AutoArt, Norev and Almost Real look all good, but I prefer metal/diecast models more. So Norev and Almost are my fav´s. Or the good old AutoArt models like the S63 AMG.
REVIEW:‼️‼️ I bought the Maybach 600s from ALMOSTREAL I had a few problems with it. It was brand new factory sealed. (1) The tail lamp came off, good was very loose. (2) Rear Wheels were sticking and barely rotating.(3) And the front lamp came loose. I am debating selling it or keeping it and replacing with AutoArt. They are both very expensive. I however love the detail and it's for display only I love the carpet and seating, everything. And the fact the emblem it's very sturdy and not cheap and easy to break like NOREV, AutoArt.
I had the same problem with rear wheels on my Almost Real Maybach and I could not solve it whatever I tried. Moreover, it seems to me that the wheels on both AlmostReal and Autoart 1:18 Maybachs (SWB, not Pullman) are a little bit not in scale: they look some smaller compared to the 1:1 car and should be a pair of millimetres bigger in diameter, IMHO. Also my AlmostReal Maybach had lots of inaccuracies of assembly. All that made me feel rather disappointed after such great expectations grown up from lots of admired reviews. I had an idea to sell this model, but I still can't make up my mind to do this because overall this is still the best model of big luxurious Merc on the scale model market.
People seem to have a massive hard on for black Mercedes cars with bright interior. Because otherwise, I can still find the grey pre-facelift W222 from Norev for around 80 euros. Same goes for the ruby black facelift (but has black interior). And the newly released blue one (although they messed up the headlights on that one, maybe nobody wants it because of that lol). The black facelift with semi-beige interior has appreciated to 150 eur now.
Go for the Norev. I have one. It looks like a real compressed car trust me. Norev has become my favorite brand and I have been collecting models since long time
Well thanks for your precious time on important comparison. I reached to the final opinion favoring Norev. You have rated low overall but it turned out to be convincing in the price segment. No matter if the wheels aren't shiny and full rubber (let me tell you as per my experience Norev's wheel material is durable, it helps car life long rather defective with aging) The bonnet is altered with two livers, this is also makes the handling well. So, my favors goes for Norev. And dear friend, nice to meet you for the very first time. It was really good to see you 👌👍
I have the Black 2018 Norev Mercedes S Class and its flawless. It actually feels like a real car in small dimensions. Love the Norevs . Just hope they update their catalog
Sorry, but a wheel should NEVER fall off a model this expensive. They are all good and all expensive. I recently had the wheel come off my Greenlight Trans Am GTA and after gluing it back the wheel no longer turns. That's bullshit! 1:18 scale should be robust!
Excellent video!, Because of your help, I went with Norev, it´s verry good option! Can you please continue this type of comparisons with your other models (Rolls, Bentley, .. and again the SUV?
Superb video- thanks! I agree with your assessment at the end. AutoArt is shooting itself in the foot with its "composite" materials and Norev is the best value for money. I've just received my Almost Real Bentley Mulsanne Speed Light Emerald on Midnight Emerald. It's stunning!
Very similar models. Sometimes I do not know whether to speak Mercedes or Maybach. It is a pity that 57 and 62 is a distant past and this model is not resurrected. P.S. Good film !!! Greeting
The model looks better with the custom "real" look licence plate. I know its now not original to the model, but the reality aspect makes the car look better in my opinion! 👍😁😎
Almost Real looks great on this model, but Autoart is Autoart. It is '' "almost" the best. Try CMC s sometimes, then will see the difference for "real". A collector says that, i mean me. :)
Yes you are right! For me it is perfect because i am a big fan of the classics. Your collection it is great, especialy the parking lot, and i'm always looking with pleasure at yours videous!

Norev one is my favourite. It is much cheaper and doesn't look bad at all.
No doubt.

Exactly what I was looking for! I plan on getting the norev and almost real, no composite junk for me

I think that independent of the material from which each vehicle was made, the most accurate and detailed car is AUTOart...

You are God damn right
I think Mercedes Maybach Pullman is the winner.
Lovely appreciate the effort
What is your overall opinion on the Almost Real? I just might order one. Great review!
