This a great theory. It’s really interesting to think about-what if instead of TDs just being mindless monsters caused by the Lament, what if they’re another civilization we just can’t communicate with? And that they see us as the monsters, just like how we see them. (I really hope we get a playable TD character someday) Also, this makes it seem like there’s some mastermind behind the Lament, making the creatures in Solaris-both Resonators and TDs-fight and eat each other to get stronger. TDs feeding on the reverberations of the dead and Resonators using the TDs’ reverberations as echoes. Keep up the good work! Love this kind of content.

And honestly, it’s not that crazy to think you could create a new species by combining existing ones-humans have already done it with plants, fruits, and even some animals. In this case, it could just be a natural phenomena caused by mixing certain traits. Like with TDs, they usually take the shape of the main reverberations inside them, combined with others. For example, the common enemy in Norfall Barren looks like a mix of a human and weapons (human and weapon reverberations). Adding to the theory, most TDs probably act more like wild animals than people. They’re mainly driven by instinct, trying to consume others to survive and get stronger. But, maybe they are kind of like aragami in God Eater, when they’ve eaten enough and grown powerful, they will develop some level of awareness and intelligence. At that point, they might even see us as the monsters suggested by the theory Sanhua gained the eyesight of the TDs, which could explain why they attack us as soon as we enter their territory-just like Inferno Rider and other overlord-level TDs.

I very much appreciate this video for touching on the Sea of Flames' quest, as it gives a bit more depth to Scar's words; about how everyone has this "TD"ness inside them deep down.. They just need to "unlock" that "power" via forced overclocking. Then the quest in the Court of Savantae makes the whole thing about the Fractsidus' motives even more terrifying. I would very dearly love to see a Part 2 to this video now that Rinascita is out. As well as a video on Sanhua's backstory. Your narration is so smooth & captivating to listen to. If I could make 1 suggestion though, the sound effects (like at 7:49) are a bit ear-piercing against the smoothness & low tone of your voice.. Turning those down a bit would be nice, especially for headphone users 😅 Keep it up Wavy, liked & shared 💛

It's an interesting parallel to the cultivation arc that Rover is undergoing, where Rover goes through the process via traditional means while the Fractsidus wants every person to ascend to godhood by force

However, their methods are extremely unhinged with a bunch of mentally unstable individuals. The only issue with their plans is that there is no guarantee that everyone will retain their humanity once they ascend into a TDs or something more than a TDs

TDs, Humans, Phantoms, Echoes ... all the same, but a in different frequency. Like light split into different colors of the spectrum. It can be split, but also put together again.
YangYang also tells us that Tacet Discords consume the frequencies of people and even begin acting like those that they consume. I believe she tells us this during Act III with the QiQi Village ordeal. Also, Dreamless does not call Rover "Mother" there as that dialog plays for both male and female Rover, but also the Dreamless goes on to specificy telling us to leave her mother alone and tells us to give her mother our weapons, Dreamless was talking about Ovathrax. Dreamless is also the main reason why I think Geshu Lin is actually dead, but that Ovathrax would take the frequencies and retroact rain in order to essentially "ressurect" Geshu Lin (And thanks to 2.0, perhaps he's a Threonidan Ressonator). You are right, humans are made of frequencies so Sanhua seeing everyone as monsters is in reality how people look. However, her sight is the same way as us using a microscope to look at something at the atomic level. Frequencies are kind of the equivalent to our worlds atoms in terms of buildblocks. Tacet Discords are chaotic frequencies, humans are stable frequencies with someone like Rover, Jihnsi, and Shorekeeper being the most stable and essentially the shape of their soul is the shape of who they are. Turning someone into a Tacet Discords is probably an exceptionally painful experience as you're basically being rearranged on a atomic/molecular level. Also the framing you used "Using the lament to fight the lament" might actually be the "Mobius Loop" that Shorekeeper mentioned, that there might not be a true victory for humanity. Also, you can actually get into that locked room in The Tethys Depths. It was a room that was going to be repurposed and contains a bit of lore about Camellya, Rover, and Hoda. It also confirms that everyone knew about Rover back then as well. Fantastic video, and very thought provoking. I'm going to do some more research in order to see if we can get more information, who knows, maybe there is something hidden within the xp tubes we use to level up.

This hasn't been explained in the story but i like to think the playable characters "deformity" i. e. Calcharo's 2nd form, Verina's plant like tail, Yangyang's feather hair are all caused by their forte slowly arranging/transforming their body into a monster like creatures. Also another headcanon- over world Boss used to be powerful human resonators.

Fun fact Lord Abriter is implied to use a power different from Resonator Rover tacet mark was given by the goddess from the first chapter. However it is said even before being amnesiac they were so power having all element manipulation before scattered and sealed as he chose to forget everything yes chose this amnesiac thing IS PART of his PLAN shown in Carmellya story.
