I cannot believe what I’m hearing!!! 😲. My mother used to make these and never gave me the recipe. She’s now 101 and sadly can’t remember. But now I have it. Yeeeeeeesssssss! 😊. Thanks dude.
Loved your sweet and sour chicken (as did the family) Dumplings are next on the list. I try and do some of the cooking when we go camping so the "better half" can get a break....I have learnt more about camp oven cooking from UA-cam than any book......LOL
Who are you kidding ..lol..we know you love pancakes for breaky..all you have done is slightly twisted the recipe so you can have them at night as well..legendary love ya style ..onya mate!
I must admit I really miss seeing your videos. So I have decided to come back and watch the ones I haven't seen and also re-watch others I've seen already. Might sound a little sad but I do enjoy your videos. 😃
They are so good! But i cook mine slightly differently, i cook them in more of a runny caramel/golden syrup type mixture. Males them extra sweet and leaves a yummy sauce to drizzle over them 👍👍
Hi, always love to see camp recipes. But my killer would be "Rostli". Also great for overlanding as ingredients are simple and easy to carry. Just grate some potatoes, add 1-2 eggs and some bacon cubes, paprika and spices. Mix and fry paddy-style(save oil) until golden brown. I am sure you will love them. And by the way, the best way to carry eggs is to break them before travelling, storing them in a 330cc bottle in the cooler. No risk on breaking and space saving. I will also try your recipe but will use cinnamon as flavouring.
Bonfires aren't camp fires, but still you might miss them. Bond-fires are not anything and you don't miss these. I'm sorry I couldn't let it go, but now you know.
From the Western Australia Parks Service website... "...There is a period during which campfires are not permitted at any time of day or night. Very generally, this period is from December 1 to March 31 inclusive, but it may vary from place to place and from year to year..."
Good question, I am pretty sure it's just sugar that has been turned into a syrup, how they do that, I'm not sure! It's nowhere near as tasty as maple syrup, maple is just 😍
@@SeekAdventure I looked it up...yep, sugar, water and a slice of lemon and it all gets cooked til I guess it caramelizes a bit. voila, golden syrup. I may make some just to see what its like.
@@utahjohnnymontana3373 Our sugar is made from sugarcane and so is golden syrup. You'd need to check where the sugar came from I imagine. Anyway I think your maple syrup is taster. The grass is always greener on the other side I guess.
@@DavesShed Cane sugar is nicer but we often have beet sugar here unless it's labeled otherwise. Always go cane when there is a choice. Corn syrup...meh. Maple is great! Try it on vanilla ice cream.
Oh men love your channel and videos they are top notch... but your cooking and food intake needs a major improvement! Guess you are in for some girly support with the pot and pan stuff. Please keep the sunny side up mate! Cheers
😂😂 I thought I hid that so well! I only carry plain flour, I just add baking powder to it. But to save confusion in the video I just said self rasing flour and I didnt show adding the baking powder 🙂. You have a very keen eye! 👍

Hi bud. Love your channel.
The only food i brought with me when i go camping/hiking is dumplings. You can fry it, you can boil it, you can steam it, and it all tastes different.
Looking forwards to the summer but you can’t beat camping around a camp fire. 😉
Chef Michael... Bring back Mischa as your assistant please.
Looks good and I will try this. Eggcellent as usual ..
Try hard boiled eggs in custard!
I hope you had a few people to help you eat all that !
Looks delish...
I'm glad to said something about the bush fire season coming to a end. I'll miss the bond-fires

Do you not camp with someone else? I love camping, but I would rarely go alone.
Vanilla essence is the only thing i don't normally have, that will change next trip.👍
Nice . I don't know what you mean when you said "FIRE SEASON'S COMING TO THE END" , it's only just starting , you must have made this last year :-)

@@newport5504Haha Can the universe make it any more obvious!? You know what you need to do 😉
What is golden syrup? Is it like maple flavored pancake syrup or is it just light corn syrup or is it something else entirely?

Either you refill your self raising flour into your plain flour tub or your trying to have on! Which 1 and why?
