- The young males of the Kumana Lion Pride killed a buffalo the day before, and they and their Mluwati father feasted on it all night.
With their stomachs full, they discovered another herd of buffalo and were enticed to hunt once more by instinct.
Filmed at Kumana Dam in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Game drive etiquette Rules:
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should never be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too

That one son looks GIGANTIC. nevr seen such a big sub adult lion. Incredible.
In the end that buffalo helper got bored and exhausted 😄
Anybody notice that lizard chilling in the tree @6:31 😂
you got some great Focus
Overconfidence gets u killed.
Its not always necessary to face ur demons ; sometimes running from them also helps 😅
Said like a real doctor, must be orthopedist.
Ur a good teacher
😂
The lions were like, come on man! He’s injured! If we don’t eat him, someone else will!
Poor buffalo. His friends can definitely say they tried to save him.
Six Lions are probably just too many foes for three buffalos...
A team pride of Six Lions will eat well and rule for a long time.
yeah if they can stay together and stay healthy there's
a lot of trouble coming for a lot of animals hope too see more
No that buffalo 🐃 was just too stupid because it was weaker than its mates and it didn't run away:
They pick their prize, focused on the objective and definitively got the prize. Strategic principles, coordinated to perfection. Amazing, video. “Lions and Buffalos”.
It looked like to me the 9ne buffalo got mad telling the other buffalo i came back for you twice get off your ass and run. Im not fooling with you any more if you dont choose to get away.
Yes after so many attempt he/she supposed to runaway from lion coz the was a chance of doing so but overconfidence killed him , how can u remained fighting while u are injured already. Feel pity for him
Not easy to run in sustained fashion when your hind leg is injured.
@@filskischannel9737 absolutely.
yeah I saw that 😂😂
It was already injured
Anyone else notice the lizard in the tree at 6:27? lol
Thats a huge lizard.
Iguana maybe?
Nice observation.
That’s a water monitor lizard
@@chembekampamba4214 thats pretty kool
How tf did you see that ?
Not until you point it out
One Brave Bull - Coming Virtually on its own to save the Bull.
The young buffalo want a fight with the lions & ignored the help of his elders.
LOOKS LIKE FATHER AND SONS OR BIG BROTHERS AND LITTLE BROTHERS 😂❤😂
that one was just begging to be eaten, he kept going back, telling lions, please eat me, the other buffalo just got tired of rescuing his stupid A, THERE'S AN OLD SAYING BE CAREFUL FOR WHAT U WISH FOR BECAUSE U JUST MIGHT GET IT. AND HE GOT HIS WISH
That young buffalo was injured in the hind leg from the start. He actually put up formidable fight and trying to run considering the leg injury.
😂😂😂😂😂😂 spot on!
Mulwati males sons. He about 10 years old and he is very wise to keep his sons with him. He was very proud of them .When lions get about 10 it will be wise to keep your sons. Great video great catch great hunt
Lions don't keep their sons with them. Sons are chased out the pride about age 2 sometimes a bit earlier or later. It may happens that the pride is soon after taken over by other males forcing the father to flee. Sometimes after fleeing he finds his son or sons that he recently chased out. They will form a bond only if the sons are not mature enough to take over a pride of their own. They stay with dad because he's able to help to defend them as well as hunt.
@@Headonwriter you need to wake up this is actually what they doing now keeping there sons with them because they're getting old
@@falanajerido875 Somebody don't agree with your nonsense, they need to wake up uh. It's in it's nature to chase their sons out the pride to prevent in breeding. The only way they meet up again is if the father is removed as head of his own pride and by chance meets up with the sons he kicked out. That's the way of the lion's nature and regardless of what you chooses to think will never change that.
@@Headonwriter bye hun do some research have a great day
@@falanajerido875 Have been studying lions for decades and that's why I can tell you that what you're saying is not so.
But the way African buffaloes help each other is impressive. They are not so dumb animals, in some aspects they are smart.
It's amazing that it been going on for thousands of years
Not so smart, they don't even kick. Sometimes it's better if they don't help you because you're in danger of being gored to death.
@@aristotels_aristotalsYes, they do it rudely because they are stupid animals, but it can still help and the fact that they help is impressive.
@@yatotomototo Yes, sometimes they do it well. Yaks cooperate much better than buffaloes.
