Help! So I did everything you did in the video. It worked yesterday, no crashes at all! But today when I used my PC again, I started crashing everytime I play roblox. So could you or anyone else help please? It was working just fine then started crashing again
Resetting the drivers also help to reset the computer to 1920 x 1080 / native resolution of monitor if you are having issues with the error when changing custom res.
after installing and restarting my device i came back here just to say thanks ...actually i got the error 0X0003 and errors like "something went wrong try rebooting your pc" .... been searching for the solutions but couldnt find one...but atlast this one solved my life problems...once again thanks mate
I was so happy that this works just fine with my laptop! I thought I broke it for some reasons and gladly found this video and fix everything. Keep up the good work man you deserve this positive comment 👍
Dude, you honestly saved me from smashing my laptop to smithereens, I've been having this stupid issues when I install the latest Nvidia Drivers my laptop screen will dim and I can't for the love of me get the brightness back up. This Worked on the first try! YOu are Awesome!
I was about to throw my rig into the street out of frustration... I just finished a build about a week ago and all of a sudden today I was getting booted from every game I'd attempt to play. Nothing I did would fix the problem. Turns out all I needed was DDU. I have an rx580 and ryzen rig. It worked mint, thanks!
Not getting a signal with a working DVI cable and monitor. It works perfectly but when I install the nvidia drivers I don’t get any signal. Also when I boot the computer up I can see everything until past BIOS. (HDMI works) Any help?
It didn't work for me it failed in the beginning where it install the graphic thing (sry for my english) than it says not installed Not installed Not installed Failed Not installed Can you please help me
This combined with enabling XMP in bios secured me from crashing in my games, i cant stress how much this guide helped me fix my issue. i have had so many wierd errors i just couldent fix myself, i normally fix things easily because of my background as an IT-technician but i had no idea that DDU existed and man im glad i found this tool by watching your video So thanks !
I HAVE BEEN RESEARCHING ABOUT THIS ISSUE FOR A MONTH NOW THE ROOT OF THE ISSUE IS THAT. EVERYTIME YOU TRY TO INSTALL NVIDIA DRIVER GO TO TASK MANAGER AND YOU WILL SEE NVIDIA DRIVER ALWAYS RUNS IN 32-BIT BUT THE WINDOWS 10 IS 64-BIT. THIS CREATES THE INCOMPATIBILITY ISSUE
Thanks worked! It failed on GeForce experience and some other useless thing, but my laptop video card is back. I had the "the nivida card can not be ejected or unplugged" after trying to use my elgato and plugging it into a different usb than my usual. Now everything works fine and I'm streaming again. (Alienware 13 notebook, nividia GeForce GT 750m 1 gb. Windows 7 64bit)
I was struggling to install my driver for quite a while now. searched all sorts of forums, but nothing worked. almost gave up. tried your method and it worked. thanks. I almost reinstalled my operating system.
THANK YOUUUU!!!! I spent like 6 hrs trying to get my driver to install and I kept getting an error during install process saying the driver install failed!!! After I ran the Display Driver Uninstaller and restarted then tried again, it worked like a charm! You deserve gold dude, and this is youtube.
I updated to the newest driver and the HD Audio Driver + PhysX would fail to install for some reason. I was trying to solve this problem for hours. Tried so many things and thank goodness, your solution was the only one that worked. Thank you so much.
Have been reseting my laptop til it crashed. Had to reinstall using usb installation media and laptop has been running on microsoft display graphics. Now running nvidia again thanks to you. Hopefully it will be fine once updates restarts laptop again
After using DDU, and trying to reinstall the latest Nvidia driver for my 1050ti, it always get stuck on Checking System Compatibility. Did this on both normal and safe mode.
A little trick for you..go to Device manager uninstal any display drivers you have there.. then right click on your winows user and select "scan for device changes" that should reinstall your drivers without any issue works every time for me..gl.
I want to try this. The problem with my drivers is every time i try to download the newest driver it says HD audio 1.3.38.21 failed Can this by any chance fix this.
