I love your makeup! I just found you today & I'm so excited to keep watching. While I love watching other makeup "gurus", this is makeup I would actually wear. So beautiful!
Love your video as usual and thank you so much for being real!!! Thank you for showing us that even UA-camrs get zits! This day and age with social media everybody looks beautiful and they can be hard on yourself esteem so it’s good to know and be honest with the public and show us that this kind of stuff happens to everybody. I really like your blog and thanks again
You are so beautiful, Kate. I've been watching you since I was pregnant with my first (over 3 years ago!) And i feel like you've been my magical skin budda. Since having kids I've struggled with acne and Rosacea pretty bad, but your videos give me tools and tips that really help my confidence. Thank you!
Hey babe! Might wanna try laying off the Bobbi Face Base while your breakouts heal, just speaking from experience! I used it when I worked for the brand and couldn’t figure out why I was breaking out.. spoke to my regional trainer & turns out there is a citrus enzyme of some sort in there that is no bueno for acne prone skin. Just thought I’d pass that on love ♥️ beautiful tutorial!
I'm really interested in how you used the Cherry Blooms lash fibres. Most videos online are 2 years old or more and haven't been very helpful. Any chance you'd want to give a more detailed tutorial on this product? Love your videos - totally appreciate your style!
Just wanted to say thank you for not turning the brightness on in your video; like every other youtube, we can actually see what your applying and how it shows up on your skin; Loved this look!!
You make me want to try makeup!!! It is nice to see the before and after. Shows that I don't have to look so made up but can easily cover up blemishes and redness. Thanks for this video!
Hi, I’m new to your channel and was watching some of your hairstyling video tutorials, and when I saw one for your makeup routine I wanted to check it out. I was really admiring your brows and think they are amazing! I have similar hair and skin color that you have so i was hoping to pick up some tips. Maybe I need to find a MUA to help me find the best way to create mine. Thanks for your makeup tutorial!
After living through 45 years of severe acne I highly recommend a product called Ipsal (found on Amazon). It is a ‘drawing’ salve made of epsom salt in a lotion base, normally used for ingrown hairs, boils, or slivers, etc., which also works wonders on acne. The salt goes down into blemish and kills bacteria and dries it out almost over night. Deep cystic nodes take longer, but it works far quicker than anything else. It is truly excellent for acne.
I love that you start with a natural, real-life face and show us what we can do with make-up. It would be really cool if you could show us a face with more affordable make-up. No dollar store finds, but maybe Walmart price stuff? Your videos are very helpful, thanks for posting them.
My skin reacts the same way to milk. I’m sure you don’t really want unsolicited advice but I thought in case this helps anyone else, I have found something that finally works at clearing my acne up quick. It’s called MARIO Badescu drying lotion. Seriously works and I use cliniques acne foaming wash. I know these are common products everyone knows about but they are one of the many things I’ve tried for acne and honestly work. Anywho, I love all your videos I’ve been watching for a long time and they are so helpful! Tfs!
Love this look! I've had an unusually bad breakout lately too, so I appreciate that you showed us the real you! You are too young to be thinking about going grey, but as a hairdresser I'm wondering what your suggestions are about transitioning from colored hair to grey?
Love your videos! I have a non- makeup question. I have super fine and thinning hair (I’m 63) I’m using some biolage thickening shampoo that works “ok” but the conditioner is way too heavy. Any recommendations on a conditioner?
I love your videos! Have you thought about getting your brows done permanently? I keep losing my browns year after year, and I think about doing it all the time!!
Whey is possible, it's dairy which is awful for skin. Being off dairy made my skin so much healthier! Literally no pimple since, and it's been 15 years.
This was great thank you! Did you have a lash lift during this video?....I just got my first one almost two weeks ago, because of you, and love it...second best thing I did first was eyebrow tattoo... (it was still called tan when I got it done) 😳
What kinds of food are you allergic to? I’m trying to learn what foods can trigger acne. Also what brush do you use for powder on your face and underneath your eyes?
darian.reagan she mentioned it on her instastoroes, I believe, that it was a new food she was trying and noticed the timing correlation. So she stopped eating them and her skin began to clear.
Darian Pope I notice she doesn’t answer any questions. I’m sure she’s busy but with 74 comments you think someone would have time. I don’t expect answers on videos with thousands of comments, but 74? Kind of annoys me.
She has an awesome blemish covering video she recently posted. That will probably help you! Maybe that's why she didn't spend too much time on blemishes in this one.
Lindsey Prismantas Lindsey Prismantas Try thrive mascara fibers do not fall out I absolutely love the mascara and the other goodies they have when you purchase anything from thrive they donate to cancer patients. Give it a try!
Marilyn Rinderneck you can find great similar drugstore products that can deliver a beautiful look. For example, the brown shadow she used, was the Sephora brand, which is not too expensive, but you can certainly find drugstore eye shadow that is comparable. I don’t usually buy high end products, with the exception of Clinique lipstick.
They are so clever, aren't they? My kitty whose fave thing to do was sit with me and have all my attention - true story - was hitting "airplane mode" so I'd look away! It took longer than I'll admit to to figure out what in the heck was wrong with my laptop. :0)
If you're using the right makeup, it should help rather than harm your skin. Also skincare products. My first example of this was my Mom, who never had a pimple in her life, suddenly breaking out all over when using "Oil of Olay" (Big clue here, if your moisturizer smells like perfume and makes you sneeze? Don't use it! That crap was so full of perfume! Second example - I always wore makeup when I walked out of my house, was made fun of for it, but my skin was so protected from sun, even wind burn while snow skiing, now I'm (ick) 49 years old, no wrinkles. Always washed it all off at night (another tip? cheap washcloths double as exfoliation, and you always have a clean one at the ready) I have noticed a lot of women who do makeup here have pimples and redness, so I do think it has something to do with the products.
I love that you don't overdo everything! It looks pretty but still like you.
I just found your channel and I’m so excited. You go to details without hesitation. Thank you

