Bro the quality of this video is amazing. Great camera angles, great tips, no BS talking into straight to the point. Easiest sub, like and notification bell Iv ever slapped
A great video brother. Very attention to detail oriented as always. I will get this lip from Irvine Subaru out here in Ca. That STI under spoiler looks great but i cant justify paying 500.00 dollars for it. Stay safe and Subies forever.😊
Appreciate you helping the community at large. How'd you learn to do all this? haha. In any case, great video and I appreciate all the useful tips, especially the black tape on the drill bits. Made life much easier. Great looking lip, too, diggin' the OEM quality/fitment. Hope you're enjoyin' your car! Looks sharp. :)
Nice video. I'm not a fan of the OE lip because of how it rises up on the sides to the wheel well. I wish it stayed flat or straight across w/o the side portion or shoulder. I know that it aides in attaching the lip to the inside of the lower fender, but still not a fan. I'm not a fan of the STi side skirt/rocker extensions or rear spats either because of the same issue. The HT Autos [V3] or Verus designed lips/splitters, extensions and spats are more my speed as they do not rise up and over the bumper or rocker panel.
@@akqjtn...don't get me wrong, the OEM STi stuff still looks nice (and should be included std on all STis, not just special models)... It's just not in line with my vision.
What do you think looks better this OEM lip or the MP style one on the WRX. I like the more subtle look of the mp style the Subaru one looks a little too aggressive to me.
I have a 2017 Subaru Impreza Sport sedan and have been looking for a front lip but don't want the STI logo because I don't think it would make sense but that's just me.
@@akqjtn Wait, that's USDM splashguard (not the JDM ones - they're actually a bit bigger). Either way, if you do decide to do a pair, I'd be interested to know how you plan on mounting, and what you plan on going with. The downside with either is that they change how you can mount a spat so it becomes a rather... interesting... exercise in creatively mounting the spats. @@akqjtn Yeah, it's why I went with them (still have a WRX CVT, currently stage 2 =). On a completely different note, did you do any sound deadening to your STI?
Does anyone know the sizes of the well nuts and bolts? Also, is there a part number for the two wheel well clips? I want to install an OEM lip I got without hardware. I know I can use self tappers or bolts and washers but would prefer to do it OEM style.
Hi, same here, I got the OEM lip (E2410FN000) without hardware. Any idea about the sizes of the well nuts and bolts? Also the needed well clips? Thanks
the tapping process is really important trust me.and thanks for the detailed video, I couldn’t finish it without this one

The best on UA-cam!
It looks good! A front lip is a must in all STIs. As it doesn’t line up with the rest of the body kit if you look at it from the side
This was by far the best installation video I think I've ever seen. Keep it up!
Thanks to your video, I bought the front lip spoiler and the side skirts for my 2019 Subaru STI.
I really like the look of this front lip alot.
I really like this front lip
Thanks I do too!
Dude, this was such a good install vid. No wonder the factory lip is $400

Best looking front lip IMO

Awesome video man! Do u plan on making videos for the side and back lips??

Will adding the front lip or even the side skirts take away from the ground clearance of the car? I’m just wondering about snow
I heard these have problems down the road (they get loose etc), did u experience any of this?
Real nice 😍
where did you get the licence plate holder? all i can find is the relocation kits
Dang thats is such a great install video. You tell it so promptly and i wish i was on ur lvl with install videos lol.. you won a sub from me!!
@@akqjtn i will most certainly haha just need an idea book to right stuff down lol. Or just keep buying parts and talking about them
Man, I hate you!! Haha! I was 50/50 on them but now I'm all in on getting it. Looks great!
Great job.... seed you got the STI
Badass
Do you know where I can get those rubber filling for the lip gap?
Do you have the JDM splashguards on? If so, are you thinking about going with rear spats?

Front license plate bracket? is it tilted? TA
Do you know where can I get this push clip 4:24
ta heaps!
Uh I fucked up drilling the hole by the wheel and did 3/8 instead of 1/4
Just get a different clip, there are lots of cheap kits an Amazon
What a great job. Can you do mine? 😃
I can’t see a make spot on my STI 2020 🤨
