Ah that's so cool! I had a lot of fun that game and it was nice playing against you.
A Stag guide is coming eventually, but that'll most likely take a while!

wp! I feel like ranks are a bit infilated with the amount of players increasing which is not a very bad thing in my opinion but gold feels like iron now. I was able to push to 700 easily before hound was available. Whereas, it felt like hell in around season 11

      Welcome ma man!
I agree with that assessment, it feels much easier to gain GP nowadays and lobbies are not as high level as before, because most pros don't tryhard right now.
The only downside is that you lose a LOT of GP when losing...

Hey, mate. I am relatively new to Northgard but am doing decently. Something that confuses me though is that I have watched and scrolled through about 15 of your videos to see your setups and whatno, and depending on your clan, your happiness is very different. With boar, lion and I think Stoat you go over a trillion fricking happiness. And with other clans you just boom a bit at 801 and then it goes to the one I am used to at about 2 - 3.5 constant happiness and occasional drops.
So my question is, what makes you go so hard on happiness sometimes?
As an additional question, I play mostly lynx so with the normal lures I get insane food and always have enough. But when I try play them with no normal lure or play a clan with no food bonus, there comes a population threshold where I just dont see how you could possibly keep sustaining it, especially whenever the map spawns no extra food outside the first two. I see you skilled players roam the map with 8 soldiers for several minutes while you have villagers with no jobs at home and seemingly few specialized food workers and you are at 30 supply and somehow you still have decent total food income, how????????? Do you upgrade every single food building and silo? Would that be enough?

      Okay that's an in-depth question so I'll answer in-depth as well! :)
Happiness depends on the clan you play. Some clans achieve a lot of happiness naturally, some clans don't need to have massive amounts of population and some clans always need a brewery.
With Stoat and Lion you'll have taverns in your build order anyway so you'll try to be above 5 happiness at all times.
With Kraken that's similar with the Hörgrs.
Lynx usually doesn't gain happiness up until you have "Feeling Safe" which is your 5th lore in a normal setting and you'll get to 23~ pop purely by upgrading your camps.
Some clans are superior in sustaining the warband.
Goat generates massive amounts of food passively from sheepfolds.
Ox production is more efficient the more warriors you have.
Kraken set-up has 2 upgraded Fisherman Huts.
Lion has an 8-livabilty food tile.
As an example these 4 clans can almost always sustain massive amounts of warband without a problem.
With Lynx that is possible if you build an extra Hunters' Lodge to have at least 6 hunters. Then you should be able to sustain your warband for years.
Also, with lynx it's important to mine stone in the first winter. With "Spoils of Plenty" you'll always have enough food for the early game. Silo is optional and not needed and you can upgrade your food building, if you are the only clan in your team who can feast.
Ask away if you have any further questions.
      Take care!

@@larsmanlive I really appreciate your answer, mate! Special thanks that you answered in such detail!
Just a few clarifications if it's okay: "get to roughly 23 with Lynx by upgrading camps? Scout camps? Or just the town hall? You mentioned the stone gather but first winter? Jeez. that is hella early, I had no idea it is even possible. So mine 10 stone to get town hall upgrade for quicker villager production and then stop mining for a while? Maybe get 15 to also upgrade a house?
As for food sustainance, with the lures I have 0 trouble with food, but I meant when I dont upgrade or when I play another clan, I have no way of spawning food, so I was wondering if your supply gets high, if upgrading your food buildings and silos would be enough to keep thriving, or if there is some mechanic I am missing like just attacking past a certain point to free up supply and pressure opponent.

Camps as in: your tracker camps: since Lynx gets happiness from that.
Mine ALL of your stone starting first winter! You could watch my latest Lynx gameplay for that. The build order is very straightforward. Ah so you don't have food problems with lynx, but specifically with other clans.
Silos for Stag/Boar/Squirrel should fix food problems for those clans. Some other clans have different food set-ups in order to have an easier time sustaining!
Also timing is all about practise. The more efficient your gameplay, the faster you'll be for your first convert.
I am curious, which clan was the hardest to play for you/ with which clan did you struggle the most?

@@larsmanlive Tbh I have only played Bear and Lynx, although watched my brother and a friend play many others when we were 3v3-ing vs bots nad doing conquest. I do come from starcraft 2 though, so most of the RTS fundamentals luckily came naturally. Although I still select a worker before building, after 50 games or something I am still not used to building without selecting. :D

      @larsmanlive  15 днів тому

Yeah would do they start building that automatically?!
      So weird 😂
Yeah with bear you'll need a brewery+ protector of the land.
Otherwise your clan will hate you.

    thoughts on relic rush dragon?

Decent on spawns with sheep/any kind of treasure as I think that going for relic slows you down as Dragon.
