    ------------------------------------------------------------------
3D printing is a great way to make things for real. The good people at Myminifactory asked us if they could produce a sample for us, and we sent them a sketch of a big arrow with huge fins. It arrived only a few days later and looked awesome!
Of course we had to make a special launcher for this arrow... see for yourself.
    A "The Slingshot Channel" production!

the structure inside the rocket is called "sparse". It is optional, so if you want a lightweight, less costly, yet somewhat strong part, you can make the printer extrude the filament like that. It's way less costly to print in that way basically.

To fix the problem with the arrow thingy sticking you can use a larger diameter on the steel nail on the end of it where it first hits the target. This allows the hole to be bigger than the nail that goes in. Therefore making it easier to take the arrow out. They do this with pratice archery arrows sometimes.

You could probably add a pretty simple counterweight to the back of that pistol to remove the torque it is putting on your wrist when you shoot it with one hand. It seems like with it being such a long barrel that even though the mass is low, the torque could still be pretty high

I have been watching your channel for a long time and I love your content! I have noticed that your wooden slingshot mechanisms have quite a lot of power capability. In previous videos you have designed "bazooka" slingshots where the center of mass of the slingshot is on your shoulder. I think that design will give you the most power overall and will allow the mechanism to be easy to hold and to aim. I imaging a bazooka slingshot 10 meters long that sits on your shoulder would be very powerful, and dangerous. The only issue i can think of is the firing mechanism and if there are wood planks long/strong enough.

Perhaps fin-stabilized bottle with the cap on the rear behind the fin assembly, a weighted cone on the other end with a pin mechanism to puncture on impact! With some creativity, the fins and cone might even be reusable, if you can find them.. lol

If I had to recommenced anything considering your longer weapons, it would be to add sort of a hilt to the weapon in front of the trigger, not for protection necessarily, but to add weight. To have the center of gravity closer to your hand, I think, would make it a bit easier to handle and aim with one hand. For example, heavy hilts are put on swords to make them easier to wield, I feel the same logic could work here.

what is your view on wrist rockets do you think they hinder or help or are the same i like wrist rockets because there is less chance of your wrist bending with the force of the bands being pulled and effecting your shot i just wanted your opinion seeing as you are a leading expert in rubber projectiles
