and this will be a must do mod. Great diy!! Thank you!!
No prob, thanks for checking it out!!…good luck with the new truck!!
Got the same kit, Do not tow much but want this truck to last. Great kit as most of it is factory and his mounts are perfect!
Yes sir, he definitely puts a nice kit together!...thanks for watching!
@@NitroZ18Fishing thank you! Will do
I have a 2010 Tundra 4.6 4x4 I noticed transmission temperatures as high as 260 degrees while towing small boat and averaged 215 -225 degrees during regular driving around town by myself.
Absolutely!!…makes no sense to me why they would remove it, it’s not even that expensive of a part!…thanks for watching!
Love video. I done same setup as your. I highly recommended put electric fan mount transmission cooler front. I put fan switch and scanguage2 monitor temp. This has help when I'm pulling my RV trailer.
Thanks Marc!...and ok awesome, I’ll check into that, I appreciate it!
Or if you know you're going to be in hot weather and towing heavy ...just pin the thermostat open and your temps will never go above 200...I watch a video of a guy to left his pinned open in hot weather and it stayed at 165.
Another outstanding and informative video. Thanks for the info. Go Blue!
Thanks Terry, much appreciated!!...and he’s definitely my side kick, he’ll be making appearances on future videos I’m sure!
Nice!…I considered re-gearing but just never had it done…I kinda wish I did to be honest…thanks for watching!
Thanks for the helpful video. You earned a new subscriber.
This video was the best keep up the great job so we’ll explained …awesome video
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!!
I’d have to imagine the transmission temps would be higher on a 80-90 degree day.
thanks for the feedback Michael!...totally agree, this is one mod I highly recommend on our Tundras!
That I got to spend a grand to have this installed burns me to no end. Great video. Love my '19. HATE Toyota for this move.
Thanks Rick!...and I totally agree, it’s crazy to me that they removed this after all the years of including it...makes no sense...thanks for watching!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Oh it makes sense to the accountants running Toyota. Multiply the cost of all those coolers being deleted and add that to all the transmissions they will get to repair =$$$$$$$
hate to agree with ya on this, but it def doesn't add up any other way!
Thank you sir for all the information. You got yourself a new subscriber.
Thanks man, greatly appreciated!!...thanks for following along!!
Nice video. I have an 2018 tundra . But this answers a lot of questions for folks
Thanks man, I appreciate it!
Great video. Very detailed. Sat and watched the whole thing and I don’t even own a Tundra. Lol. I drive a Camry. Left you a like. Great job.
Thanks man, I appreciate that!!...glad someone doesn’t find me too boring...lol!...thanks for watching!
Awesome dude. Toyota Tundra one badass truck on planet Earth
Thanks man!...and yes sir, agreed...my favorite pick up out there for sure!
Hey I know u posted this a long time ago. I’m looking for the part number for the metal trans lines.
Wouldn’t this void the warranty if installed at home? I just got a 2019 tundra
When do you pull the pin?
Can I just fill the cooler with fluid before before I put the lines on the cooler its self? Nice work.
I towed 6k the other day for 45 minutes in the transmission temp was 238. Outside temperature was in low 60’s, so I’m sure it would be over 250 in the summer. Just ordered and will do transmission fluid change with AMSOIL ATF.
Yea the temps without a cooler are way too high for me, this was a no brainer!...well worth it, thanks for watching!
Hello!
Thanks for such detailed video!
Does tour set up is still working good?
Did face with any issues?
Thanks for your response!
Hey! Yepper, that setup worked right up until the day I sold the truck, I never had any issues at all. And my temps were MUCH better. Hope that helps!
Can I order just the hard lines?
Howdy. I'm in the middle of my install. I'm probably over thinking this. I assume the cooler is itself doesn't have a flow direction. Meaning. Fluid coming in and Fluid coming out could go either way. I'm pondering something.
Hey John!…that’s correct, on the cooler I installed the flow didn’t matter…hope that helps!
As soon as the oil hit your Apple Watch I freaked out....lol.
Hahahaha....my wife always yells at me to take it off when I’m workin on the truck...You can see how much I listen 🤣
Great job. Thanks for sharing info.
No prob, thank you for watching!!
Is there a link that you could put down for Nick's cooler for me to order
Excellent excellent video. Thanks for the work on this.

Thanks so much for a well made video. I would have never figured out setting up the PID's. One question someone may be able to help me with. How can I adjust the voltage readout? It's off by a full volt and I have verified this by three different meters.
Well I finally got around to installing the transmission cooler. Thanks for the good video. What kind of temps are you at when towing?
Hey Aaron, glad the video helped out!…my pan temps never get over 200, even when towing…such an awesome improvement over what I was seeing before install!
Thank you for the video. Kit ordered from Nick.
no prob, thanks for watching David!!
@@NitroZ18Fishing Success! Installed today. Twisting the hard line into place just took a few minutes but your video was clear and really helped explain that part. Attaching the 2 hoses at the front to the hard line was a fight, that was the most difficult part. Still can’t believe they removed this but even left the bracket near the warmer for the hoses. Thanks again for the video.
awesome, glad to hear it man!...yea getting them hoses on to the hard lines in the front was no picnic...haha...thanks again for watching!!
Stellar job on this video, Great job. Thanks
Thanks man, I appreciate that!!
do you run the engine with the thermostat pinned to fill cooler prior to opening overflow?
