Riding a Bangladesh Train

In this episode, I ride a BR train, well in this case, a 'Bangladesh Railways' train from Dhaka to Akhaura junction. The journey was a couple of hours or so, but it was a great opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere of riding a train in Bangladesh.
We were going to see Akhaura Junction where there is a project under construction to improve the rail links in that area for ease of trade by rail.
It's a joint project between the Indian & Bangladesh governments on a large scale. The station was a country junction, but don't let that fool you, the work going on is substantial and the project was quite impressive to see.
I spent pretty much the whole time talking to locals and watching the scenery go by. It certainly was a wonderful experience. Bangladesh certainly is a beautiful country to see from the train.
