Destiny 2 Season of Defiance Season 20 - Ігри
I don't even use warlock, but that was so easy to understand that I'm subbing and setting it up for when I do lol
Yeah, strand is very easy to build around, which makes it a very powerful subclass
best explanation of anything in destiny ever. subbing already and this is the first vid ive seen
yeah im subbing too
Hey! So I experimented alot this week with Strand, and I really enjoyed this build the most. There's alot of different things you can do with Strand, so let me know what you think! Thanks
Dim link pls
And…did you talk fragments? Which ones are you using on this?
@@nilsheitjohann1277 There was only 2 Fragments at the time of this video. Today I would use Mindspun with The Wanderer
@@LudusLive thanks alot for the quick reply man. love the on pointness of the video and will definitely try this one :) thanks gain
You want a full suspend built? Swap out the legs for Necrotic Grips, it spreads the poison to other targets on death, which ALSO spreads the Suspension.
Finally, someone who can explain straight to the point without having a needless 10-minute video. Seriously, you are doing a great deed, my good sir.
Now that I get lightfall for free and I'm about to finish witch queen I'm absolutely making this build
necrotic grips work really well with this build too!
that’s what i was thinking after he said poison damage bc of the fragment. either one could be swapped out, the question is: more grenade energy or more threadling bois
Necrotic grips actually works way better with this build than Swarmers.
@@charleywilson2146 the only advantage swarmers gets is the fact that the threadlings will unravel targets, which is certainly not meaningless.
@@StygianJax there’s other ways to unravel targets, (such as tangles/ warlock melee) I used the necro version and everything was getting suspended across the whole map, poison also procs unravel so unravel damage will go along with the poison damage
Yup, I’m running necrotic grips currently with this and it’s awesome. You can also swap out the Osteo for the new Vexcalibur (or another void glaive) and take advantage of spreading poison through melee kills. Since it’s void, it gets volatile rounds if you have volatile flow from the season artifact unlocked. Admittedly probably not as effective in higher level content as Osteo but super fun for casual play if you enjoy glaives. 😁
NOW THIS IS A FUCKING GUIDE!!!! My man shows everything hes talking about so you can follow with ease. Absolute perfection
Love the Pokémon sounds 😂 Truly my two favorite games in 1 video
The fastest sub yet. Straight to the point with solid explanation.
I prefer this but with the fragment that gives woven mail on orb pickup instead of thread of fury. Helps with survivability quite a lot. It’s especially nasty is you can proc void overshields as well.
for the overshield that makes vexcalabur a fun choice too
Just started a warlock character after playing hunter for 3 years in a row cuz the strand abilities for it look sickkkkk
Or you could just play all 3.
Thank you 🙏
I never understood why other destiny build content creators have to speak like they are in a 10 second Hulu ad lol
Thank you for adding to my favorite build, I had to get through grapple withdrawals.
The main problem is still that 10-15 second cooldown on creating a tangle. I wish the swarmers had an additional effect that decreased table cooldown. That would have thrown them right up there with abeyant leap.
Bro this is the best abridged thing I’ve ever seen
I haven’t seen a build this potent In a while! Thank you, when I decide to work on my Lock I’m building this one.
I remember the most OP warlock build before they massively nerfed the Transverse Steps.
Subclass: dawnblade - Well of Radiance
Primary weapon: Sweet business
Secondary and heavy: [doesn’t really matter]
Boots: Transverse Steps - exotic effect: “when your Well of Radiance is activated, all guardians inside will have their weapons automatically reloaded while the well is active.”
So you get all 3 fireteam members to equip the sweet business, pop a well in front of a boss, and now you have a nearly unstoppable volley of 2160 rounds per minute going at the boss for 30 seconds. And boy, the sound of 3 sweet businesses all firing for an uninterrupted 30 seconds was beautiful. Now all it does is increase reload speed while in the well.
Incandescent also works great on weapons like calus mini tool and judgement of kelgoroth!
this guy gonna blow up. havent used warlock in years but this simplicity makes me want to
Please keep your content straight and to the point like this! Love it!
Necrotic Grips/Osteo with this build is incredibly powerful.
This build with Thorn is fun in GMs. Up until the current season its about all I ran.
I don't usually comment saying things like "subbing", but this was very easy to follow and I'd love to see more content like this following other builds. This format and the popup images were very informative. Told me what I'd be sacrificing to get certain advantages, which got me thinking about what I could possibly do to replace that and improve it in my own way. This was very well done, and I hope this comment helps you spread and figure out the content you should be making. Enjoy the fame lightbearer.
Nice work on this video! So quick and concise yet easy to understand!
Nice pokemon sfx bro nostalgic
Subbing cause it was super easy to follow. Very clearly explained and loved that you also showed what to use and their description.
Clear and simple to understand, absolutely subbing 😊
First time here. It was quick, useful, and fun thank you
Verity’s/suspend with quicksilver and a strand heavy has been so good in endgame
Here's the thing tbh with swarmers you certainly get quite a few more tangles made and everything is unraveled. But beyond breaking a tangle for 2 threads and then just simply having all thread kills generate a tangle on their own cool down plus the unravel very strong but honestly not much more than half a class item exotic so I heard they were gonna boost the actual swarmers which only have unraveling on threads over the class item
The background music is givin me Pokémon vibes 😂😂
Haven’t seen a good build guide come up for using the swarmer exotic. Thanks for the insight!
This is a cool 50/50 threadling suspend build. Great explanation as well
Dude i like the background music✌️✌️
Quick and down to the point love it
Was ready to switch things up a bit for my strand warlock... but this is the exact set up I've been using since lightfall day 1. 😂
This is amazing I love this video
Nice and short and to the point..
