One of my new favourite peices of dialogue is when taking the elevator down to the Area Zero underdepths, Briar marvels at the elevator for taking us down and Carmine's response is "well that's what elevators do".
Seriously! Briar and Carmine had such a great interaction there. I love the dialogue in the DLC, especially Carmine stuff.
and when carmine straight up called drayton a “toothpaste-hair bozo”, she really had no chill, i love her 😭

My favourite pieces of dialogue are when you’re in Area Zero for the first time and it goes something like this:
Arven: What are those things called again? Radish rations?
Penny: …research… stations.
Nemona: Wow Penny, you’ve got such a great memory!
Penny: …what’s great is apparently my common sense compared to you lot.
Penny really showcased herself to be quite a mean person in Area Zero, and pretty dense too talking about her parents being too involved after you have Arven telling her about how he was neglected growing up.

one of my favorite dialogues is when arven, penny, nemona, and the player are in area zero and arven’s telling them how great friends him and the player are and penny straight up says “stop trying to flex on us”. caught me SO off guard 😭

There is also scarlet and violet. Thyme says that someone smells worse than a stunkys behind and never forget when Drayton calls Kieran an ex champion in front of him

One of my new favorite pieces of Pokemon has to be the optional interaction between Crispin and Lacey, where Crispin pretty much showcases that he has no rizz.

I always just assumed it was to make sure the player was paying attention to the long cutscene they just had to sit through and weren't just mashing through the whole time. But even then, this is something they've never done before or since, so it just comes off as strange. XD

It's all too clear the game makers didn't really expect us to stop and read every line of dialogue in the games!
Also, it's abundantly clear that each generation of pokemon players can read the same line of dialogue and come up with completely different interpretations!

I've always loved the dialogue in Emerald's battle frontier, it's a real gold mine!
Don't forget, the black and white protags are at least 15, they are perfectly capable of having had a lover and understand what that swimmer meant....
They're 12 or 14, actually. Cheren is confirmed to be 14, but it has never been specified if that refers to his appearance in BW1 or BW2.
Either way, that is a weird question for a grown man to ask a teenager, and the rest of the conversation only makes it worse.
@@Missingno_Miner a quick Google search reveals that they are indeed 14 in the original games, while they were initially supposed to be 16 but instead were made 14, and are 16, in the second games, and in a world where 10 years Olds can go on a world journey, we don't know the other logistics, nor do we know if the swimmer is really that much older
