Hey Rob, that’s going to be one cool ride! Just a fun car you can drive every day and park it at a parking lot and not have to worry about anybody scratching your paint! Very generous of Randy!
Hey Rob you know my story with my 55. I had the Cragers, lifted up all around, no front bumper, headers, 327 4speed ,bucketseats, painted Gold, stickers in the rear glass, etc. It was a chick magnet too which was the best part,LOL! The fun thing is I still have it as you know. Anyhoo looking fwd to the post car being done as they both have restore potential. Randy is a hell of a guy like to see his junkyard someday...
WOW that is one heck of a plan. It sounds like you have a vision for this 55. I had my first tri five in 1964 and it's what I learned to wrench on. I remember cars lifted in the front or just the back and sometimes all the way around. Stickers were big. Things like Moon Equipped, Hedman Headers and Duntov were common. I am looking forward to each phase of this build.
Use parts off the two door and do a two door conversion on the four door- the four door sedan appears much more solid. It would make a great, solid two door conversion car.
The great videos continue. Did you consider converting the 4 door car to a 2 door. The 4 door seems to be the better car. However it is your car and you should do what ever you think. Keep up the good work. Cheers Mike
Man, what a blessing! Can I ask, why are the two doors more popular? I assume it’s because they just look better? Mine is a four door and I’m so glad it has four. 🤣
dig it. how about this. since its not a trophy build. how about letting viewers send you their left over parts for it. we all have something were not ever gonna use again.
Just sell the 4 door and use that money for the 2 door. I wouldn't waist my time using that 4 door for anything other than parts that unbolt. That's a ton of time trying to not destroy the panels your talking about using.

Can’t wait for you to start on this project! I WILL watch every episode! Thank you for doing this. There is so much to learn from watching you!

Really like the 70’s early 80’s theme!!
What a cool idea modifying the front windshield to the Bel Air size. That’s going to look tough!!
That will be a cool build. 😎👍😎
I like your vision. Can’t wait to see this build. Your work is fantastic.
I'm looking forward to following along with this budget build!!!
Good vision. Is the wifes car first?
It’s going to be awesome

Congratulations.
I have a 57 Chevy with High Jacker shocks
Sounds like a plan!
In one of your videos you said you rewired your cars! I want to rewire my 4 door 55 . Any information you can share? “Thanks “

Cool
You could send me the underdash steering column bracket. Lol
I don't know.... that 2dr is looking like the parts car to me. Take the B posts and quarter window areas out of it and put them in the 4dr.
Build a Gasser out of it.

Do you have some parts you wanna send? I like your idea.
@@haffrods7055 yea some smalls, no trim, but what i have your welcome to.

I need the roof and chassis and rockers. I'm not afraid of work
Build the 4 door insted, you save hundreds of hours. Dont kill a 4 door cause of 1000 dollars please.
I need the roof , rockers, quarter/rear door section, and chassis. It'd be more than just $1000 worth of metal.
@@haffrods7055 Its your car :)
