You'll need to sika behind your aerial Bracket to make it watertight and dust proof. A sealed surface also helps with wind noise

Doing a great job you two. I have a moonlight airbox which is great. Just a pain having to buy wix filters from WA when I'm living in SA. I changed my vspeck to Armax aswell. Definitely a nice whistle after. I haven't watch all the vids yet but a Richards lock up kit is a great mod to look onto and trans tune. Probably a mod I would tell every 200 owner to do.

Have then 3D mats in my MUX that product is fantastic, cannot seem to wear the drivers side out, especially where your shoe heel keeps going on the mat. You should enjoy this mats.

Is the centre of the tyre still directly under the centre of your wheel bearings to avoid premature wear as the Toyota engineers design it?

Off road animal made awesome bumpers. A black one instead of the colour matched would look way cooler in my opinion. Anyway congrats. Love the 200 series, although I'm more an 80 series guy.

Larry is coming along nicely great work. Just one comment. I have my aerial on the side and it hits everything when off road. As a result I’ve broken a couple and vowed to never put one there again !

ROH do make some nice rims and piece of mind with that 3 year warranty on their finish. Regarding the “lifetime” warranty, just keep in mind that it’s the lifetime on the product, not the lifetime of the person buying the wheels 😉
Ford genuine parts got caught out years ago with that “lifetime” warranty on their parts and when people had parts fail after a couple of years and they took them back, Ford said “well that is the expected lifetime on that part, so they wouldn’t warrant the claims and many customers had to pay for replacement parts … so just be mindful of it.
But great stuff anyway bud, looks awesome !
And as for the name, I’d call it Johnnie ….. look in the shelf in the Background and you’ll see why 🤣👍👍

I have one of these The transmission programming is terrible. I installed a lock up kit which works great in 5th but does not help going into 6th. You need to go into manual mode to go into 6th properly. Get the transmission re programed

Question, I've ordered roh wheels for my 200, what did you use for wheel nuts? All the aftermarket ones don't have any where near as much clamping surface area at the OEM ones. Cant wait for our to arrive as part of our 4495kg gvm upgrade.

The bull bar is a amazing design so fresh and yes all the 3 lettered jobs are so boring and non innovative.
Cool update on the mirrors, yea nothing like fresh paint thinners and hardener coming out the spray gun always happy about that 😂
Love the rims I could not imagine what you would go for there, rims are like underwear its very personal cant go wrong with graphite, but I guessed the tyres spot on. You will not be disappointed the feed back is very positive.
Cant believe the type of mods needed to make your vehicle reliable its so poor.

Hi Guys, new subscriber here but I've been following you since you were in NZ but I view YT on my TV which I don't sign in on 🤐 . Love your work and video production skills so got a bit of liking to do while I'm on the PC !! It seems to me that if you want an LC and an Urban, you just need to follow your recipe of modifications and job will be right !.lots of discounts thanks to you guys as well ! If your thinking it might be overkill for NZ you'd be right ! I have family in NSW (Syd and Pottsville) and spent Xmas with them and was thinking about having an Apartment on the GC, but how good would an LC 300 (if I couldn't find a low K 200) and an Xtreme 20 be and I could be all over the place ! 🤔 It would be excellent if I could find as good a looking and skilled sandwich and cocktail maker as Sarah 😘Cheers Glen

I also have a LC200 VX and mine is 2019. Did you say these Ambush rims from ROH have no issue with the larger break calipers ? What about the 295/70/17 tires? No rubbing? Keen to go w a similar set but just wondering what your feedback so far?

Looking good SKT. Thought the mud tyres would be a bad choice due to noise & limited footprint on anything but a sloppy track. Happy for you to prove me wrong, I thought an all terrain would be a better choice.
Hey mate been running them on Percy the Prado for years and they are THE tyre in our opinion. Way thicker ply makes them tough to pop and a lot of the time a screw won’t be long enough to penetrate the tread blocks!!

200's rule we have been running a 200 for about six years it has been totally reliable nothing has broken Just a heads up the factory air filter elements are sub standard as well as the air boxes keep an eye out for dust getting though the element.

The wheels and tyres totally transformed it. I’ve got the same rims in all black but my Ute is dark grey. The colour you chose works perfectly with your light grey coloured vehicle. I’ve also got the Maxis tyres but in Razor AT. Such a good tyre. So quiet.

Awesome vehicle. The graphite does suite the car great choice. Don't forget to make it a habit to check your wheel nuts especially after rough tracks. Will you be upgrading your drive shafts due to the larger tires(increased stress could be an issue)

I’m still thinking I’ll tape something onto the back screen of my Prado (thinking about cutting an old cheap yoga mat to size actually), but am also going to invest in some Rock Stompers to limit the number of rocks flying around at the back.
