Rover is basically an angel sent from a god to act in the gods behalf. Everytime the scales of existence are out of balance the Rover is sent to bring balance again.

"The Fractsidus are actually right" is the most on brand theory for Oofie to make

There is one more thing i think alot of people seem to not talk about. When Rover falls into the sea/water some golden lights come out of Rover and then go out into the world into different parts of the world. I think those were the Sentinels like Jue! And for sure the time we see Rover in the water is before they get their memory wiped.

    1) Actually, Abby was the one absorbing the Echo, not Rover.
    2) The Lament is a specific apocalypse-type event in the distant past that gave way to the current status quo. The Waveworn Phenomena are the side effects or consequences of the Lament.
    3) Abby is not the source of Rover’s power. The game never stated that.
The fact that Jué precedes Abby and it was Rover’s former companion implies that she had powers already.
Not to mention that it was explained that Abby is co-dependent to Rover and that if she gets stronger, so will he, showing that there’s a separation of powers and not that Abby is the source.
    4) Tethys is more likely to be a super computer than actually a person or entity.
The Black Shores is an organization, not a nation, therefore it is, so far, unlikely that Tethys is a Sentinel.
Aalto’s description may fit the “Goddess” more, though his reaction when she was shown suggests he was referring to another one. But it’s still too soon to even speculate.
    5) It doesn’t make sense. Jué predicting the future only gives knowledge of what will happen. Removing it, only means that you don’t know it but it will happen nonetheless.
It’s seems that they did that to stop Jué from intervening in their attempt to resurrect the Threnodian, which makes far more sense.

The video poses some interesting questions though, it will be fun to see what happens next.

Perhaps Tethys could be a super-AI like Gestalt (PGR) as well? capable of running simulations and computations on the quantum level.
Also, that Black Shores boss Aalto is saying is weird. If it's ancient then it's not human, so perhaps a Sentinel or a cosmic being. Or an android like the Replicants from Nier with an AI. I mean, if the lament occurred thousands of years, what is called ancient could've been from the pre-palemnt era.
I've also noticed the samsara loop but I'm not sure if the rover is a time traveller or a reincarantor of some sort. I suspect it's the latter cause the world has records of the first rover. If it's time travel, then the world shouldn't have any history of us.
But then again, how and why did we restarted the journey and how did our journey end just to start again. What's also peculiar is that the people around us are aware of us and almost imply that this occurs every after eon or whatever. But they never say what will be the difference now.
    Great video btw!

I hate these kinds of stories. At least show us some reality-what is this fan-serviced isekai nonsense? The more I play this game, the more I appreciate how great the CBT1 story was; they just needed to tweak it a little. It explains why they’re so generous with giving out free five-star characters. Even they don’t know what to do with the story now, having listed urgent jobs for writers and VA directors. It feels like you finally discover a great game after a long wait, only to be disappointed. I played ZZZ because I was bored with this game, and its way of storytelling is absolutely amazing. Kuro should take inspiration from them in this regard.

nah u speak as if ZZZ ain't spamming load of fanservice shit, if u a loreskipper u will never find the reason why almost all characters (for now) find Rover is appealing, and so u can continue to bitching this game story and be praised by hoyoshills😊
just don't ever comeback tourist, go continue to suck brainrotted ZZZ lore that superglazed by fanservice content

How great the cbt 1 story is? You mean that fast-paced nonesense where characters like Calcharo and Yinlin just appeared like generic npcs in the main story? Or the fact that almost every npc in the game has this hate towards the Rover? Trust me, if y'all really played cbt 1 and 2, you won't be playing it today cos you've thrown or punched your device with how haughty the npcs are. And don't get me started on the fetch quests.

@@JustCheppo Kuro wants to experience the story from Rover's perspective, and I agree that the CBT story had its own flaws. Sure, it was too dark and had NPCs who hated you, but they only needed to tweak it a bit instead of completely rewriting it into this isekai harem nonsense where everyone is fawning over you. The CBT story made sense, especially in a world where war is happening. It’s understandable that people would be hesitant to trust a stranger with godly powers. That kind of skepticism adds depth to the story and the characters' motivations. If they had focused on the CBT story and made some adjustments, gradually, everyone in Jinzhou would have recognized Rover's importance. It felt like there was a solid foundation that just needed a little refining. That story makes sense where Fractsidus might be right, but with the current storyline especially the Shorekeeper's arc it seems very unlikely that Fractsidus is correct. What we got is absolutely trash, with poor execution and minimal interaction with NPCs and resonators. I hardly feel any connection to them, and the world quickly comes across as dull and lifeless. It’s frustrating to see such potential wasted. The story just isn’t my thing anymore in this game. It feels like it’s lost the spark that made it engaging.

@@iamdevkun If only that's the issue in cbt 1, I would've agreed, but no.
      A. Character
      1. The Rover himself. His character is a pile of contradictions being aloof at times while also immediately flaring with emotions at the next.
      2. Chixia. Her character background describes her as a girl full of enthusiasm and has her helping everyone around. It completely conflicted at what she is from our first time meeting her and even till we reach the city.
      3. Sanhua. She has got to be the most notorious when it comes to hostility. Rover is already walking around with Taoqi Awu and Commander Jiyan, and somehow, she still attacks us.
      4. Jiyan. If you say it's bad cos many characters fawn over us, then well.. Jiyan just promoted us to trusted comrades with us barely doing anything.
      5. Awu... now I can't really make a coherent sentence about him that won't end up with me stomping the ground every time I remember that kill steal.
      B. Theme
You said it yourself that cbt 1s interaction feels more realistic since they're at war. But in reality, both the vibe of Jinzhou, formerly Tiancheng, is the same. Heck, even Chixia mentioned it when she toured you around, stating that when it comes to ease of life, Tiancheng is known far and wide. The current vibe of the city and its npcs fits better cos of the fact that the major catastrophe, which is the lament, happened a few decades ago meaning the entirety of solaris 3 already survived the apocalypse and have adapted to its strange occurences since all they've been doing since then is researching about the lament.
      C. Pace
I have no idea why they did what they did, but them suddenly slapping New Federation characters like Calcharo alongside the issue with artificial resonators to us barely makes sense compared to what we have now.
There's a bit more that can be said like Danjins' story, but since her story hasn't been implemented yet at the current one, comparisons can't be made.