Your skin looks really smooth with the foundation and I love the mascara.
Thanks for sharing. You’re beautiful and that’s a pretty and natural look.

I learn so much from you and you are totally down to earth. Love your videos.

Omg we are makeup twins!! Thank you! I love the Kat Von D liner to press onto to top of my lash line too over my smudged out pencil liner!
You make me want to try makeup!!! It is nice to see the before and after. Shows that I don't have to look so made up but can easily cover up blemishes and redness. Thanks for this video!
I love your kind of doing your make up..it's so natural but so beautiful - very smart
I get breakouts all the time (very oily skin) so it was refreshing to see a make up routine where the skin wasn't perfect at the start

Love it! Thanks so much. This has literally solved it for me as I have no time to experiment.

Great makeup so fresh but still beautiful and your tips and techniques are awesome. GREAT video 👍🏽
OMG! That Bobbi Brown face base broke out my skin something fierce! Good to know.
69 years 'young' and I'm learning incredible tips I wish I had known years ago. Thanks for the tips and the product names!

Your makeup always looks so pretty. Would you say the luminous silk sits well on pores ? Thanks x

What kinds of food are you allergic to? I’m trying to learn what foods can trigger acne. Also what brush do you use for powder on your face and underneath your eyes?
Thanks for the answer! Unsubbing.
You are so dang cute and I miss your makeup and hair tutorials!
I'm so sorry you had such a bad reaction to your protein bar. Love your videos,!
You look beautiful! Thanks.
Who's the MUA you mentioned at the beginning? Would love to give them a follow.
Her name is Ali Andrea and she’s great
Just recently discovered Andreea Ali and binge watched all her videos!
How did you know the protein bar led to your breakouts? I hope they heal soon! I know it’s painful.
darian.reagan she mentioned it on her instastoroes, I believe, that it was a new food she was trying and noticed the timing correlation. So she stopped eating them and her skin began to clear.
singmetosleep29 Oh! Thank you for replying!

They do make 5.25 (my shade) :-)

Love your tips and suggestions! I enjoy all of your you tube videosI would love to send you a natural skincare sample! Id LOVE your opinion!!
I would watch more often as I think you are just beautiful, but I can't afford the high end products.
You can use similar drugstore products, just use her techniques and you'll do great too!
Sephora brand products are affordable.
She has several blog posts where she shares drugstore options she likes.

Personally I would give makeup a break and get your skin right.
