The immortal is probably the strongest per unit pop anti ground unit in the game ever since they changed the shield. Earlier it used to be exceptionally good anti siege tank only. Now it's moderately good vs everything .
@@Mecha444not if they are teamed with HT, then again, you'd have to throw psi storm on the immortals when zerglings connect, and Zerg can always throw money at the problem
One can tell that you play terran :D you did not bother with any micro with protoss and zerg (e.g. templar storm or ravager bile), but with terran you did try it for ghost and cyclone :D
Exactly. He could have microed the immortal against the Ultralisk as well, which would have caused the Immortal to win. But he didnt, so you get the completely wrong impression here.

In real fight situation, terran always hit n run first, which put the shield always on cooldown, and its a long cooldown
it's not like i really care who wins but i don't get the logic why dark templar was attacked accompanied by an observer but the cloaked ghost wasn't
He probably wanted to see if immortals could tank ghost shots long enough before cloak energy is out I'm guessing

RNG timer between attacks. Its a very tiny effect, but in encounters like these it will win or lose you the fight.
A few of the units could have used abilities (Bile, etc.) but still a good video for some 1v1 comparison 👌