Thx mate It seems to solved my prblm 4 now of my driver not showing anymore after a recent Nvidia update I had to go thru this process of clean uninstall N to reinstall the previous version of Nvidia driver (417.22) I have to start my laptop (a MSI Prestige) in single screen mode before switching to dual screen mode in order to have the my GeForce GTX960M graphic card working very smoothly N not freezing the cursor continuously A very nice job :)
i get all the way to Nvidia scan and it says "this graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware" Very frustrating. brand new pc. would appreciate help.
In the end i just unistall it and reinstall previous driver and work well.. disable auto update would be works perfect too.. seems like its a registry problem
Mine I did a clean format on my computer, runs fine at first then after I update graphics driver from device manager I get all these lines and little boxes on my screen when I restart
Great link. Thanks for that. I'm having an issue installing a EVGA GTX 1060 SC on my Dell 8700. I have enough in PSU - now checking to see if its a true driver issue. Will follow up!
Let me preface this by saying that I am running windows 10 64x and using a gtx 1060 So, I just attempted this method and none of my problems were fixed. The main issue I was having was my max resolution being set to 1600x1200, and that the NVIDIA control panel wasn't appearing in the hidden icons menu on the taskbar, and when I tried to open it through the control panel, it wouldn't budge. This method did not fix that. Another issue I was having was that in the device manager, my card had the code 43 issue. This wasn't fixed either. I have been trying to get this working for 3 days now and I'm considering getting rid of my card, because nothing I have tried has worked to fix any of these.
Code 43 is normally an issue not caused by drivers. It could either be a dying card, a dead card with no image, or a card that needs it's BIOS updating
Yes i would also like to add that i believe my problem in end was a fault with my GTX 780 card as it started having lines going through the screen. put new GTX 1060 in there it worked and error was gone.
looked through tons of complicated videos making me do crazy stuff that was hard to follow. watched this video and you fixed everything. thank you so much man!
Just added a 50Ti to my Win 7 Pro for 4k video editing. Supposedly everything went perfectly. I began editing with 4k video direct from a mini SD card. Results - same as before. No improvement whatsoever. Still jerky, aliased video, like the card had no effect even though it said it loaded successfully with driver. Thank you for your videos!
then your graphics card is most likely to old for the nvidia drivers (remember nvidia drivers are only for nvidia cards amd card have there own software)
The Distance that was made in 2012 so it’s pretty old have you tried the older drivers? Click on the link and choose the card you have :) www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-in
So, my issue is that yesterday (less than 24 hours ago), I was running video games just fine on high settings (ex: Forza Horizon 4 on Ultra/Extreme settings). Today, I got on my laptop (Acer Predator Helios 300) and tried to run the same games. But, I couldn't get any more than 20 FPS. The only thing I did before playing anything was update my graphics driver, which I've done multiple times in the past without any issues. My computer said that the GPU was running at 100% during the game-play. But, the frame rate was terrible. Yesterday, I could get a solid 60 FPS only using 70%-80% of the GPU. Now, like I said, it's only giving me 20 FPS on 100% GPU usage. I checked task manager for any background applications that might be causing the issue, but there was none. I tried restarting my computer, and reinstalling the driver (clean, custom installation), but that didn't change anything. Could you help me out? Thanks in advance man.
I have the similiar problem with my laptop asus rog strix, when I was playin overwatch I had 120fps with my gtx 1060, but now it stays at around 60-70 and only thing I did before that hapeened was that I installed drivers
Dude this helped, i had tried everything, changing power optimisation, undervolting my cpu, overclocking my gpu, everything. This boosted my frames from 100 to 250 without anything changed, thanks a ton.
I've had the issue in the past where squares will randomly flicker on the screen. I ran DDu and it worked. Come 2018, I have the same issue. I ran DDu and did a clean install of the drivers, but this time the issue still occurs...
VictorTheLama i thought so. Re installing my audio interface drivers seemed to switch my screen back to normal. But it still keeps crashing. And now after updating my nvidia drivers manually even re installing my audio interface drivers doesnt help
I can see that I have access to the NVIDIA control panel but am not able to access it it says ":NVIDIA Driver is not installed on your system" but it is and I can see it on my desktop when I right click. The Geforce experience works fine too. I have tried everything including uninstalling and reinstalling the control panel from microsoft store. Please help!
I didn't want to waste another 500.- (Equivalent to about probably $15) and you literally did save my PC and taught me to help myself. Thank you dude, liked and subbed.