Yea they helped him die by goring him. hahahahaha
He help him get free but he wouldn't get away until it was to late
The young buffalo was injured and in pain
Injured buffalo can't survive a nightfall easy target ...it was just a matter of time
They are extremely intelligent. ❤❤
❤
Then why he not leave with other two😊
Regarding the strange behavior at the end, the buffalo started hitting the injured buffalo surrounded by male lions. Is he trying to help injured buffalo to stand on his feet or after so many save attempts, Buffalo showing his frustration by hitting him hard?
Yes they are trying to get other buffalo to get up...they do it all the time when other buffalo goes down like that!! Looks violent but that's what they often do
1. the buffalo tries to move the injured female away but in the end he checks up that there is no chance for the female because broken leg. So he gives up. This is the hard rules of the nature... sicks, weaks, injured animal get killed.
They have very poor eyesight, it's just going by the smell and goring the buffalo thinking the lion is there...
Lion attacks on buffaloes are a common occurrence in the wild. Lions typically target weaker or isolated members of the buffalo herd, often employing ambush tactics and coordinated teamwork to bring down their prey. It's a dramatic and intense event, showcasing the raw power and survival instincts of both predators and prey in the African savanna ecosystem.
Easy catch.
More 🐃meat on the table for the fam........well done King of the jungle🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁🦁
Brother risked his life to save his brother but he then didn’t make it out. 💀
Don't get hooked on horn big guy's be careful no drowning yourselves either watch out for croc's good luck
I like to imagine the lions were letting them say their final goodbyes before they finished off the poor bastard. Ruthless and cunning predators.
I like this video to watch again and again
Спасибо за интересный фильм!
Great video..👌
Too much confidence may leader you to tragic end.nature had their rules❤
a
You cant have six male lions and there will be any bufallo around.
Just like the famous SIX, their regular meals will be buffaloes
Those cape buffalos are enormous and can weigh up to 4000lbs (correct me if I'm wrong)
They are big, but 4000 is a huge stretch. Adult bulls get to 1600-2300, females around 1000. Hippos and rhinos weigh 4000-8000 lbs
@@eshw23 thank you for the correction..
You are. A Bull weighs around 1000 kg, from what they say on documentaries.
They saw the limping Buffalo and couldn't resist.
C'est vraiment magnifique la nature, c'etait un vrai jeux d'echec et les lions clubs ont fait echec et mat
Unlucky buffaloes encounter hungry lions
Buffalo are strong animals.
One buffalo stood there to commit suicide.
Its a young buffalo- there is flight or fight response (normally) but if one is young and inexperienced trauma can cause him/her to freeze and in this case become a meal.
@@luvmyaussie9561 he had easy way out, later the elder bulls had given up in frustration of his foolishness. I saw a video of a just born zebra baby running for life and survived ultimately.
@@theexaminer4784agree..im so stressed seeing that stpid calf keep going back to the group lions, rather run following another Bulls
The young buffalo had injured hind leg. If you ever injure leg., try running for less than 1/4 of the time of this video and find out.
They were smart n damaged one of his legs so he couldnt get away!!
They're not dumb like us human beings just failing to help each other
Very wrong to say they attack the Buffalo 'just because they can'.
Lions hunt for a reason = to eat.
Do you visit your fridge, stove or grocery cupboard just because you can?
Thank you for not talking during filming.
The bull has finally given up on protecting the buffalo cow and left it all to the lions. It eventually decided it was a lost cause!
Predators are smarter than prey.
Beautiful, seen, thanks
Heartbreaking from buffaloes perspective 💔, imagine seeing your relative brother friend dying infront of you and eaten alive by those monsters !
7:38 The buffalo was gored by its own species...🤣
6:32 monitor lizard just chilling in the tree.
That stupid buffalo tried to attack the lions instead of running away..lol
Was it already injured, why it wasn't running away with others
That was my first question too , I that young buffalo doesn't know lions very well coz he had a chance of running away with his elders but wanted to stay fighting , why hey...
Try running with injured leg.
In the end, the young Buffalo asked for death blow and his friends delivered it to him.
I like it, we have to help ourselves while we have time
Small buffalo didnt run initially and this mistake cost his life
That big bull 🐂 is gigantic against 6 they even do not dare to face him but rather focus on the weak and small one , buffaloes 🐃 are the badass of all the herbivores ! Along with rhinos 🦏 and elephants 🐘.
What do you call a Buffalo that’s in the water? A water Buffalo
*This video is a true work of art, I am in awe of the immense talent of the creators.!* DO YOU AGREE WITH ME?
