Back story with KC's first album. Heard this on Casey Kasem's Top 40. KC was employed as a Custodian, cleaning a Recording Studio. But he didn't want to get paid in cash. Instead he wanted studio time instead. That is how he got to cut his first LP. What a great Rags-to-Riches story.
