2016 police interceptor utility made 5-2015 to 9-2015 uses the red button remote GB5z-15k601-A , the blue took over in 9-2015. GB5Z-15K601-C. Needs Ford IDS 96.03 or later and VCM-2 obd2 link. been through the same issue. But with forscan software and a obd2 connector you can enable the locks and windows and lights yourself, along with the perimeter alarm if equipped, and some other neat options. But you still need the dealer to program the remotes to the vehicle..
I dont understand though, so the blue key fob with the trunk button will not work for 06-2015? Did the dealer tell you that? That sucks, so I cannot order a key fob with a liftgate button?

Forscan has been updated to program the fobs so I will test out the blue button remotes when they arrive
This is not true. My 06/2015 paired with the GB5Z-15K601-C no problems via forscan

What version of ids and scanner are you using? Vxdiag?
This is working only on FDRS not ids. IDs Nees Vcm2 or Ford Vcm 3