Man I uninstalled my Nvidia drivers from Device manager & then downloaded the latest drivers for my 820m geforce & tried installing but it won't verify on 1st step show Compatible hardware not found & Windows version isn't supported even when on Nvidia site it say it does. Pls help , the problem is in 1st step of Installation, it say cannot continue :- hardware not compatible :- windows not compatible
Fuck Nvidia , I uninstalled the latest & is using old version , works fine & Nvidia control panel opens now , which wasn't opening in the latest version.
I hope it works. I've been playing Grand Theft Auto then i noticed that it unlike froze/crashed my pc. I hope this works man, anways sub for you. Your'e a good man.
Hey man I have a problem, when I do everything as you said, I get error while system check, it says drivers are not compatible with my version of windows, but I'm 100% sure that I installed the right version...
If you can't find your specific graphics driver in nVidia's website, you can find it in the driver section of your actual computer Brand's website like Dell, Lenevo, HP, etc.
hi robo, i have a GTX 780 and recently while i was watching youtube my screen just went black and my monitor shows "no signal" error..after forced restart my pc the display came out ok but when i go to the control panel>display error code 43 was there. tried to installed the latest driver but everytime the screen went black during the installation. appreciate if you could help me on this..
I have a similar issue. My computer is brand new, got it configured this summer. I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 and, ONLY after I rebooted my computer I get an issue on UA-cam sometimes. After putting it in sleepmode and waking it up again, the issue seems to ge gone! Like I said, only happens after booting it. First the computer freezes for a few seconds and my screen turns black, and I either an error message on the video , or the video goes green and it gets the loading symbol, and I sometimes have to refresh the page. Sometimes I get laggs with the sound from the video. Sometimes I get the black screen when UA-cam is not the active tab.
DDU isn't cleaning out everything. There must be some deeper Nvidia automation occurring since the older version kept reinstalling and appearing in "Uninstall Programs" list. The 3D Vision thing was especially aggressive. Here are the steps I had to take to get a clean uninstall, which involves a OS restart every time the computer prompts to do it: - Download the updated GPU drivers and have them ready for installing later in the process. - Disconnect from the internet - Run the DDU (with the following steps I'm not sure if this step is necessary, but did it anyway...). - Go into the "Uninstall Programs" list and uninstall all things Nvidia. - Go into the Device Manager, bring up the GPU properties and uninstall the device. - Delete all files & folders Nvidia (this includes the start menu and program file folders). - Restart Windows - Double check that all folders and files are still gone. The GPU should read as a generic device in the device manager. - Install the new drivers Roll eyes, move on....
Did this method and I'm still getting a black screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled these drivers like 100 different times now (express and custom). I can't figure out whats wrong someone please help!
running windows 10? follow this if you have a graphics card that is not intel and are running windows 10: Download the driver, save to desktop Go to Microsoft and download the Show / Hide tool., save to desktop Download DDU: Install Have it reboot in to Safe mode (Windows 10 hold shift and choose restart) Run DDU if it does not auto start Select: NVIDIA software and Drivers Select: Clean and Restart Run the Microsoft Show / Hide tool. Hide anything nvidia or windows will install it and it will not work Run Driver DOWNLOAD package you saved to desktop Select: CUSTOM Uncheck EVERYTHING excpet the GPU Driver and PHYSX Check the CLEAN INSTALL box Finish install Reboot
Mine is crashes whenever I tried to latest driver version of nvidia. I'm using gtx 960 4gb. When I try to update, it crashes and it keeps restarting with stop code system_thread_exception_not_handled. How should I fix it? :(
I'm baffled: I bought new GTX 1080ti. I can load up the bios on my g-sync monitor fine...attempts to boot into windows 7 yet get "no signal." I also noticed that whilst in bios; I just turn off then on the monitor...NO SIGNAL!? I will give your advice a go though WATCH THIS SPACE... SOLVED: It's the GSYNC. It only works for the displayport than HDMI. I noticed it requires a "waking up" to be detected. So you turn off the system BEFORE connecting both the HDMI and displayport cables. My monitor allows me to change between the two so begin with HDMI. Turn the computer on and then switch from HDMI to Displayport anytime AFTER the bios screen. PRESTO! GSYNC is detected ☺☺☺☺
So good pro tip to try before deleting your archived versions of your drivers is to just roll back the driver. My issue is that the latest driver is incompatible with the current version of windows and I cannot redownload the previous version of the nvidia drivers because I followed these steps and deleted the archives. I now have no fix, and must wait for a patch. Not knocking your video but be smart about the issue and try rolling back first.