What do you mean remove pin from the thermostat an how much was your bed liner mine is sprayed by I wanna carpet over it the tail gate is getting attached an yours covers it nicely thanks for the quick response loving the tundra videos about to do trd exhaust on my 2021
That small pin that I show earlier in the video on the thermostat needs to be removed as the final step of the entire process… My bed cover is called the bed rug, I want to say I paid somewhere around $400 for it… I love it, I’ve had it on all three of my tundras… Easy to clean and keeps the bed from getting scratched up at all… Thanks for checking out the videos!
What happened to the company? Everything sold out do you have all part numbers?
Is this only for the 5.7 engine? I have a 2019 with the 4.6 and I tow an Rv this would be helpful. Great video thanks
And nothing to worry about during winter, thermostat won’t open unless it needs to so temps will be all good!
@@NitroZ18Fishing thank You I installed the kit also a week ago so far so good
Good to hear!…sorry it took me so long to get back to ya, trying to catch up on the comments…haha…let me know if I can help at all!
Thanks for sharing this information.
No prob, thanks for watching Steve!!
Thanks Jason, I appreciate that!…pan temps get up to low-mid 190’s, but haven’t gone over 200 once that I’ve noticed...so they’re just about perfect for me...thanks for watching!
did I miss it? When (if ever) is the "pin" pulled on the thermostat?
Great video guy, just curious what interval are you changing your transmission oil? I have about 43K and I wish I had known about this earlier.
Thanks man, I appreciate it!...so much info out there about when to change transmission fluid, but I plan on doing mine between 30-40k, mainly because I tow somewhat frequently
Man that is a killer video. Great job👍👍👍👍 i need this for my 2020 platinum too.
Thanks brother!!... I definitely recommend it for sure… He puts some awesome kits together for us… I believe he sold out after I made the video but shoot him an email, he’s taking orders for when it’s back in stock
Yeah I just checked and I saw he is sold out. I will have to hit him up.
Hey do you notice any performance differences other than cooler trans temps with the cooler installed?
haven't really noticed too much with performance gains, but temps are MUCH better...highest I've seen since install is 192 in the pan, huge improvement...it can only help for sure!
Maybe I missed it, but I assume you had the truck perfectly level because of the trans oil check near the end of the video? A great very detailed video........Thanks a Bunch!
Yes sir, I mention it in the beginning about the truck needing to be level from front to back, side to side...I got lucky with my garage floor, my truck sat perfectly for me to do the job without any issues!... thanks for watching!
Why do you need an OBD reader to monitor temp pan? You can use a scanner + temp gun right? Correct if I’m wrong
No sir, you’re correct!...if you have a temp gun you can absolutely use that, thanks for watching!
super nice and informative video ... i watched the entire video, and i dont even own a Tundra .. :)
Thanks so much, I appreciate that!!
@@NitroZ18Fishing yeah it sorta primes it so you don't have to add as much to the tranny to fill it, i ordered the OEM Toyota cooler part just now, with tranny fluid it was $300 and another $100 for hose and Hayden #689 cooler so my total was $400 to do the job, of course i don't have hard lines, grommets and abrasion sleeves but for a few more bucks i can buy that stuff too and be under $ 700, got a 2020 crew max
nice!...yea it's definitely worth adding, no matter what route ya go...thanks again for watching!
Are u an aircraft A/P mech. You said adel clamps, have not heard that in a long time, good job installing cooler, thx. Matt
Thanks Matt!… I appreciate it!… And no, believe it or not I’m actually a registered nurse… My truck and boat are my hobbies on the side, I’m always tinkering with something or doing some kind of modification… Keeps me busy and out of trouble with the wife 🤣...Thanks for watching!
@Nitroz18 Fishing - hey question for you did you remove the pin on the transmission thermostat or leave it on?
Hey Sean!… yes sir, that is the very last step that you do… After checking for leaks and everything… I apologize, I should have shown that in the video but I made a note of it in the information section below… Hope that helps!
Amazing Video, Super Helpful!!
The 12mm Flange Bolts for the Hard lines. Is 12mm the Head size or thread size? I need to purchase these separately...

Hi curious where does the hoses from the heat exchanger run to do they run to the heater core just curious on the original set up
Great video love your Tundra, I just subscribe and like your video. I have a question which one is the cooler line that goes back to the transmission is at the bottom of the radiator
Thanks Tony, much appreciated!!...if I remember correctly the return hose is the one on bottom...but let me verify that for ya just to be sure!
@@NitroZ18Fishing yes your right I felt the upper hose and it was hot. I tap it into the lower hose. Thanks again
How do you add your own dashboards for the ATF pan and the torque converter? Do not understand.
Did you pull the pin out of the thermostat?
Yes sir, that’s the very last thing you should do...I pulled mine after testing it for leaks, so it was literally the very last step I took...should have shown that on the video, I apologize!
I gave you a thumbs up just for the dog!
Hahaha...thank you!...he’s my right hand man!
@@NitroZ18Fishing were you in 4th gear or in 5th or 6th?
@@NitroZ18Fishing I'm thinking about this kit also. If I hear anything about that issue reference 2020 models I be sure to let you know.
perfect, thanks!...I appreciate it!
@@NitroZ18Fishing I've decieded to order one of his Kits ...just 1 question....do you actually have to remove the Skid plate to run those lines? I have the TRD PRO skid plate.
@@NitroZ18Fishing Installed my kit and I went with the "Setrab" option. When not towing even on 93 degree days I have not seen my pan temps go above 200 degrees. My torque converter temps have crested above 200 under longer acceleration but never stay there long.
how is your transmission cooler working and did you ever have any leaks?
It’s awesome, temps are WAY better for sure…no leaks or issues, I would recommend this to anyone who tows without a doubt!
