Have the brake light wired in the bottom. So didnt want to take off the bumper. You can just lift the car. Pop a few clips at the very back and youre set. No need to remove the bumper or tail lights
Such clean installation👍😍 always enjoying your videos man. Short and clean professional language explaining what’s next with no nonsense talk. Congratulations...Cheers and my best wishes from Toronto🇨🇦 Mike
Great video! How much distance is there in between the bumper and rear spoiler/diffuser? Also have you seen the GCS one on subiespeed? They sell it in black but the spacing looks more on the GCS one but I’m not sure.
Love the videos, very detailed and well organized. I just completed this install about 2 weeks ago but would definitely recommend removing taillights or atleast putting masking tape between bumper and taillights. I have removed bumpers before on other STIs and I was extremely cautious but, when persuading bumper off it binded against the taillight on driver side and scuffed the paint minorly due to a piece of debri trapped in between that went undetected initially (scuffed paint off about the size of the ball point on a pen). I am by no means a professional but I always take extra caution and still had this issue. I removed both taillights before continuing install. May not be a big deal to some but I'm OCD I guess. Anyway awesome videos look forward to more content soon!
Is it adjustable? Like do you get a small gap between the diffuser and bumper or no gap at all? I’m asking because I’ve seen some were they have a small gap
I like the spoiler but why is it 500 dollars? I own a 2020 STI and I'm going to put the OEM STI front lip on and a 4th brake light. After that I will have to get think about it.
I suppose patience is the key with taking off the rear bumper. Any other tips for someone that has never removed one (aside from visiting a Subaru dealer)? The clips near the tail lights I'm sure are the worst part...so, perhaps taking off the tail lights will make it easier (to err on the side of caution)? In any case, nice video once again. :)
Hey man I know this is a really late comment. I bought one used and it didn’t come with any hardware. Do you know what size hardware I need for it all?
This will be the next exterior mod i will do on my 2020 world rally blue STI. Subies forever. We another STI. 😊

You read my mind. This is sitting waiting to be installed as soon as I have some free time. Love your videos, keep the content coming.
Looks clean! I always appreciate the way you break it down on these installs!
Watching this video right now in preparation for doing this to my 17 STi: can't wait :D.
Very nice!! I was kicking that around on getting one for my STI. Looks awesome!!

Looks amazing I wonder how it would have looked with the Oem exhaust covers
Good

Simple but a real pain...at this point or going to this much trouble, you might as well go with the Verus rear (full plate) diffuser
Is it adjustable? Like do you get a small gap between the diffuser and bumper or no gap at all? I’m asking because I’ve seen some were they have a small gap
you can shovel snow with that diffuser
Hey I was just wondering if you remove the back bumper, will it still fit flush when you put it back on? Thank you again, love your videos!
Looks great! Do you plan on driving this in the harsh WNY weather? Do you think the snow will effect the extra body pieces at all

I saw that you got rid of this diffuser for the other one. Any particular reason why?
Great videos, is that a 3/8 inch tork wrench?

Yes taking off the taillights would be the best way to avoid any damage, and it's really easy to do so why not?
@@akqjtn sounds like a plan. Next weekend is when I plan to install it, so, appreciate the info. :)
great video, thank you!
