I drove this car today and I really liked it ❤. I thought that the pickup would be lagging, but was pleasantly surprised that it was adequate. The handling was great, has a smooth ride and a quiet cabin. While it’s not an Audi , the fit and finish were very nice and you can see the attention to detail. It was fun to drive & the pickup was quite adequate. I was sold. It has everything I wanted/needed and more.
You took the words right out of my mouth. It's the reason. I purchased a Tiguan last month. I have a SE R line Black. I'm impressed with the Tiguan and the 2.0t engine is a shocker.

I have a gti 2016 and might get a 2022 Tiguan R-line as the cruiser family vehicle. Still debating between it and Rav4 Hybrid XSE
I saw a 2022 VW Tiguan review that shows the back seat moving back and forth and reclining slightly. The review was done by Raiti’s Rides
It does move forward and back to original position, but it does not shift further back.
Putting the 'R" badge on the front should me the VW mark of the high performance version, like with the golf. Putting that label on this is just confusing since it is just cosmetics and a few convenience features. That's why people grumble. It is a nice car, just wish they hadn't put 'R' on it.
It’s kind of like bmw having m sport, so what’s the problem. With r line Tiguan, you get better suspension, steering wheel, seats, wheel, front and rear bumpers.
Guys like a little more HP! That’s why the bug died…it should have had the GTI engine in it. VW…please give me the SEL Premium R-Line with more HP and optional blacked out chrome.

Use the faster playback settings in u-tube
If this vehicle had fog lamps, a better stereo system with more speakers, and was in an hybrid form with more horsepower, it would be perfect.
You can get a better stereo system with the vision package.
@@CYFL79 I just opted for a 2022 Nissan Murano SL. It has an 11-speaker Bose stereo system and 260hp engine. I just wish it had better MPG, more than 23mpg combined, at least.
Will never deal with a VW dealership. They act like their cars are BMWs and you’d be lucky to even test drive it. Overpriced for what you’re getting.
I enjoyed your review. I must say, these newer VW’s are absolute crap. Plastic everywhere, inside and out. Nothing but a money pit.
Tiguan is well built solid ride and handles Very good not like gm*s blazer equinox with there scratch plastic weak body panels
You just described most of the vehicles on the market
@@paulwisniewski2346 And it really shows in their warranties too. Although powertrain warranty isn't as good as some others, anti-corrosion, and other warranties are better.
