Wohooo!! I’ve finally played my first doubles tournament since 2020! And even got a medal!! Not a bad start for my 2023 season, right?! Well, in all honesty, it was not all fun and games… actually, it was quite a disaster!! But enough spoilers, go ahead and watch how it went!

It’s been a week since that final, and I have yet to get over it! 🙄 Oh boy, did it hurt! But on a better note, this weekend I got a new medal, and THIS is a huuuge one! One that not many have!!!! You bet, in the next video I’m gonna tell you everything about it! 😉 In the meanwhile… can you guess what medal it is?!

I'm going to say you got the Gold Medal 🥇! Anyhow, relating to this video, was sushi your only option? What's the tip on eating right before a match? Nothing heavy? Also wow, you played two pairs of siblings that day! Is it common in Finland to have siblings playing doubles together?

Yep, that day sushi was my only option. (McDonald's doesn't count, right?!) I only had 30 min to eat, so no time to go home and have pasta. Plus, I love having sushi before matches! (Especially when it's good!) Right before matches I honestly don't know. I personally try to eat at least 1h before, either pasta or sushi or bread and salmon (when there's no other choice), so I have enough time to digest! How about you? What's your go-to food before playing? About the siblings... yeah, that's crazy! And I haven't mentioned, but we actually played all the 3 matches against siblings! Quite a record!! Not sure whether it's common or not, it might have just been a coincidence!