Thanks
Swarmers + Le Monarque is a great build
Thank you for the no BS vid!
Subbed
Thank you! I'll be trying this build out!
Bungie has stated in a Q&A, that they plan on adding more exotics (sounds like exotic armor) that enhance and add poison effects to melee and weapons of sorrow. Looking forward to the types of poison/strand builds we could see from Hunters, Titans, and Warlocks, with weapons like Thorn, Ostreo, and Touch of Malice.
I personally use a full on threadling spawning build that is similar but it's focused fully on grenade regen
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that thread of generation is getting reworked in FS, such that poison won't trigger it any more
Saw a build using veritys brow and it's very good at wiping out groups of enemies and suspending the rest, been using quicksilver storm with it and it's a beast
The Gaviton lance is nasty with that setup lol
And for my pvp guys, thorn would be great
If you swap out for the threadling grenade n use Osteo and a rocket it’s does the same if not more damage than the starfire build it works wonders
I've been using this exact setup, minus the warlock specific stuff for a while now.
A few things here to note, osteo striga isn't really needed if you use necrotic grips, your melee unravels and only swarmers make threadlings unravel and make tangles spawn threadlings but a huge issue currently is that swarmers is bugged and currently doesn't work with shackle grenades
Osteo Striga procs Necrotic Grips. So while you don’t necessarily need it it does help.
I prefer using necrotic grips since the unraveling and the poison is super powerful when you proc a jolt using the new fusion rifle, which gives you a more powerful jolt effect
Thread of generations grenade energy that you gained from dot effects from stuff like necrotics was nerfed so it would be better to use a high rate of fire weapon
I've been looking for a reason to use Strand and the Striga more often.
Reminder that you absolutely do not need damage over time to proc generation a ton. You actually get far farrrrr more procs with a strand weapon that has unraveling rounds proc'd. Not to mention your threadlings unraveling enemies.
Therefore, a threadling build will top the ability regen of a suspend build. Only issue is threadlings builds don't give rift energy... which is only useful for threadlings builds :/
Necrotic grips are better imo. Swarmers do 2 tings. 1: destroying a tangle=2 threadlings and 2: threadlings unravel targets. The reason why necrotic is better imo its that your melee already unravels targets and u have 3 charges. Unravel also is unnecessary until we get to the beefcakes
Great vid!
Mane I wish I had Lightfall strand OP as hell
I feel like necrotic grips might be better for the extra poison so you can have even more grenades
woah, another cracked out build for warlock that doesn't rely on glitches, crazy how i don't see anything like this for titan or hunter.
Back before they gutted glaves
This build was actually wiled with a incandescent glaives base melee, i mean quiet literally room go boom
Just 2 word,thank you
What not the necrotic grips? With ostriga holy shit colored me impressed
Stand build without Necro, but instead, the all new exotic boots! Now that's what I like to see!
"Hey i got this add clea-
stfu warlock use well"
Born to nova forced to well
stand built different. 🔥
Olivine city remix maybe?.
Other than that ima try this out
Chibirobo did this but his was a little different
Vexcalibur also works very well with this
Patched sadly
Me, a Battle Harmony main:
Would be stronger with necro grips instead of the legs. If osteo is being used the simple combo of the exotics with suspend is better. Then you don't need to focus so hard of threading, they just become crowd control.
Yes I thought I was the only one with this build
Everyone forgets about Thorn and Prospector 😔
Either swarmers or necrotic with osteo for more aoe effect
Now I just need the armor exotics
I will try this as a warlock main
spent an hour making a max threadling strand build but this one would outperform it instantly
I use this as well but with Necrotic Grips exotic instead
Can u do a strand warlock build on spire of the watcher dungeon
I’m guessing I should use the aspect that spawns three threadlings on rift cast with this right? This seems like such an op build I have to change my swarmers build to this
And that’s a yoink
There needs to be a way to save Shorts man I gotta try this out
I need a couple more fragments and I got it. I use Ostea Striga.
I'd say pair with necrotics. But swarners
i thought this was datto for a minute
What you can consume shackle granade. God damn. I started warlock month ago I can consume void and solar but strand I gotta try this.
Mmmmm your wrong, I'm joking big dog thanks for the vid
I just need to pick up orbs power to restore helth and all my class abilities
Try kelgrath with incandescent and necrotic grip plus this build (incandescent profs off of melee kills)
Im about to create this build today
Imo necro grips work better with striga and swarmers with crafted hatchling strand weapon
What armor mods you use? And what Aspects?
I wouldn't personally recommend osteo for pvp, the travel time is more than enough for someone with a decent hc to get in a couple shots and duck, ace of spades will take you out quick.
What about the aspects and artifact setup???
It’s funny how Bungie said they’re not creating a poison-based subclass. Yet, some Broodweaver Warlocks are creating poison builds with Necrotic Grips and Thorn/Osteo Strgia. I even encountered such a Warclock in the Tower, with the Thorn themed armor set from Grasp of Avarice, with a green glow to match Strand.
Good idea lmao I need amor from grasp now
What about a triple damage build? Judgement of kelgoroth with incandescent necrotic grips, double DOT's and the strand suspension explosion
Love this build... its just warlock solar is just too op atm
Replace the swarmers with necrotic grips for more dmg
Is the gun that he using in the video the one he mentioned?
Ik you said dot. But final warning is good too
For anyone who doesn't know if you complete lightfall on legendary difficulty you can get the swarmers on completion