HELP!!! when I restarted with ddu my screen just went black and eventhough the computer is on nothing pops up on the screen and my monitor does not detect it, I tried switching the monitor with another one even and it still doesn't work then I forced my pc to shut down (maybe I shouldn't have done that) but when I try to turn it on again I get the same problem, the pc is on but the monitor doesn't work
Dinis Ferreira try unplugging the power cable for a bit and you could re seat the RAM too. I have a dual CPU so I had to take one out for it to boot up again.
Can someone help me please? This is the problem that i have: When i install the driver that i need with the right OS and stuff, it tells me this ' This graphic could not find compatible graphic hardware.' Can anyone please help me with this problem? Thankyou.

i really, really need help, i did everthing you said, but my screen just went black, i flipped out and plugged out the power cable (probably a bad idea), i boot it up again, i see the msi logo and it loads, my screen goes black, and a few seconds later i see a msi logo but its all messed up and glitchy, after that my screen goes black again and switches to analog to hdmi... for ever?! Heeeelp????
I have a problem. When I reinstall my drivers with this method all my games have a boost performance but after i shut my pc down or restart it any game i want to play has very bad framerates. Example: csgo 200-300fps and after i shut my pc down and open it again i have around 50-60fps. Every time when i boot the pc I need to reinstall the drivers to play the games properly
I updated windows and no longer have the problem. The thing in csgo with fps_max 500 or fps_max 0 does not work with this problem I think it was something else that stoped the framerates at around 50-60. Try update the windows guys after u reinstall drivers
Beware. Most recent DCH drivers no longer include the Nvidia control panel. You have to download that from the MS store (good luck with that). Or you can search for the 'standard' driver from Nvidia and that includes the control panel. Still I did all of this and can't get my Nvidia surround to work. It does all sorts of crazy $hit with the resolutions. So no gaming for me it would seem. Literally no fix that I can find.. Good luck.
Same here, cleaned with DDU first then downloaded the update posted yesterday straight from sight, been working on this for 6 hours, am just about done. Wanting to throw my laptop into the street. It has been pulling some weird madness for about 5 days, code 43 for 2 days now. Ran virus scan, fixed other issues. Losing hope and patience. :(
I can get through the whole thing except as soon as I try to install the driver I get sent to my desktop after a few seconds of it installing. I can’t do anything on this screen it’s literally just my wallpaper. If I try to restart it just sends me to a black screen. Does anybody have any ideas?
I tried to install a new updated version of my graphics driver and my games on steam are still crashing and valorant says that my graphics card is not up to date. I do not know what to do it has been like this for almost a week.
My CPU is an I5 9400f, it doesn't have integrated graphics, so i need my graphics card to be able to see. If i wipe clean the video drivers and reboot the computer won't it have problems with the image?
You didn't clarify that this was a MANUAL UPDATE, not an actual solution to those having issues with the initial installation right after formatting the PC
Thanks....Thanks and a million more thanks.... after a month of trying everything to update my video card driver I was able to after using the DDU program. Thanks Again.
great video! I have also been struggling with the issues of geforce not working or you forcing it to open but doesn't recognize the rig. I can confirm by downloading the cleaner and performing a clean install solves this problem. for reference im running nvidia gtx 1050 on a dell xps 15 9560. Thanks for the troubleshoot!
ty so much dude. I did a reset on my laptop but then nvidia control panel wouldnt open and error shows up in services. but following your guide fixed everything :D
I've never had any problems with any of my Nvidia cards when updating them through Geforce Experience. I always tell GE to perform a clean install instead of an overlap install. That's pretty much all DDU does. I've also never had any issues rolling back drivers that were installed by GE. Whenever you overlap install anything you most likely will have issues with ANY program.