It's very good, certainly. No chatter. No music. Just the real African Bush. Very well filmed! And is that injured buffalo *really* trying to charge the lions?
That one Lion is much bigger...is he the father?
That buffalo with the limp managed to get away via the water in the beginning but stuck around to its own demise. Should’ve keep running.m
sometimes it looked more that buffalo attacks buffalo because it can
Instead if escapinh that injured buffalo wanted to fight again
When he could not run due to injury he tried defend himself or herself- brave buffalo
not often one sees pure, just revenge, ime..
Why are there not one, but TWO buffalos with broken/ badly injured legs in this herd? That is a little unusual, plus the killed buffalo seems to have had a hernia. Are so relatively many injured buffalos common in that locality?
That's a 3 old buffaloes against a pride of 6 subadults lions
quem não faz por merecer fica na mão aí vira comida legal muito bom muito top top
As you watch this the buffalo also knew his end was near.
That young bull had meny times to Escape, but for some reason he refuses to leave ,,,
The two big buffalo.....Oh well, we tried!!!
Maybe just Maybe poor lions are hungry and they happen to like buffalo.
I mean who doesn't like buffalo wings?
Why do we put human traits on wild animals, they’re hungry not killing buffalo for sport
Humans never kill for sport
Qual coalizão é essa?
The only mistake a prey makes is to become overconfident, seprate itself from the herd and run right into the middle of predators.
Moga selalu sehat pak
Truly brave bufallow❤....
Its spelt buffelo
What is the name of this 6 brothers
I love this video.❤😅
O filhote abdicou da segurança da companhia dos pais e ainda quis dar uma de valentão. Virou refeição. 😢
Some unexperienced young males 😂
No. They’re full grown and healthy and strong, proof they managed to survive and hunt successfully without major injury. They are very experienced.
Nope not like a full grown one@@plumeria66
Water buffalos aren't the sharpest tool in the shed
If you do not have enough courage to save you, then outsiders will be helpless, even if they are at your back.
Ele insistiu tanto em encarar wue virou comida os colegas tentaram ajudar mas...😅😊😅😮
6 males even against a small herd of buffaloes, one buffalo is goong to be lunch or dinner and could be 1 hurt lion
All predators are bad either In human society or in animal world.
the buffalo that saved others ended up getting himself killed...
No he didn't
Sweet nature some think
Unbelievable...

This is called the innocent buffalo
the Adult Male buffalo tired to save young buffalo several times but instead of going with them, the young buffalo boosted young hood and at last hunted by the six great lions who never tired to hunt., hence boosting and not follow the elder are bad attitude in this buffalo deeds and try again and again is best thing in deeds of six great lions with combine attempts.
The young buffalo was injured from the start. Not easy to run when you are in pain with injured hind leg
Just because this is sick small buffalo.
lol hater lion rules
@@rajibrana7480 A blind man again. If this buffalo barely walks, smaller than other buffaloes by 1/4, does this not support my words?
U right the buffalo is small
You are right the one they killed was the young one but then again you can also clearly see this was more of a hunting lesson for the lion's sons.
@@nighthawk0889Of course, this is a good hunting lesson for young lions.
Búfalos feridos, não conseguiram acompanhar a manada, e acabam ficando próximo dos rios e lagoas
Did you notice ..a big dragon in the nearby tree watching all this ? 6:26 to 6:30 you can see that
He had his chance to escape
The wild buffalo is so brave
Probably more because they're still hungry and it was injured.
They are targeting that one buffalo because of it's broken leg
1:48 thats why buffalo are stupid. I don’t think this sub adult buffalo can count to 4. Or tell the difference between a lioness and a lion. He actually thought he can fight 4 male lions😂
This is the mopago collision
Have to say that buffalo was so stupid that it deserved to become lunch
Yess
Very stupid indeed
Brave young buffalo- he was injured not stupid
Let your brother go, nothing more to do. That’s life in the jungle.
The Mane is not fully developed
6 lions is a large coalition
A Siberian tiger would have no problem taking that buffalo down in a few seconds
Oh really ?
They have the bite and power twice stronger than the lion
Also Amur tigers have weaker bite than Bengal tigers 950psi vs 1050psi and recent studies have shown that a full grown lion has a bite force of 1000psi the other on a sub adult proven by Natgeo wild # the recent episode of animal fight club
Amur tigers are stronger yes but being 100kg heavier than lions have 60% muscularity Lion 58%
@@chibuzorvictorezike6976 60% what? blub? Lion dominates so shut up
