She got me to use SPF daily (watching her actually terrified me that I hadn't been using it daily) and to become committed to fragrance-free skincare. Lo and behold, my skin looks generally less irritated (aside from the usual acne I suffer).
Great video! I love Dr. Dray! She has saved my skin and my wallet. I eliminated fragrance from all my skincare thanks to her, and it has done wonders for me. I don't understand why people say she fear mongers. She's a dermatologist. She's not going to recommend you slather perfume on your face just to keep brands in business.
Yes. I did the same. I also have eczema prone skin. It got worst during my pregnancy. I then discovered Vani Creme. The gentle formula helped me so much.
She’s made me buy wayyyy too many things haha.. cerave acne foaming cleanser, drmtlgy sunscreen, ponds cold cream (frag free of course) just to name a few!! I’ve been wanting to try the de la Cruz sulfur because of her rec so I’m glad to see you had good results as well!
Yes sameeee, once I'm out of my Cetaphil cleanser I think I'll switch to CeraVe per her recommendation. Also yes def pick up the sulfur ointment, it's so inexpensive!
I really liked this! It’s a cool idea to talk about what worked from her and what didn’t considering your skin type & concerns. I am also so glad Pixi seems to have chilled with the fragrance in some of their lines. I will have to try the Vaniply ointment. Do you like the Cerave Healing Ointment. It sounds very similar & that’s what I use for my lips & cuticles. Stufff I love from her recs: the Neutrogena Norwegian Hand cream, Eucerin advanced repair cream (I think it would be awesome for your eczema to switch off w cerave cream), Aveeno shaving cream, Vanicream antiperspirant, & ponds cold cream fragrance free. Best thing ever to take off eye makeup & does not sting whatsoever.
Thank you friend! Yes definitely agree with the comment about Pixi, I feel like they have some potential for good products. I've not tried the CeraVe Healing Ointment, but if it works for you then definitely keep using it! Sounds super similar to the Vaniply ointment.

Hi Phineas! Thanks so much for watching. I'm planning on doing a video on my experience with fungal acne soon. Dr. Dray is super helpful on a lotttt of skin issues!
To go to a dermatologist, 3 to 4 spf, sulfar mask, differin, hada labo, Neutrogena hydroboost, SA wash, lily silk pillowcase, silicone patches, eye patches. I could go on.
The big ticket item Dr. Dray got me to buy is the iRestore hair regrowth helmet. Because of her I’ve also purchased Cerave Cream in the tub, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel moisturizer, a Hado Labo gel moisturizer (didn’t work for me), a Red Earth gel moisturizer (don’t use it much), and Cerave healing ointment. Also the Color Science eye sunscreen treatment and Color Science sunscreen...Please note that the Neutrogena Hydro Boost gel moisturizer has two ingredients that are considered unsafe for fungal acne (according to Skincarisma.com). The Great Barrier Relief is also unsafe for fungal acne. Try pure Squalane oil.
I'm curious how you have been faring with the iRestore helmet. Are you still using it and, if so, have you seen any results? Please report back here and let us know your experience! 🙏😊

Would LOVE for you to try it for like a month or so and do a review! I LOVE krave's beet the sun spf! Xxx

Heyy I am planning to buy the sulfur de la cruz mask, i was wondering how many times a week do I use it and do I still use cleaser before putting it on?
Yes, cleanse your skin before putting it on. Sulfur is only active in the skin for 24 hours, so it is recommended to apply at least once a day. You can apply it up to twice a day, but if that is too drying go back to once a day.
Hi, I have recently got the sulfur ointment and used it only for 10-15 minutes and noticed that my painful blemishes pain got reduced and thinking to use everyday for 10-15 minutes. Hi Ashley! While I do believe washing your hair every day _does_ help with acne, I personally try to wash my hair only twice a week. I have incredibly oily hair, so washing it eery day would just be too harsh on my scalp.
