Thank you! I just bought a Black Panther Magic Band+ today at Magic Kingdom. One thing that some people may not know is that they will still work for entry or Lightning Lane if they are not charged. They still have a radio frequency chip like you said. This is an excellent informative video!
Thanks for the video. 😊 I was so excited when I saw your Disneyland shirt because I thought they finally added opening up your hotel room and linking the Magic Band Plus to an Apple Watch, but they haven’t added those features yet. It’s a bummer. I know they are working on it, but they are not active yet. 😞
This was really informative! We just went to Disney World this summer and used our regular MagicBand. But the MagicBand+ sounds like another great option! I like that you can use it at Disneyland too. Thanks for sharing, Miranda! 💖
Thank you for explaining that! I talked with two Disney online chat things trying to figure out why I needed the magic band plus if I have the magic mobile, they really do not explain what extras you get that the magic mobile on your watch does versus doesn’t do.
If you’re staying on property, you can use it to unlock your resort hotel room and charge items back to your hotel room. MagicMobile does all of it except the payment back to the room. So basically it’s a convenient way for people to not have their phone out all the time
Thanks for this but it didn't answer the questions I was looking to answer. Eg. Can I use it to make purchases at other on-property resorts (other than my own)? Haven't been able to find definitive answers about that - they always talk about your own resort but many people choose to resort hop. Can I use it for all my on-property purchases and Disney transport on check-in and checkout days (ie before and after room access)? Again, I've seen a lot of vague answers about this and most deal with day of checkout, I've seen very little about day of check-in and mostly that it can be used for park entry (if linked), which can be done even if not staying on-property so I'm not seeing much extra value there
Going to Disney for the first time. If 2 adults are going do both parties need a magic band plus or can you use one for both of you. 2nd question if i may, does it charge the card that is associated with your my Disney experience app or how do you change the card you want it to charge for things?
We just booked Orlando for our Honeymoon in April 2025 💍🛩🎊 We plan to visit Disney World over the 3 week stay as much as possible, traveling from Ireland and are staying off property but I think for us it would make more sense to purchase the Magic Band Plus for the parks when we purchase our tickets. So we are at the planning stage and I loved your video, thank you for that information makes it easier to decide 💐
Congrats! That will be so fun! I stay off property often and still love wearing my MagicBand+ because of the fun interactive features! It’s also nice to not have my phone out ALL of the time!
I think you need to visit some of the UK Disney planning channels and websites. My understanding is they won't post the magicbands o/s and you can't make lightning lane bookings etc until your park day (by which time many are booked out). Have read a lot of frustrated posts. Best to sort this out before you buy
Where did you get the Key Chain one? So Cool!!! Your Video Is Great!!! I Love it!!!! ♥♥♥ How can you charge it? Is that keychain one for the Magic Band Plus or Magic Band 2? are they both the same size?
@@TheMagicalMiranda Yes!!! I Figured it was an old Model I found it on Walmart site. Shocking Walmart. I can't wait to get my Magic Band Plus one!!! Thank You So Much!!! Tons of Hugs to You!!!! Have a Wonderful Day!!!! Great Video!!!!
I'd like to know if it still works with all those beads. They're raised above the profile of the Mickey inset so that's going to hinder direct contact, and most tap technology requires that, but is that the case here? I don't know. Would be good to find out
Hi, thanks for the video very informative. Just wanted to clarify, if you are not staying at a Disney resort the Magic Band + won’t work to attach a debit/credit card to it?
Does every band automatically link to your debit card when you get them with your resort stay discounted price? Or can it just be the adults linked to payments?
What my family does is we use small rubber bands (like for hair) and use those over where the band overlaps. I believe you can also purchase other things to hold it together, but that's the cheapest.
@@viviancutler3918 Just make sure to bring a few extras with you in case they break! Plus the little rubber bands also came in handy when I went to Rafiki's Planet Watch and did the Animation Experience. You get to take your drawing with you and I had an extra rubber band, so I rolled it up all nicely and carried it around the rest of the day.
I have a question? So mine just came in today because I ordered it on Disney shop and I was wondering if my park ticket is automatically linked to my magic band+? Its an after hour event and the ticket is on my Disney experience app.
Love the bedazzled band! I am working out the kinks for MagicBand Plus for Disneyland. It looks like you can’t attach your parking pass…. Only one pass at time it says. Real world problems. Lol
Hi great video thanks! Do you know if I can take the middle out of the plus and use the regular muppet band with it? I really want the muppet back but its not a +! Thank you!
I get that things need to evolve and be updated, but it bothers me a little that no one shows any concern about the amount of waste of plastic or some kind of recycling of the old bands... I mean, I would definitely consider buying the MB plus if they offered some kind of compensation for the old one
Hello! I have one MagicBand for each outfit! 🫱🏽🫲🏼 but I don’t have the MagicBand + yet… Please tell us that you are going to do a ‘pack with me’ video, please!!! I love your videos!! This information is very helpful. I was worried the magic band would run out of battery and not be able to get into lightning lanes.

You can use it to make purchases anywhere on Disney property. You can use it until midnight of the day you check out.
I am not staying in resort, but I’m I still able to use to purchase food or drinks and merchandise?
No you can’t! That’s only a benefit for those staying on property

Hi, you should do a updated office tour and home tour! I love seeing Disney Inspired homes.
I am planning to do an updated office tour! My office is the only place where I have Disney decor 🩷

I recommend getting them at the characters warehouse I got a cool Star Wars one for for 19.99
Where is this?
So informative!! Can you use it with DSA also?
I have a 5 year old regular magic band. Is it likely to still work? It does show up on my account.
It most likely will! I have one that is older than that that I still use!

How do you charge it in the magic keepet?
Power bank or Fuel Rod.
This is an old MagicBand that does not require charging.
@@TheMagicalMiranda You focused on the Magic Band Plus though, which does require charging...
@@evanbrown4820sorry I thought you meant the one I had in the keychain, which does not. MagicBand+ all have chargers
Can I use the same magiband / magicbabd+ at both Disney Land and Disney World. I live in California so Disney Land is more accessible.
Yes! The MagicBand+ is now at Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line so you can use them at those locations too
Hi, thanks for the video very informative. Just wanted to clarify, if you are not staying at a Disney resort the Magic Band + won’t work to attach a debit/credit card to it?
That is correct!!
Well that’s lame. I wanted one for that reason but I guess I’m not buying one now
Where do you buy this from?
It's a Disney MagicBand that I customized myself.
Does every band automatically link to your debit card when you get them with your resort stay discounted price? Or can it just be the adults linked to payments?
You can set up charging privileges for kids’ MagicBands during check-in (online or in person)!
Magic Band Plus keeps falling off my wrist and I Lose it...Such a Bummer!!! Help!!!!

You have to manually enter it on your My Disney Experience!
There’s a code on the back of the MagicBand
Where can I find the beaded colorful magic band +?
I made it :)
Don’t treat grey like that, I got a Spider-Man one but grey was my next option lol

OHHHH I wouldn’t have even thought about the parking pass being added!
Do you need one if you have a VIP tour?
You don’t ever need a magicband but they’re helpful to enter the parks and get into your room!
@@TheMagicalMirandado the limited edition ones make special sounds when tapped like the old magic bands do?
Hi great video thanks! Do you know if I can take the middle out of the plus and use the regular muppet band with it? I really want the muppet back but its not a +! Thank you!
The center parts are different sizes between Magic Band and +, so they're not interchangeable. You can buy a Muppet magic band + though, I'm sure!!
