Super Easy Apple Cobbler in a Dutch Oven Over an Open Campfire

This recipe is super easy to make and hard to mess up! Everything tastes better when cooked in or over a campfire and this is no exception. Special thanks to my sister, Jessica, for introducing me to this gem!

Dutch oven cobbler was a guaranteed fact when we went camping when i was a kid .
apple , peach , blackberry , blueberry . . . i think dad even made rhubarb cobbler . people all over the camp ground would follow their noses to our campsite . and dad would share .
after the first year , he made them 2 at a time . . . because he knew people would appear magically when it was almost done .
we went to one of two different campgrounds , either Findlay Park or Kelly's Island Park .

Some outdoor -campin stores sell foil pans to fit your DO, great for cookin acidic foods like chilli or spaghetti. Those acidic food eat away on your seasoning. Great Job, keep up the good work

We love dump cakes. Try it sometime with fresh or frozen blackberries and chocolate cake mix. No sugar needed. ❤
