If you don't want the limbs to swing into your face when cutting over your head, do a bottom cut then finish with the top cut. Limb should drop straight down rather than swing at you. Thanks for the review.

That is one of the best informational videos I have ever seen on UA-cam. I love your humor. I loved you are down to earth real life man doing real life chores on the farm. I will go and buy this because of you.
Thank you, my friend. I would give you a five star rating on your video. ❤️👍☘️

    Thank You!
I've one, it's sitting downstairs ... we're watching my green grow into the street, while I find some courage.
I've been intimidated by something I knew nothing about.
The easiest way to learn on things, I've found is to scour Ewe Toober.
So you showed me just how easy this is.
I guess the worse thing that could happen is I mangle the green pine bushes..
Thanks again for your videoed review & simple illustration.

Me, too! I bought one years ago and it's still in my garage in its box. I'm scared of using it because I hardly know anything about chainsaws and the little that I know about it are the horrible accidents. Thanks to this video, I've gained the courage to use it come this weekend. Yay!

I think Ryobi products are better than most people give them credit for.
I've already invested in Milwaukee though. They have quite a few tools for their batteries as well.

Milwaukee is good too! I still have Dewalt corded tools, but gave up on their battery series.

I use Milwaukee and Ryobi for everything. I don’t regret a damn thing! Lol

Cuts small branches with ease...takes a little bit more for bigger branches. Cuts small branches like butter...good polesaw for branches.

Wow great review. We have 40 acres that is a 1/2 mile deep with a 2-track running the entire border. This will be great for keeping the trails trimmed. Thank you.

I'm really loving the 18 V One+ battery system! Over 150 tools made, and more new tools are on the way! I have about 8 from the series and really the battery power lasts!

Good stuff man. I just bought the 18volt brushless 12 inch model. Might have to get myself the pole saw too after seeing your vid. Thanks

Thanks! I used it again recently and really impressed! I’m digging the 18v line of tools. I’m buying the inflator and converter next!

Good review. I have similar opinions about Dewalt. They charge more for the name, but don’t provide a better tool versus their competition. I’ve been investing in Makita 18v tools since 2014 and the original batteries are still going strong! While I now have solar power on my homestead, here in the bush, cordless tools with long battery life is essential! Makita has their version of the chain saw that I might look into!

You convinced me to pull the trigger on this guy. It helps that Home Depot has it 45% off now! Thanks.

I have about 10 different 18v plus one tools now! Love that the batteries are interchangeable and ryobi has like 150 different tools you could buy. I get a new one every other month or so.

I like Ryobi’s weed whacked. Have been recently checking out extending pole saws. I need to cut down tree limbs that are shoulder length and higher. I saw you cutting limbs around waist height. Did you have any higher than that for which you still weren’t using the other pole and one other question, are you taller than 6 feet?

    • @WhistleThicket
      @WhistleThicket  2 роки тому

Yes I use the pole saw for higher branches. It has another extender pole that adds about 2.5 feet more reach.

Ryobi currently has a good deal going on right now, if you're still looking to add some tools.

Yes! I just bought the inflator for like 24 bucks!

@@WhistleThicket Not that anyone would, but I have heard that sometimes people can buy the batteries and a tool, and then take the batteries back to get tools at a discount.
