My father shaved for years with an injector razor like this. I used it a couple of times and the angle head was just “off” for me, and the shaves as I remember were terrible. His was a Shick, maybe. When I started in earnest, I used a double edges razor. I when back 10 years ago. Will never use a razor with more than one blade, again. Thanks for posting this video

I'm shocked that my local grocery store still carries the injector blades but not double edge blades. This razor looks to work well, you had no issues resulting. Bought one after seeing so many good reviews. Had my first shave with it today, worst razor burn of my life. I think mine is defective because the guard bar isn't centered and there's an angular gap from right to left. Parker needs better QC for sure. I wanted to like it and have a change of pace from DEs.

Hey Geo, I see you are having hair issues. Receding hairline and grey hair. I had the same. I dyed my hair too. But after a while I got tired of it. And I did the best thing...I shaved my head. Its the best thing to do. And I see you won't look bad bald. Try it.
Can the head and blade be removed cleaned, dried, and then reassemble to be ready for the next shave? What makes TTO and Three-Piece types so good is that the head parts AND the blade can be cleaned and dried, ready for next shave. Taking out the blade for cleaning is no trouble on d.e. razors.
I have one that was literally the first batch. Very mild....to the point that for me it's useless. I guess I could try some pressure--like a cartridge..... . But I am good with the old style Schick, yours I had never seen....( and I have more of them than fingers). Cheers

Lovely razor for beginners, really god idea, I like this as it’s a great way to help my friends get in to this style of shaving and away from the cartridge junk
It was a little harder than the easy time he had doing it, the slider wouldn't slide easily, do you have to have the setting on 1?, oh slider piece just broke off, now what do I do?

Great review ! I think I loved the razor ! 🤩 It also loads easily and safely, since you don't have to touch either the old or the new blade . I think the loading mechanism is inspired by the way the rifles are loaded . For 34$ with 21 blades is a real steal ! 💈👍

At first, I thought I was doing something horribly wrong, because the blade was hardly touchng my beard, but after I put a fresh blade in, it was magic, a really great shave! I wonder if the blade installed by the factory is some kind of slug or placeholder. It looked like it had an edge, but it was as dull as a butterknife. Anyway, just based on one shave so far I'm quite happy and would recommend it as a change of pace, a great travel option, or your main razor, if you are into it.

Hey Geo! So I've been wanting to get merker 34C HD for quite a while now. It would be the first new, brand new and not used, razor for my collection. I've been checking different websites out and reviews and I'm seeing some reviews that are suggesting that the new merker 34 C HD is not as high quality as in previous generations of this razor. Apparently some of the reviews have said that the texture of the handle is different and that the mechanism that screws down the head cap feels very loose, etc etc.. can you do a review of an original merker 34 C HD against the new one that is being produced currently and let me and the rest of us in the shaving community know whether there is a difference between the two in quality? Shave on my brother!!
You are correct. I have noticed that the handle knurling on my 10 year old 34C is more pronounced than the newest models, which feel smoother. The twist still works fine...

Would you recommend this one specifically, for problems with irritation and razor bumps? Or is there any razor and blade you’d recommend over this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Version 1 was genuinely one of the worst razors I’ve ever tried; couldn’t get a decent shave at any setting. Going to avoid version 2 like the plague..
I have this one and have to say I had a excellent close shave but I did use the Schick blades blows the supply razor out of the park. Been shaving since 1975 🤦🏻♂️

Just make sure you're injecting the blades correctly and not stripping them dull..

I tried persona 74 blades, with this, the blades (on any setting I can turn it to) don't out far enough to touch my skin
