My one feedback I would give is that the best part about this is that it's a step by step guide with full screen sharing and I would highlight that in your title or in the description because that's what I found most helpful! I've seen a bunch of videos from others explaining the differences etc but yours takes it 1 step at a time and visually SO helpful so that might help others when they are searching for videos about it! Great job! Most importantly is that you do not get the exact time it says.. For example,, I chose 11:00 AM for Ratatouille and got 7:30 PM. I would also like to add that each park has people under a blue umbrella that can help you. They were a big help ! We were there 3 weeks ago and used the verbal hints that you gave on your live streams. Thanks so much.

Very informative. We are coming in May and I have heard this can be difficult to navigate. I have a question, say you have 2 or more people in your party can one purchase the individual lightning lane ride for the group while another orders the genie plus ride for the same group?
Thanks Josh! Great video and information! We were at WDW Feb 13-17. My daughter took care of Genie+ and scheduling, but I understand it better now. We would not have been able to do as many rides particularly at MK without it. And I was able to ride SDD at HS for the first time! So much fun. I will be re-watching this video before our next trip.

This is sure to be a great informative video. But the fact that it's needed shows how far from grace Disney has fallen. I feel for the elderly or those unable to use technology or keep up with the apps and phones. My Grandpa, even with this video probably wouldn't be able to figure it out. Its a totally unfair system to those people.

This is very helpful information presented in a step by step format. I used Genie plus during my trip last December and learned the hard way! There were CM at various locations in the parks( green umbrellas )to specifically assist with GP issues. Don’t know if they are still there since the system is older now.

I have an iphone 7 and I’m wondering if you know of any issues that may or have risen for ppl like me who don’t want to let fo of their tried and true old iphone. I will be at the parks next week and this will be my first time since fastpast days!! Any insight helps and thanks again!!

Josh…How were you able to stack 5 rides at Hollywood Studios using Genie+? What am I missing? As a resort guest, at 7am you can book your first one, lets say that’s Toy Story Mania at 5pm. Now you have to wait until 2 hours after the park opens to make your second reservation. For this example, HWS opens at 8:30am, that means I can book my second reservation at 10:30am. Let’s say I get that one for 5:30pm. Moving forward I have to wait 120 minutes after each reservation, so if I continue to stack my rides, I have to wait until 12:30pm, 2:30pm and 4:30pm, that’s how I potentially can stack 5 rides. Is this how you did it, or were you able to do it sooner? Please let me know. Thanks!

We did have problems with Genie plus because it wouldn't let us book another ride after our reserved ride but only at the two-hour mark instead. And we made sure to scan our magic bands twice in every line that we had a genie plus for. Hollywood Studios reimbursed us for our Genie plus and still gave us rides anytime during the day for our issues. It helped that I took lots of screenshots. The app just seems glitchy and they need to do a lot of work and it's not fun looking at your phone all day and setting an alarm every 2 hours to reserve rides. I'm not the biggest fan of this new process. LOL! 😉

That’s a great tip. They don’t reserve the times for you. They need to fix that. It’s insanely frustrating.
