Nkaya Pan Male Lion Totally In Control Of Nsemani Lion Pride

A lot has transpired in the Nsemani Lion Pride after the deaths of the two renowned males Senior Mbiri and Rockfig, who ruled the pride for a long time.
After their deaths, Casper the White Lion and his Shishangaan brothers abandoned the Satara Pride and took over the Nsemani Pride.
When the two Nkaya Pan Males arrived on the scene, Casper and Brothers wisely returned to the Satara Lion Pride.
The two young Ngotso South / S90 males were also spotted with the pride a few times and formed a coalition with Blonde Nsemani, son of Mbiri and Rockfig. The three currently roaming the area along the southern S90, north of Satara Rest Camp.
Currently, it appears that the Nkaya Pan male has complete control of the Nsemani Lion Pride.
Filmed at the Nsemani Dam to the west of Satara Rest Camp in Kruger National Park, South Africa.
GAME DRIVE ETIQUETTE - RULES (SANParks):
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance and turn OFF your engine
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should NEVER be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

As much I love the Shishangaan coalition,their lack of ambition surprises me. This pride was there for the taking and they did not cement their control of it. Nonetheless,that move is only good for the Satara pride as they can count on 4 males for protection.

Odd to see such a mix of ages in cubs. You've at least 1 "teen"/sub adult male. One 8-10 month old cub (female?). And one 2-4 month old cub. Usually pride take over the males kill the previous males' cubs.
