They know people only buy these things for on the go WiFi very popular with truckers but they are mandated by fcc to not sell it to people in areas where they can’t provide service which is why they were geo locking some folks
I like it I had the white box one just got this one I had verzion Wi-Fi for about a year now I stream and have it connected to 3 tvs and iPads works great for $65 monthly
My brother works at Verizon as a sales rep and said you can now pay like $5-$10 more a month to get up to gigabit speeds. Im sure that is just for c-band as I dont see a reason to limit mmwave. But overall, FWA is great, but eventually its gotta hit a peak. You can't cover the entire US with this product and expect cellular speeds not to eventually fall. Nerds will be nerds who will use this product like its fiber and gobble up tons and tons of TB's of usage.

The WNC-CR200A clearly states that it seamlessly switches between 5G UW mmWave, and C band and 4G LTE. So yes it does have mmWave. At first I was expecting amazing results. However, I have always gotten 300 down and 20 up on my old Askey ASK-NCQ1338FA. Still though this unit does seem like a huge upgrade. Thanks for the video Carlos.
I checked and doesn’t connect to mmWave as the LV65 with separate antenna module is the mmWave one. I’ll retest and check bands on it but from the FCC filings I saw no mmWave antennas on this one
it 100% has mmwave i get it on mine ..you just have to be in a area that has mmwave@@CarlosSTech
You always the 1st to get the new fwa devices.. really good loaded ping. I also saw that device has 2.5 gig ports.. maybe they will come out with more speed plans soon

Never disappoint. Good stuff i said you would be the first to do this review on a smt video...still odd no MMWave on this one. At least it has the 6e. And it has more indication lights. Definitely capped. Ive gotten over 1gbps of wifi 6e
Yea it’s speed capped for sure. This is a sign of network slicing
I think the verizon router (cr1000a) can't do dfs channels but mine can.. I've seen 1.7 gigs on wifi 6

@@sbrown9020 Yes about 400 feet away.. they also put it on the tower about a quarter mile away. The tower is actually faster but in order for me to have a permanent mount pointed to the tower (it's line of sight too) I would have to drill holes and run super long ethernet so it's just easier to point it at the small cell (that's kind of blocked by a tree but it still works fine)

It seems like they have a data burst set for like the first so many MB of a download. Thats the only thing that can explain why it hits 500+ for a few seconds.

Im getting the one delivered soon as I had the previous cube one which was giving me problems. So they sent a replacement but that also gave me problems so i went back to chat support and this time they’re sending me the latest one shown in this video. Hope this helps.

For some reason on my new vz 5g home router (WNC-CR200A) im getting pings in the 50-60ms range but when i run a test on my phone using mobile data i get low 30ms ping. Any suggestions?

This unit bro not in stock at all has to be mail only you need uncapped unit trust me. This unit good for basic house hold but for people like us we need more speed to be able download and upload faster lol

The regular LV65 unit is not capped with external antenna and T-Mobile will be capping it soon I’m seeing older plans hitting caps already where they are getting deprio unless it’s go plus 5G even magenta max im seeing it capped
I also see a cap coming think about it I use over 2.5 TB a month they are so much households out there that is using over 1TB even 2 they can’t get backhaul fast enough to support all of that usage it’s going to slow down the network
@@noeltorres28 The average houshold is using about 550GB of data per month. Using over 1.2TB puts you in the 10th percentile of home broadband users and 2.5Tb has you in the top 1 percent of users. In regards to data caps, T-Mobile shouldn't be having a issue since the home internet product is depriotized on the network already so it won't slow down the network for phone users

I am not worried about speed. Data caps on the other hand is a huge dealbreaker. Verizon does not have data caps on the 5G home internet. Does T-Mobile Mobile or AT&T data cap their services?
