- Today is an incredibly special video with Alex Ross from Sharkwerks! He was kind enough to put us behind the wheel of their modified and improved Porsche Cayman GT4 on steroids. It's got over 400hp, bolt-ons, a lighter flywheel, shorter gearing, more improved aero, and a few other touches that make the Cayman GT4 exactly what it should have been from the factory. It was an amazing experience to drive on the mountain roads and the responsiveness of the engine/transmission is really what made this car stand out so much in my eyes. Enjoy!

Roads Untraveled the only reason I found Ur channel was because you have the only review on UA-cam of a b4 rsk. You gotta get ur name out there bruh! Your content is very competitive with the other UA-camrs. Look in ur comments people are saying ur better than the smoking tire. @@Ninj4VAL all porsches can hit high numbers because their engines are very robust its just that there isnt enough of a tuner market out there for them and thus no one makes crazy porsche builds

Ryan White it still sounds very GT4. You should thank the audio quality and mic. Usually mics can't pick up shit. But he does a good job with picking the right mic and adjusting it nicely.

I will say this... Porsche is VERY fortunate that they developed the Cayman's chassis. If any other manufacturer had come up with this, they would not hesitate to put 550WHP into it, and DESTROY the 911.

Would be epic if they gave the 981 Cayman GTS the 3.8 liter engine, and the GT4 the 4.0 liter but tuned down in every way so it doesn't cannibalize the GT3 and 911 S models.
ZDY That would be pretty cool. I think on the bright side Sharkwerks would probably be down to do a 4.0 stroker motor in the GT4.

I prefer a manual which I have in my GT4. The advantage of a PDK is anybody with a licence can drive your car if you have a few too many beers one night. Anyway..............
Thank you for not specifying the location..... if I'd known you were going to be down here I would have shown you my 914V8 race car. ....On a separate note, I understand your love for the manual in that GT4, But, for those with more modest budgets, who will be 'stuck' with the lesser powered 'S' or 'base' model, the quickness and close ratios of the PDK are a real equalizer, on both road and track, in terms of giving the car real quickness. Watch my videos and you'll see my car can compete with a Nissan GTR or a 997GT3, thanks in significant part to the fast shifting and close ratios of the PDK, IMHO.🤓😎💩
BTW, the squirrel population in that area and their behavior on the road can be totally insane, seriously.

Joshua Wiggins ikr but who cares! All cars will be electric with no transmissions soon! Auto gearboxes will become sooooo outdated but I think the manuals will always stick around!

I think this is a well-known fact by everyone that PDK is always faster than manual shifting. The point is, manual is better in my opinion and i'll take it over a two-pedal car any day of the week.

Cars are designed for the majority of customers and they have to ensure durability and good fuel economy as well quiet enough to be a daily driver. This modified car is really not a daily driver.

I have a few cars and I use a 9114S on the weekends and in stock form it feels quite loud after a couple of hours of country driving but it has nice engine sounds with a little exhaust sound. My Audi S4 is quite loud (awe). I drive a few times a week and sometimes as a daily driver for a week or two..