I’ve just finished a build and have been going insane trying to figure out what’s wrong. I’m going to delete GeForce experience after I get home tonight and re install the drivers again, to see if this fixes my issues. My machine is: Ryzen R9 3900x ROG strix x570-e motherboard Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER 128Gb DDR4 Acer predator xb273k gpbmiipprzx monitor My issue is that when running the monitor at 4K/144hz (which uses two DP cables) I keep getting a random “no signal” black screen. I’ve had to hard shutdown and reboot every time to get my screen to re-appear. This has happened once I realized I wasn’t getting 4K/144Hz with only 1 cable and I read into my monitor’s user manual that specifically states you MUST use two DP cables to achieve the 4K/144Hz settings, if you only use one, you are throttled to only 120Hz. I want to run at the monitor at its full potential with this graphics card, ive tried so many troubleshooting tips with the same persistent outcome. I’ve also gotten the same “no signal” after the computer and monitor go to sleep. When I wake the computer by wiggling my mouse, the cpu wakes up fine, and the screen states “no signal” If anyone else has some ideas, I would so welcome the help! This has made my new amazing machine, very frustrating. Thanks in advance!
Hey I know this is a pretty old video, but I wanted to tell you thank you for helping me out I couldn't find any video figuring out the situation so I really appreciate this video. Got a new sub here!
youre amazing bro you deserve the like because i have been trying to fix this issue for many months 2 to be exact or more but anyways a good luck and all the best with your channel
Nope, didn't help. Still got a code 43 error on my 1050 Ti. I had been using an older driver for my card, but Windows updated (much to my annoyance) and old driver no longer compatible and now I have this error, meaning my dual displays, that I use for Video editing no longer work. This means that I can no longer work.
Let me know if you have any issues and I'll try to help everyone. Busy during the day though so I'm a little slow to respond!! Thank you all for watching all these years!

this might be the first time a youtube video about fixing something actually works, thank you so much
Perfect! thank you so much!!!
If it will again say not compatible with hardware then what to do ?
then your graphics card is most likely to old for the nvidia drivers (remember nvidia drivers are only for nvidia cards amd card have there own software)
The Distance that was made in 2012 so it’s pretty old have you tried the older drivers?
Click on the link and choose the card you have :)

I have the similiar problem with my laptop asus rog strix, when I was playin overwatch I had 120fps with my gtx 1060, but now it stays at around 60-70 and only thing I did before that hapeened was that I installed drivers
when i tried to install the driver back it This Graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware???
Mine says the same.
same here. Any solutions?
@@silentmessiah1 Nah,
did you choose the right hardware? :P
I ran DDu and did a clean install of the drivers, but this time the issue still occurs...
yes i have the same problem. have you found a fix yet?
Jarne Baugnée I literally gave up and played OSU (a dumb f2p rhythm game) and the issue went away. No idea how, but something happened lol
VictorTheLama btw did your pc screen change resolution after crashing a couple of times?
Jarne Baugnée it did, but that's because it switched to my integrated Graphics instead of running off my graphics card
Failed to install the driver
If you can't find your specific graphics driver in nVidia's website, you can find it in the driver section of your actual computer Brand's website like Dell, Lenevo, HP, etc.
hi robo, i have a GTX 780 and recently while i was watching youtube my screen just went black and my monitor shows "no signal" error..after forced restart my pc the display came out ok but when i go to the control panel>display error code 43 was there.
tried to installed the latest driver but everytime the screen went black during the installation.

im having the same problem with my gtx 780 too.. everytime i try to install the nvidia driver my screen goes black and pc shuts down..
Your card is dead.
Here are the steps I had to take to get a clean uninstall, which involves a OS restart every time the computer prompts to do it:
- Download the updated GPU drivers and have them ready for installing later in the process.
- Disconnect from the internet
- Run the DDU (with the following steps I'm not sure if this step is necessary, but did it anyway...).
- Go into the "Uninstall Programs" list and uninstall all things Nvidia.
- Go into the Device Manager, bring up the GPU properties and uninstall the device.
- Delete all files & folders Nvidia (this includes the start menu and program file folders).
- Restart Windows
- Double check that all folders and files are still gone. The GPU should read as a generic device in the device manager.
- Install the new drivers
Roll eyes, move on....
