I haven't seen a single ThredUp rescue box unboxing lately that I've been impressed with. Seems like the boxes are filled with rejects rather than expired merchandise anymore. I know you will make lemonade with these lemons 😅It's always fun to watch your unboxings - and Delaney is a joy👍

I never really thought about the ones I don't take off the shoes are adding to my weight. I also think our price per lb. is less ($1.89/lb) and I'm more flexable when it come to a little extra weight.
There are parts of the country that have significantly higher price per lb. I totally understand why people have to think like that! Ours recently went from $1.69 to $1.89/ lb. and I could tell the difference rite away. Combined with the northern winter items being heavier it has increased my COG like $.50 which doesn't sound like much but at the bins that's a decent difference.
@@AmandaPruitt I'm surprised in your area that it was that low and still is. Alot of major cities have their over $3/Lb. you're still lucky! Hopefully that doesn't change for you!

I got it back in August and ended up making most of my money back off of one pair! I’m always hesitant to order these though because they are hit or miss ☹️

I like the Nikes and vans. This box is a lot like the one I got. Mostly cheap, low quality, and unsellable shoes. To me the price is not worth the risk. I hope you can get most of your money back from the BST.
That box was pretty bad, I got one when they had a sale and I got new Birkenstock Boots that were new with tags that sold quick and paid for the box. They should put at least one or two really good pairs in each box so you can recoup some of your money. I did get a few cheap brands too.
I have NEVER had a good box of any kind when a sale happened. I forgot to mention I ordered TWO boxes after this one, after the sale, and they both arrived before this one did. So that tells me they were literally grasping for anything to fulfill the orders.
@ I usually only buy them when they are on sale and I have gotten some good pairs, Rothys, Kate Spade, Coach and Frye. Not all in the same box. There are always duds and unlistables.

she is absolutely his little twin!! I love it so much haha. I have gotten a few good ones but shewww if I had paid full price, which is just under $100 now, I would have been so upset! At least its ONLY $35 - and with BST and maybe listing 2 pairs I am confident I will profit. But still.
Just came back to write a comment on all the new Recue boxes available now on Thredup! Wondering how they can niche down that much and if the normal boxes will be worse due to these new choices. Side note, haven't gotten a shoe box in forever as they went to crap. I had to throw out half of my last box they were so bad and un-repairable. I MIGHT have made my money back on the ones I sold but not even sure. :(.

@@AmandaPruitt I did just receive two really good 25 pc boxes this month, I like those and the denim ones usually so I hope they dont get bad. The newer boxes are alot more money per piece but if the items are good I wouldnt mind so much. Not sure if I want to take the chance. I might wait to see some unboxing of them lol.

As I watch your video I am listing clothes from my last 200 lb clothes box. It was overall crappy and from PA. I am having to donate about 100 lbs of the 200 lbs. The 100 lbs is not even good enough to take to the BST stores. I also bought during the sale and got a better deal. I could have had a larger discount if they had not dropped their rewards system. The way Thred Up is treating their business will have them joining the bankruptcy court at this rate. As for shoes I never have good luck with their shoe boxes. I also do better at the Goodwill bins finding brands that others are not familiar with. I think you are lucky that you and Delany can wear some of the pairs so not a total loss.

I think all resellers should avoid purchasing from thred up for at least 3 months as they have let you all down,Protest by not buying anything from them that will teach them to do a better job........Encourage all your friends and resellers to stop buying anything until they get it together the power of the dollar will teach them.........Resellers find other things to buy and unbox.
If she changes her mind, I sold a pair of the Vans Asher’s in black for about $28 about a month ago. I do think the men’s sneaker may get you about $30. Otherwise, definitely one of the worse I’ve seen lately!! Sorry!!

My son started a rubber band ball from the rubber bands I get off bins shoes! It's actually the size of a baseball already!

they took three pairs so I am close to breaking even - and we kept three pairs for personal. thank goodness it wasnt full price!

This was definitely a rough box😢 I did not order mine on a sale. I’ve sworn off of the sales! My 200lbs recently wasn’t great either. So sad!😅
It was my first and last sale of this box - and now of any box! Bleh!!