Did this method and I'm still getting a black screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled these drivers like 100 different times now (express and custom). I can't figure out whats wrong someone please help!
running windows 10? follow this if you have a graphics card that is not intel and are running windows 10:
Download the driver, save to desktop
Go to Microsoft and download the Show / Hide tool., save to desktop
Download DDU:
Install
Have it reboot in to Safe mode (Windows 10 hold shift and choose restart)
Run DDU if it does not auto start
Select: NVIDIA software and Drivers
Select: Clean and Restart
Run the Microsoft Show / Hide tool. Hide anything nvidia or windows will install it and it will not work
Run Driver DOWNLOAD package you saved to desktop
Select: CUSTOM
Uncheck EVERYTHING excpet the GPU Driver and PHYSX
Check the CLEAN INSTALL box
Finish install
Reboot

Mine is crashes whenever I tried to latest driver version of nvidia. I'm using gtx 960 4gb. When I try to update, it crashes and it keeps restarting with stop code system_thread_exception_not_handled. How should I fix it? :(
Vergel Adremesin the same thing happens to me I wish I knew how to fix it
@@StrikerL Maybe it's already a hardware defect :(
I'm baffled: I bought new GTX 1080ti.
HELP!!!
when I restarted with ddu my screen just went black and eventhough the computer is on nothing pops up on the screen and my monitor does not detect it, I tried switching the monitor with another one even and it still doesn't work then I forced my pc to shut down (maybe I shouldn't have done that) but when I try to turn it on again I get the same problem, the pc is on but the monitor doesn't work
Dinis Ferreira i have the exact same problem
Ok i have found the solution : u have to use a hdmi cabel

Ok man, you just helped me ALOT ! Thank you for this manual, one that actually helped me and fixed my problem.
I have a problem. When I reinstall my drivers with this method all my games have a boost performance but after i shut my pc down or restart it any game i want to play has very bad framerates. Example: csgo 200-300fps and after i shut my pc down and open it again i have around 50-60fps. Every time when i boot the pc I need to reinstall the drivers to play the games properly
voievodc bump
I would also like to know
On csgo put fps_max 500
I updated windows and no longer have the problem. The thing in csgo with fps_max 500 or fps_max 0 does not work with this problem I think it was something else that stoped the framerates at around 50-60. Try update the windows guys after u reinstall drivers
so you will have to mess around with the control panel to fix it or go on youtube and type Best Nvidia control panel settings for gaming
Good luck.
Code 43
Same here, cleaned with DDU first then downloaded the update posted yesterday straight from sight, been working on this for 6 hours, am just about done. Wanting to throw my laptop into the street. It has been pulling some weird madness for about 5 days, code 43 for 2 days now. Ran virus scan, fixed other issues. Losing hope and patience. :(
Any solutions to code 43?
Same here. Still can't fix it
thanks for this vid man!! spent over 3 hours to finding a solution and this finally works.
I can get through the whole thing except as soon as I try to install the driver I get sent to my desktop after a few seconds of it installing. I can’t do anything on this screen it’s literally just my wallpaper. If I try to restart it just sends me to a black screen. Does anybody have any ideas?
Thank you so much! You saved my sanity. I'm horrible with computers and I never thought I would fix whatever was wrong.
IT WORKED! THANK YOUU!! Now i can play games without driver crushes, you are the best!
great video! I have also been struggling with the issues of geforce not working or you forcing it to open but doesn't recognize the rig. I can confirm by downloading the cleaner and performing a clean install solves this problem. for reference im running nvidia gtx 1050 on a dell xps 15 9560. Thanks for the troubleshoot!
thank you for the help mate, havent been able to update the drivers since december 2018
ty so much dude.
My machine is:
Ryzen R9 3900x
ROG strix x570-e motherboard
Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER
128Gb DDR4
Acer predator xb273k gpbmiipprzx monitor
My issue is that when running the monitor at 4K/144hz (which uses two DP cables) I keep getting a random “no signal” black screen.
When I wake the computer by wiggling my mouse, the cpu wakes up fine, and the screen states “no signal”
If anyone else has some ideas, I would so welcome the help! This has made my new amazing machine, very frustrating. Thanks in advance!
Hey I know this is a pretty old video, but I wanted to tell you thank you for helping me out I couldn't find any video figuring out the situation so I really appreciate this video. Got a new sub here!
